3. How many times is the nation Israel mentioned in the Quran? (ans. 47)

I barely made it to ordination which is the equivalent of a 4-year degree because of my AADD squirrel? And my rabid love of being outdoors and deep seated hatred of sitting at a desk. Other than that I'm neutral on that subject. May I also mention that my daughters were debt free when they were married at a young age and their Catholic husbands were a long way from being debt-free.
My daughters (28 and 30) went to catholic school, graduated college in 3 1/2 years, moved away and are both married and own homes. Very rare in this age. My Ex and I must have done something right! Very proud papa indeed

I attended Smith College in Massachusetts and as a Massachusetts Democrat at the time (I’ve since got religion!), I made Jimmy Carter my first Presidential vote as did so many young people at the time catapulting him into office. On Inauguration Day, the school administration decided to honor Carter, a peanut farmer, by serving peanut pancakes for breakfast, peanut soup for lunch and some other peanut concoction for dinner. If I remember correctly they used something like 20,000 pounds of peanuts that day. No one died. There was not even a whisper of ‘allergies’.
Now if one child has an allergy, all of the other children have to change their behaviour for that one child. The problems that these kids have start a a very young age.
After the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and killed about 30% more people than Hamas killed on Oct 7, 2023, we could have said, OK, we'll trade land/water for peace. Just give us 4 months and we will withdraw all of our troops and personnel from the Philippines and the Western Pacific and you can have everything west of Hawaii for keeps. But we didn't. We engaged in total war against the Japanese with Unconditional Surrender our battle cry and killed 3,000,000 Japs, including 700,000 civilians in bombing raids. By comparison, Israel is incredibly restrained.
