To be fair, being terrified of your underlings killing you and taking your unearned power is 100% a hallmark of communist leadership.

Dennis's avatar

I believe the correct DSA term is “9 grams” (from Mother Russia).

steph_gray's avatar

I guessed what this meant before I looked it up and was correct.

WTPuck's avatar

Me too. I learn so much here.

I’m not unhappy that our Democrat voting friends and family are experiencing some of the same frustration and anger with the DSA and the international Left that has taken over the entire Democrat Party right down to dog catcher and medical examiner that we Conservative, normal American, Republicans have been experiencing with RINO “leaders” in our party.

Jerry from Chicago's avatar

You are raising a good point. We should be concentrating on purging the RINOs out of the RNC and not gloating at the misfortune of the Democrat party. Let the Dems hoist themselves on their own petard!

Jake's avatar

We Texans got rid of Cornyn. Massie is gone too. Who's next? Thune?

Cookie McCall's avatar

And Cornyn is definitely showing us all what a jerk and traitor he is on his way out the door and into obscurity. He can't leave soon enough to suit me. What an ass

WTPuck's avatar

He and Tillis - p!ssy little men.

BJ54's avatar

Yes, please. Thune is holding the whole country hostage.

CactusMatt32's avatar

Finally we got a shot on Big John Cornyn….a silver stake (spoon?) in the Bush dynasty.

[Havent seen any blog posts on what Neil Bush has been doing w his Chyna partners - facilitating all of the outsourcing to Red Chyna - since 1975 when Pappa Bush was Nixon’s Ambassador to China in 1974….busy bees….]. Cornyn might get in on some of that w his benefactors.

Retirednottired's avatar

Thune is not up until 2028, and as usual, Repubs in the Senate do not have the balls to remove him from his spot and kick him to the curb until then.

steph_gray's avatar

But... why can't we do both?

I am not planning to stop gloating at every failure of the DementoRats.

Dennis's avatar

DSA needs to form its own party and run its own ticket. DNC needs to grow a pair and make that happen.

Amy's avatar

Like all Communist/Socialist political leaders, the DSA can’t survive (live according to the lifestyle they’ve become accustomed to) unless they’re receiving money and free housing ($M homes, natch) from someone else or some group that has the dough. 🤷🏼

WTPuck's avatar

Like Marx, deadbeat grifters, every one.

Brian LeMay's avatar

Exactly; the Dims have always sucked at fundraising . All their funds came from fraud , extortion , kickbacks , and USAID .

Mike Smyth's avatar

Democrats need to grow a spine and kick the DSA out. "They are not Democrats. They are communists and are not welcome in the Democrat Party." Unfortunately, there are too many communists already holding office for them to do that.

Sam Prentice's avatar

Democrats haven't been Democrats since the 1960s when they lost their soul.

Retirednottired's avatar

Since 1963, when they killed their own President for being too moderate, and not sufficiently war-mongering.

WTPuck's avatar

Maybe earlier. Truman era, possibly.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Unfortunately????????

Kirk Watson's avatar

Got to be careful with RINO. People screaming that have gotten a colorado Gov candidate who has no money and a ton of undesirable qualities. Just like Dan Maes back in 2010. There are Republicans who just want power even if it's over a burning husk of a party. I know of several.

Playswithneedles's avatar

The DSA just wants power even if it’s over a burning husk of a country. And if they get that power, that’s exactly what this country will become.

Been there, seen that. The Socialist Republic of Romania, 1983-1986.

WTPuck's avatar

It's too bad that the dinosaur media refuses to cover those with real life experience with communist and/or islamic dictatorships. Besides you, there are many who were stuck in or born into those circumstances with compelling stories to tell. Unfortunately, that doesn't serve the corporate media democrat totalitarian narrative.

Kirk Watson's avatar

Yes. That is true, awfully. But it's also true that there are GOP party types who want to go to the RNC and do, but give no time, effort or money. Those that get to be the state chair by yelling RINO, red meat versus reality. Buckley's most conservative "who can win" applies. If only a RINO can win in a state, I prefer them to a communist with a Nazi tattoo.

steph_gray's avatar

That really depends on who knows who can win.

PDJT has the best track record so far.

https://ballotpedia.org/Endorsements_by_Donald_Trump

m&m's avatar

Except in SC where he picked Pamela Evett. And now he has backed Darline Graham who has no experience for the job versus Ralph Norman.

CactusMatt32's avatar

Nicolas Ceausescu - that was a long slog, but a good ending, don’t think Romania has got much going for it since then, though. Being Commies was such a great experience, all the US Ivy-z and their SoSmart (SS) graduates have so much to ‘share’….candidates for ANY Federal Office should spend two 3 month stints living in ie Cuba, and say rural Haiti…[Clinton’s cannot help out on the 2nd one….]

