I am not shocked that the FBI framed someone. I am shocked the FBI framed a democrat and a minority (Gillum).

With the level of blatant corruption in our federal government, there is no need to frame anyone. Just do your job. Unfortunately, democrats other than Gillum seem to have immunity.

I feel sorry for those FBI agents in the field who are actually trying to do their job correctly.

Sorry Schlongy, but screw those FBI agents in the field. If they were truly doing their jobs they'd blow the lid off all the corruption. Instead they ignore it. They're just as guilty and that is proven by their silence in the J6 set up. Fuck em all

At this point, I think it is safe to say that the FIB has purged its patriotic personnel. Only goons remain.

Nephew was in service then went to work for ss on path to fbi before becoming disillusioned and leaving fed to work in small town leo career. He is very happy being in a red state where support is real and true.

Gillum didn’t understand he was one of the “little people”, disposable after their usefulness date had expired. The naked gay hooker thing sealed his fate.

Can you imagine how he could have been played had he been elected and that incident covered up?

You haven't noticed the Chinese chits on the Biden family ?

The District of Corruption is rotten to the core. The fight for power is over who gets to pull the strings on crooked American Politicians. Nothing more, nothing less.

It would be nice to see federal departments and agencies moved out of D.C. and dispersed across the country, particularly in red states.

Of course.

Biden just hasn’t reached his useful idiot expiration date yet. But it’s coming.

Gillum was disposable because he didn't win.

Fibbie agents doing the actual job, who knew. Remember, if the FIB's accuse someone of a crime 9 times out of ten, they didn't do it.

How many in the field, though, are not infected with this mentality. The Federal Bureau of Intimidation needs to be shut down. It's a corrupt disgrace.

The FBI is really apolitical. They don't care about party or race. They care about preserving their power.

Preservation of power means they are 100% Political.

The exception that perhaps proves your rule would be an acquaintance of mine who was an agent in Chicago whose judgment was shockingly poor as reflected by his candor after joining a mutual friend after a beer-league hockey game. After just one brew he held forth that it was a point of pride that the local office actively ignores the directives from Dir. Wray that clearly originated from the Trump WH & DoJ...apparently, the bureau will do as it pleases, and its loyalty was to Obama.

I was shocked, and doubted he truly was a field agent, but was assured by both he, and my friend that he was.

From then on, I began to question the bureau's screening and vetting process.

I don't. They mostly choose to be silent and watch it. They are aware of the lies and criminal behavior. They are part of the problem.

Why do you think there are any?

Step one: Remove from the FBI all functions that historically, constitutionally belong to other agencies. There is a US Marshal service, every state has forensic labs nowadays, there are private and government computer labs now.

Step two: Dissolve the agency. All existing personnel can apply for other govt jobs but start at the back of the hiring list. Except for the ones being prosecuted by those other agencies I just mentioned.

Excellent idea! Is that ever going to happen??

The only terrorists, who have a already committed a crime, are the 'only' true terrorists, the FBI have caught. The rest were set up. TSA hasn't caught a terrorist ever.

The FBI is so inhumanely evil, 90% of the j6'ers, they have arrested, can't afford a lawyer. These are the people the FBI seeks out, folks that can't defend themselves, for lack of money and lack of common sense. The duped leader in the Whitmore case, lived in a basement of a vacuum cleaner repair shop with no running water. He had to go the Mexican restaurant next door to go to the bathroom. He is a helpless nobody, the FBI weaponized, to be an international terrorist kidnapper, bomber. At least he can stand up from his cell bed, cross his cell and pee.

