So many conservatives are stupid. Like you said, Maher sometimes says something we all agree with and the stupid conservatives think he is one of us. He is not. Liberals are liberals. A leopard does not change his spots.

"Normal" for the Democrats and many Republicans is the facade. By "normal," Maher means that politicians still go about enriching themselves and neglecting the general citizenry, but they do it without writing "mean" tweets. Maher is a Democrat before he's a liberal (much like Mitt Romney is a Republican before he's a conservative). I don't see the things Maher says that conservatives agree with as good marketing, but instead attempts to wake his party up to the things that will turn off liberal and libertarian independents and thereby cost them elections. Of course, ironically for Maher and something you can take comfort in, the situation he helped create has gotten beyond the power curve, and rather than listen, the "woke" and "woke-sympathetic" are turning on him. So just make some popcorn and sit back and watch the show.

As for "drag queens," the irony is that the concept of gender fluid and drag queen can't coexist. Drag queens *cannot* be anything other than men, by the classic definition of men. A woman cannot be a drag queen. The whole raison d'etre of the drag queen is to be a man dressed as a flamboyant, often hypersexualized woman. So if anyone subscribes wholeheartedly and depends wholeheartedly on the idea that there are in fact only two genders and that they are capable of being highly stereotyped and fixed in their roles and costumes, it is "drag queens." They would not make sense otherwise. And that, folks, is why the alphabet crowd will also eventually eat themselves.

The article said:

Maher once said, “I do think the patriotic thing to do is to critique my country. How else do you make a country better but by pointing out its flaw.

I say:

I never have thought Maher was humorous. There is nothing wrong with critiquing my country. There is plenty wrong with a lying idiot, something homosexuals are known for, to claim they are objective when all they want is attention.

While the 1770's might sound nice, I don't want to go back to chopping wood with an axe and hunting game with a flint lock rifle.

Really don't want to row across the Delaware in a snow storm either.

"Yes, I get that once or twice on his show each week he says something that conservatives may agree with, but that’s just good marketing. I am not so needy to accept a few crumbs while he gives loaves away to libs each week."

The moments that Maher possesses and expresses the clarity of non-leftists (oka normal folks with common sense) while seeming to be more frequent, they are notable not because he's been red-pilled (maybe he has been, maybe not), but because it's coming from one of their own, it's a blow (however soft) for our side. As another subscriber put it, he's a Democrat, first, and he's trying to save his party from the militant woke. Perhaps - I still place very little value on ANYTHING he says publicly.

If the next election is administered equitably, I don't think Biden has a prayer in a contest v Trump - or DeSantis. But, the last one was stolen in broad daylight. They know how to do it, now - and they know they'll never face the consequences.

In today's world there is no difference between Bill Maher and Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan. They claim one thing and do another. Funny how the ONE guy who did what he said for the most part was pushed out of office...

I have never been more passionately against our completely disconnected ruling class which includes Maher.

Americans do not deserve to be governed by deeply weird, nauseously woke people who hate George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Dr. Seuss, and Mr. Potato Head.”

Attaboy, Senator Kennedy! That is called it tellin' like it is!

As for Maher, just because he says something that resembles sanity once in a blue moon does not mean he is anything but a crazy leftie loon.

Ah the 50's. You could tell the boys from the girls, just by the hair style. Crew cuts, and Bouffants. As for Maher? Bring back Dangerfied, and Carson.

Mister Don, you do yeoman's work in gathering these proofs of communist perversion. Did godless Vladimir Lenin really say, "Communists are dead men on furlough?" If he didn't, he believed it.

When, in 1962, the Supreme Court of The United States prohibited the Ten Commandments and the Lord's Prayer in U.S. public schools, the slide into godless communist violence and perversion began. Communist monsters have infiltrated and subverted the American Way of Life.

Here's a substack article by a person named Naomi Wolf. She asks, "Have the ancient gods [of evil] returned?" https://naomiwolf.substack.com/p/have-the-ancient-gods-returned

Bill Maher has marred our beautiful America lock stock and barrel, for decades. He is arrogant and full of himself. I have no use for him. Period! End of discussion.

I feel conflicted. It is important to call out the degeneracy, hypocrisy, and evil of the left. But why write an article that just amplifies the voice of their spokespeople?

Bill Maher and Greg Gutfeld got together recently in a podcast and interviewed each other for over an hour while smoking weed and throwing back some lovely adult beverages. I really enjoyed the "normality" watching them, I think they were both surprised they really liked each other. Enjoy :)