Playswithneedles's avatar

That was a good ending. I remember spending that Christmas Day glued to the TV as it all went down and cheering when they showed video of the dictator and his even more evil wife lying dead on the frozen ground.

I haven’t been back since 1986 but hear from others that things are better - they even have McDonald’s. But the entire communist system was run on corruption and there was a huge black market. It takes a long time to dig out from under all of that. I pray that my great grandchildren won’t have to do that kind of digging here some day.

CactusMatt32's avatar

Understand NATO is building huge airbase in Romania.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Shrugged's avatar

Each party has an internal stress crack. Ours is MAGA against NEOCONS and the left is JFK Democrats against socialist-communists.

I like it that our newly influential MAGA segment is returning us to Revolutionary Constitutionalism vs. their communist segment taking the Dems to Hell in a hand basket.

Jake's avatar

I don't suppose the Trumpsters killing USAID and other grifting NGO's has had any impact on the Dems cash flow??

Dems will still vote Dem. We are fighting for the independents in the middle.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

Yes, the precious independents who don't know who or what they are on any given day.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

An independent has the brain of oatmeal sitting on a spine of cooked angel hair pasta imho .

Valoree Dowell's avatar

There may be one reading this, or overhearing in the coffee shop or behind you in line at the co-op. Leave the insults to the D’s. Give them something to vote for. We need every vote.

Sam Prentice's avatar

Ridiculous that our elections are determined by people who don't know who they are or what time it is on any given day. An "informed" electorate who are so busy they need to mail in their ballot which they forgot to sign and didn't mail until the day after election day. That is why we needed to extend the timeframe for how late they can be received and still count.

WTPuck's avatar

My ignorance may be showing, but I don't recall the word "convenient" showing up in the Constitution even once. If you can't be bothered to make an effort, don't vote.

Albert P. Sweeney's avatar

Happy Friday fellow Surber-ites!!

When all your money and your message goes out blaming the white man for everything, embracing the mentally ill as your main constituents, and tearing down your opponents instead of developing ideas and policy that will help this nation, this is how you end up.

Flat Broke.

Kind of like a meth head who thinks they have their shit together.

Ahh…watching the DSA eat the DNC. It gets no better than this.

It’s what losers do.

May GOD Almighty continue to bless and protect President Donald J. Trump and these United States of America!

Valoree Dowell's avatar

Sadly, the dsa won’t be finished when it swallows the dnc. That’s just the appetizer. Who’s money do you think will pour in—suddenly—to reinvigorate it? Don’t be seduced by “broke.” It’s a fake pass.

MLR's avatar

Why haven’t we heard more about how ActBlue, one of the major dumocrat fund raisers that has taken illegal foreign donations and laundered millions of dollars by fake small donations by little old ladies? Maybe that criminal activity has no longer been able to fund the criminal party and that’s why Martin is in trouble. He hasn’t found a work around as yet.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

MLR, you are in the lode on dem fund raising woes and if Bessent and Co. continue we may see prosecutions finally. Follow the money is Bessents mantra and zen imho.

steph_gray's avatar

I’m still hoping to see action on the ActBlue fraud.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

ActBlue has been exposed for their illegal activities, but nothing has happened - yet.

Reddog's avatar

No thing will happen ….ever. Look at SPLC. Still in business.

Valoree Dowell's avatar

Yep. The stories are to tip the scales. Voter turnout is the key. And if these stories make serious folks stay home “oh my vote isn’t needed, the dems are broke on the ropes running scared…” we’ll get skunked.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

I keep reading that voter enthusiasm is high for the DEM's but low for the right. I don't get why we have lazy voters on our side. Don't they get how important the upcoming midterms are. Musk had pledged to spend 200M on the "get out the vote" ground game for the right - hope that wakes some folks up.

steph_gray's avatar

The people on our side have jobs. Just sayin'.

Most still manage to vote anyway. PDJT would not have won the Presidency three times without them.

Reddog's avatar

At one time I wouldnt have bern worried but there are just too many apathetic people today who dont vote and just whine about the outcome. So Im worried. The media is still running cover for Dems. They are truly hopeless.

steph_gray's avatar

Thanks for the “yet.”

Reddog's avatar

Take a deep breath, and don’t hold it. Nothing will happen.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Patience grasshopper !

Reddog's avatar

Marlan, get real. Its the GOP, not the Dems. All show, no go.

Doug's avatar

"Nothing will happen." Just ask Fauci.

Grumpy Oldman's avatar

The Nazi/Communists ain’t broke.

With $hit4brain$ Briben & his drunk, junkie sons grift & graft of Ukraine money, rob them of all their ill gotten gains.

Then hit up the Clinton Crime Family Foundation for 10% of the $2,000,000,000.00 Slick Hillie stole from our military during her stint as Sexretary of State.

