In the near term (five years? Ten years?) Disney can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. Neither can their TV properties - ESPN, FX and National Geographic are all woke.

They can drop prices on park admission, and like Anheuser Busch trying to give away Bud Light, we aren’t buying. We have alternatives and don’t need them or their products.

It is nice seeing conservatives not putting up with the woke garbage anymore.

You are getting ahead of yourself. We still have 17 months until the election and the last thing you need is over cover confidence. Just remember, a year ago all the "conservative" commentators were saying that Biden would die in office. Since then, Biden has opted for re-election and 30 percent of the electorate are stupid enough to vote for him. BTW, the History Channel has also gone woke.

Right on. I remember in the 1970's when we scrimped and saved to afford a trip to Disney World with our son who was five. We towed our camper and the fees and camping fares were way cheaper that we thought. 40 years later that same son took his 4 kids to DW and stayed on site. Now he hates Disney worse than he ever loved it.

The re-upping of Iger means that Blackrock is solidly in control on the company, unless the activist investor got something we don't know about. Disney is done, someone opined they are like the old MGM, failing due to cost overruns, even though they still made movies with good audience appeal. Disney only has cruises going for it I guess. They are going to lose over $1 Billion on movies this year, $2 to $2.5 Billion on Disney +, and are going to be forced into a buyout of Hulu from Comcast that will cost them more than $10B - and they don't have the cash. And the WSJ article on the Parks pretty much shows the downstream issues are terminal. And congress can start whacking away its copyright protections whenever the sweetheart extensions come up for renewal.

In our world where it is difficult to get factual news and honesty from almost everything, it is reassuring to see that this one immutable law of voting with our dollars is still working. Disney, Bud Light, Target . . . . they aren't struggling because of a price issue with their offerings. They are confronting an enemy they little understand. They have hit the brick wall of morals and the human conscience.

When I was a kid, oh, around over 60 years ago, my brother and me always watched the hour-long Disney show on TV on Sunday evenings. There were some great movies back then, both animated and live-action: "Lady and the Tramp", "The Ugly Dachshund", "That Darn Cat", "The Jungle Book", "101 Dalmatians", to name a few. I'm not sure when Disney, the corporation, went off the rails - probably started after Walt died. I think the last movie connected with Disney that I saw was an animated movie, "Bolt", which came out in 2008. It was about a little dog who played a superhero in a TV series and believed that he was supernatural.

When a woke company mocks you to your face, why would you give them your money? When the same company encourages sexualizing and grooming your kids, why would you give them your money? I’d love to see them go belly up.

No I don’t care about their employees. Maybe people will think twice about working for woke companies if a few of them go broke. Maybe that puts more pressure on those companies to STFU and learn some respect for their customers. That’s what all this boils down to.

If they can’t be respectful of the people who put money in their pockets and food on their table, maybe they don’t deserve your business.

Put these guys out of business. Put Budweiser out of business. Rinse and repeat. Put CNN out of business. How is CNN even in existence? Nobody watches it except for media types.

It’s a lot cheaper and less destructive to knock these woke corporations and moguls down to size than to get into a kinetic domestic war. No money = no money for Democrats. No money for Democrats = fewer Democrats in office.

Indiana Jones? This is just more Hollywood laziness. All they do these days is recycle old ideas? A Barbie movie? I’m the wrong demographic, but how could that not suck?

The money is what buys the politicians. The politicians without money are like pigs without slop. They don’t do so well. They don’t talk so loud.

You want entertainment? Get away from the screen. Actually do something. Maybe read a book and learn something. Learn how to shoot, fish, bake, garden, go camping , do some stuff as a family. It could be anything. Life skills and experiences that are valuable and useful.

These people that want to oppress us need to learn to respect us. Without us, they are nothing. They need to be reminded of that now more than ever.
