The most interesting story for me is about judges blocking DOGE and the Trumpster. Trumps team knew this would happen. Looks like they've set up the judges to be spanked badly by the Supremes. The result of which will be the banning of low level judges issuing nationwide injunctions. This of course will put an oak stake in the heart of Democrat Lawfare. The Trumpster is disrupting Dem funding with taxpayer funds. He's hamstrung funding of the fake news MSM. He will destroy activist judges. The impact of Trump and DOGE on American politics is Biblical....

Yes, but we'll see if the Supremes do anything to stop the flow of lower court sludge from the lawfare crowd. All eyes are on Roberts:

It isn’t the SCOTUS job to discipline or remove lower court judges. That lies with the president and or congress. They interpret law based on the constitution.

Between Roberts and the fat man Bill Barr, the only thing that makes sense is extreme skeletons. The IC has these two wrapped around their little pinkies.

Expand full comment
Reddog's avatar

I don’t come to same conclusion on the two. Barr is a product of the incestual relationship in DC for sure. He always tried to walk a line that didn’t upset he longtime linkage with both parties. That is an impossible task when you are AG. But Roberts is just a over rated RINO who stays quiet rather than prove he is way over rated. I think his opinions show someone who is not an originalist and who does not have a deep understanding of the constitution.

Expand full comment
Adorable Deplorable's avatar

Have you ever read his speech to the graduating class of law students at Notre Dame in 2019? Hard to reconcile Barr as just another Swamp creature after reading. He is compromised.

Expand full comment
TeaPartyGal's avatar

This sounded intriguing, so I found the speech and have saved it to read in depth another time. (It's long.) But the theme is religious freedom, and he seems to be emphasizing the need for a moral rebirth in our country. From this initial glance, he doesn't sound like a swamp creature. But haven't read it all yet.

That would be so sad if true. His bench behaviour certainly suggests someone with addiction or something similar in their history. His work doesn’t live up to his potential, as they say of 6, 7, 12, 18 year old boys.

The US government has the proof and they continue to hide it. Make it public and it will be as astounding as finding out about USAID.

My thoughts exactly. But if the Chief Justices name is on the list as many have speculated, perhaps the list stays under wraps for a while. Just saying.

I think the timing of Trump's priorities has been wise. First, he's focused on gaining operational control of the "right now" actions of the bureaucracy (like firing that FEMA Chief today because they sent $59 million to the NY hotels 4 days ago contrary to Trump's orders).

It is sure going to be exciting as time progresses, as he works down the priorities list.

Imagine thinking the Main Stream (ene)Media was independent over the last couple of decades. Sadly, most of the folks that have been unaware of MSM duplicity will remain ignorant, since I doubt David Muir, Kristen Welker, whoever the prominent spokesholes at the Communist Broadcasting System are, Rachel Madcow, the mad cows at The View, or anyone associated with Government Media - can we start calling it by its rightful name now? - will be reporting the truth about their own state-supported funding any time soon. It's a hard thing to face--that your primary belief system was false. It takes alot of courage, and alot of humility. It is a huge blow to their fundamental self-esteem for them to admit they were "taken in". So if we just beat on them with "you were wrong and I was right", we drive them into a stubborn defensive position that makes it harder for them to make the conversion.

That's why I sound like a broken record, saying we have to stand by these folks with kindness and respect, offering support, not venting our anger. (I'm talking about Democratic voters, not the thieves who've run this long scam.)

And actually, we, too, were at one time "taken in". (Well, I don't think Don Surber was EVER taken in.) But most of us became alert to all this over time--and it did take all of us quite a while for the shock to wear off and we began to realize the situation. So WE got to adjust to this gradually. Our Democratic friends are probably overwhelmed with all this coming at them now. And we need to appreciate that our Democratic friends were the TARGET of a manipulative "psyops" that worked hard to convince them that WE were stupid and racist and that THEY were virtuous and smart for being liberals.

The majority of my extended family is liberal. So this is a further incentive to maintain the bridges between us, instead of merely disparage them for being wrong on politics.

It would be hard to believe that Trump didn't know all these law suits and court injunctions would happen. My guess is he has welcomed it. It’s all part of the dismantling of the deep state. He knows Roberts isn’t on his side but he most likely knows how to get to Roberts. Trump didn’t spend the four years out of office twiddling his thumbs. He was there, knew the interworking of the government and has planned all of this for his return. Which by the way he knew would happen. There was nobody on the Democrats bench that had a snowball’s chance in Hell of beating him in 2024. It has been three weeks and look what he has done. The next two years and beyond are going to go pretty much the same way. I have a gut feeling that 2026 will go our way too, because Trump and his administration will have exposed all the underhanded dealing of the Democrats. Donald Trump is going to be one of the most consequential Presidents this country has ever seen. Washington, Lincoln, Trump.

Putin isn't a good man, nor was Frank Costello or Carlo Gambino. However, Trump recognizes who they actually are and how to negotiate with them because he is an 'operator' as well.

Trump has had to bribe politicians in NY for decades because that is the game that is played and I am very grateful we have an actual operator in charge. It is why they have tried to kill him.

On that subject I agree with Tucker(paraphrased with Piers Morgan): "You can divine intent out of someone's actions." and the actions were completely outlined on J13, 2024.