Then move on over to Fauxcahontas Warren, Hemorrhoid Sanders, Gruesome Newsom & the Zombie Apocalypse for another 10% of their grift.

Hell, take all of George Soros’ money. He already funds the DSA’s Sturmabteilung anyway.

Richard Luthmann's avatar

Money alone does not win elections. Hillary had it. Kamala had it. Trump beat both the machine and the checkbook. But financial collapse tells you something about confidence. Donors can smell rot. The DNC’s real problem is not Ken Martin’s temper or debt load. It is that the party has no coherent answer to Trump except hysteria, no economic message except redistribution, and no moral center strong enough to resist its DSA wing. The Democratic Party wanted to bankrupt America with communist ideas. Fittingly, it may bankrupt itself first.

steph_gray's avatar

Good points, but you misspelled "bloody communism" as "redistribution."

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Simple THEFT would do, too.

steph_gray's avatar

Very true. Theft is the basis of that ideology.

But I also like to highlight the fact that the blood letting is almost 100% sick&evil DSA radicals at the moment. Everyone possible needs to see it and know.

Shrugged's avatar

China . . . Soros . . . WEF . . Somebody will slip them some funding with strings and promises, of course.

Valoree Dowell's avatar

And overconfident conservatives. It’s ours to lose.

Tmitsss's avatar

Ouch! “Money talks about as well as Fauci did this week at the Capitol.”

Dennis's avatar

Money talks. Martin walks. But hey, folks, it’s Friday. Who’s planning to have a better weekend than Ken Martin? 🤦‍♂️

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Amen, Dennis. It's a powerful strength to be able to keep one's perspective, and enjoy the gift of Life we have been given.

Reddog's avatar

For starters here, I’d like to point out that if you have $18m in debt and $16m in assets, you are not just $2m in debt, you are $18m in debt because in this case, they do not intend to use the $16m to pay down their debt, they are spending it to keep daily operations going. Intent or ability to pay is not the same as actually paying. Second, the Dems are in this fix for a variety of reasons, but I submit the biggest is the failure of their ideology to actually be able to govern and inspire people. The rise of the Socialists is a perfect example. So that horse left the barn a decade ago. Mr Martin just happens to be the Captain when the ship finally hits the iceberg they SHOULD have seen coming. I don’t for a minute believe the polls that say the Dems are positioned to retake the Senate, even if the GOP Senates performance this year deserves it. If Trump can finally crush Iran and they capitulate, people will see the cost of fuel go down quickly and that will decide the midterms. As for Mr Martin and the DNC, the party reaped what they have sewn.

BJ54's avatar

Did they use a Singer to sew that?

Reddog's avatar

No likely one made in china.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Their sewing is just sow-sow.

steph_gray's avatar

Quite the cat poll today.

I avoided the obvious choice today so as not to give the enemy ideas.

Those shirts might sell out. 😳

Greg Martin's avatar

Nah, that would require capitalism and hard work.

James Wills's avatar

My ex-wife used to say, "They say to never kick a man when he's down; in point of fact, that's the BEST time to kick him." Sometimes you talk too much, and when the inevitable divorce came, I was ready for her.

The problem with conservatives is that they are basically good people. Although they are used to being dealt with in the most raw and vicious terms, when they have power they typically hang fire, forgive, and forget.

Nonsense. The Democrat party, with boxcars of help from gutless RINOs, when in power runs through its opponents - and ordinary citizens - like sh*t through a goose, and now, in their nadir, is the time to kick them. This nation is beset with enemies foreign and domestic, and the price for not doing one's duty is to lose the Greatest Nation That Ever Was.

It is time to grind the Democrat party into dust, mix it with salt, and bury it five yards deep. The Whigs yearn, I'm sure, for some company. Now's the time to give it to them. Vote early and often.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Your closing line seems to encourage election fraud.

EODMom's avatar

It seems pretty stereotypical that the democommunistas expect someone else to supply their money. But it’s also clear that all of them have the attitude of “just win baby.” They don’t care pretty or elegant. Just win. I’m glad that Musk is looking at his investment in Texas and is willing to put his money into election action to protect it.

Amy's avatar

I like democommunists! How about DemComs? Or DemoComs?

EODMom's avatar

Since the CCP is funding them DemComs works very well. China knows it can’t beat us militarily it is deploying other also reliable means. Revolution loves chaos and that’s what they are sowing.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

I am actually very proud that Americans on the Right have so far held their fire and not started a violent Civil War. We want to protect and grow America, not tear it apart unnecessarily in a bloody Civil War. If it becomes necessary at some point to take further action, so be it, but so far the Dems have done well at shooting themselves in their own feet, which is only accelerating with the visible rise of the "Democratic Socialists" (i.e., hardcore Communists).