Those of us in the private sector have to demonstrate our value proposition on a daily basis or we lose our jobs. That is when the losers running our government and the quasi-governmental Fed economic “experts” aren’t also putting us out of work with their wanton spending, manipulation of markets and idiotic policies. But what happens to government officials and agencies and elected politicians who consistently screw up, abuse their power, and get lousy results? Nothing. No, sorry, they get a promotion. The FBI and the rest of the bureaucracy is out of control, incompetent, dishonest, abusive, and not worth a fraction of the money we spend on it. They can’t catch terrorists or mass murderers “ on their radar” before they strike, but the can arrest Roger Stone or raid Donald Trump for documents he’s entitled to or arrest somebody in Washington DC, but not at the Capitol on January 6 , who broke no laws and they along with the DOJ lawyer scum they work for, portray law abiding citizens as monsters and ruin their lives. These entities don’t serve us. They serve themselves and the politicians who protect and enlarge them. Every single agency - same problems.

Very difficult to fix, and everybody is afraid of these goons. The vaunted “agents in the field”? Gimme a break. Would you work for a blatantly dishonest organization, terrorizing innocent people with military style raids on nonviolent protesters and the ex-President for political effect? Would you kneel in the street to the scam artists that are BLM? I know we all have to earn a living, but where are the whistle blowers, the disgusted patriots, anybody with a shred of honor or integrity who swore an oath to protect this country? Why are they still silent and in the payroll? If the front lines carry out the illegal and corrupt orders of their bosses, they aren’t heroes. They’re zeros. Sorry, but that’s the way it is.

I remember one of my law professors of long ago and a retired F.B.I. agent, told those of us who were considering going into "Law Enforcement" that "If you choose the FBI as a career, that you are on a mission from God." I have not heard or read that anywhere. It's been awhile since I have been to Utah, but with the Mormons being so uptight about drinking, it would make sense to hire them during Prohibition. The last time I was in Utah, there were NO liquor stores in the state. Interesting policy since you could ALWAYS order liquor in restaurants and hotels.

Current FBI Director Christopher Wray should have been fired years ago - he's used government planes to fly to his vacation home in upstate NY and has lied and white-lied his way through numerous government commissions. Every time the FBI has been implicated in hijinx under his watch - he says he knew nothing about it it. He lies. You could even say he was a traitor of sorts.

Whenever I come across mention of W-A-T-E-R-G-A-T-E, I am compelled to link this excellent report from 2016, compiled by James Rosen and published in Commentary Magazine. "Bob Woodward's Sins of Omission" clarifies the purpose and intent of intelligence agent Bob Woodward: to drive Richard Nixon from power and retool the direction of journalism in the United States. They even made a movie about it. Remember? Only they left the really juicy stuff out. James Rosen fixed it for'em. https://www.commentary.org/articles/james-rosen/bob-woodwards-sins-omission/

"Louie Louie and the Singing Nun were chart-toppers in 1963. No wonder we had Beatlemania the next year."

Thank goodness! The best we could do was The Beach Boys (not bad), but both reflected a better time in America before pop music took a decidedly less bright view of the present and future - but I digress.

It won't happen, but here's what I'd like to see:

Gut the FBI and defund it entirely.

Arrest every living agent and Director going all the way back to Louie Freeh, and lock them up in Gitmo.

While we're at it, arrest every living AG going back to the successor of the late Janet Reno, lock them up in Gitmo as well, and try them for treason with military tribunals.

Assign whatever legitimate functions remain to other agencies.

I am still perplexed why Trump would appoint a life long Democrat C. Wray to head the agency? Like most governments agencies, 90% waste 10% good. Thank you for another enlightening Tome.

Trump made quite a few questionable appointments. It's hard to say he was wont for talent who would work with him or he just didn't know how terribly they would perform.

I believe if you put together a won/loss column on his appointments(even Scotus) you would have 10% Good 90% bad. Trump seems to have good intentions but is too trusting of others.

You might be right...I do think his hands were tied though in that many people were discouraged (or afraid!) to work for him, hence he ended up with Manifold and Bannon who were quickly ejected like bad meals! You know, if the Republicans really want to do something good, they will defund the security state: the DHS, the NSA, the FBI, and the CIA. The military can develop a "spy" branch to watch things overseas and the US Marshalls can handle crime that crosses state lines.

Give any savings to tighten security coming into the country and state and local police forces.

The security state has become a rot that protects itself.
