Abbott is applying the logic of "Make them live by their own rules".

I hope the left drowns in them.

Conspicuous by her absence in your options is Kari Lake. There is still a sliver of a chance that she could become the lawful governor of Arizona, as they have none now.

We Texans are happy that Abbott has done some smart things, but disappointed that he hasn't done enough of them. He let some opportunities slip by him. Tucker has noticed this as well.

While I agree Abbott’s (and DeSantis’) illegals transports have accomplished much in highlighting many of the harsher realities of our open borders dangers to this country, I still feel Abbott could have done more on his own state’s border to impede their influx, I.e. build his own wall, post the National Guard there, send them back to Mexico instead of into the country. I don’t really know how viable any of those things might be, but they can’t be any more “illegal” than what Biden and Mayorkas are doing. There needs to be a showdown at the border.

And even so, we now stand at approximately 7 million people - or more - who have infiltrated into the country, and we have NO IDEA who most of those of those people are, where they are from, or what we have unleashed here.

Aiding in this destruction, are multiple NGO’s who are orchestrating this surge, most from our country and others from other countries (including Catholic Charities), USING OUR TAX DOLLARS, giving away phones with specialized apps and full color brochures with maps, directions and instructions at checkpoints all along Central America, guiding the mass influx.

It is incomprehensibly lawless, evil and extraordinarily dangerous.

It is an absolute National Security Crisis if ever there was one.

Trump said he was going to institute the most massive deportation effort ever when he’s re-elected. Your idea of relocating all the FBI to the border is genius for two reasons: it not only increases the manpower there, but it also resolves the challenge in just outright firing Federal employees. Because when you offer them “a choice” of a different position they have to either take IT, or voluntarily resign. That settles that big problem right there, so it would be a two-fer!

. The smaller the government, the freer we are. Is there something in the first sentence that no one understands?

I didn't vote in today's poll, but if you put Kari Lake's name up there, I will be the first to vote for her.

I would pick Noem, but I chose RFK Jr in the poll as this would overcome ALL ballot harvesting. RFK Jr. just went to the border and went on camera with Tucka to report that Trump was RIGHT on the border; any man that admits he was wrong in public setting deserves a look even though he still appears to be an eco-terrorist...

Not knocking Camp Surber here, just opining, but Abbott is establishment - why the hell has he not shut or policed the border? Frankly, imho, this is an invasion and should be treated as such; the cartels are either paying our politicians off or threatening them which means us while raping women and collecting billions.

Ken Paxton is the one to be celebrated as the establishment is working to impeach this duly elected officer against the will of the People; the Texas statehouse is majority 'republican' with 12 democrats posing as republicans working against the People.

The Xiden regime has sued Texas to remove the buoys they put in the Rio Grande and are selling off unused pieces of the wall.

Sadly, the few democrats who have been hit over the head with reality aren’t enough to get the corrupt regime to stop this invasion.

The Chamber’s beloved RINOs in congress don’t want to stop this either.

Re: the Poll: NONE of the above.

I still have Sarah Sanders as my top choice, though I don’t like to remove an effective Red Governor. I haven’t decided yet who else might be a good choice, though it needs to be someone who “understands” the scope of the wicked DC swamp and is battle ready for the fight set before us.

It's called The Great Replacement Theory:

'The “great replacement” theory, in simple terms, states that welcoming immigration policies — particularly those impacting nonwhite immigrants — are part of a plot designed to undermine or “replace” the political power and culture of white people living in Western countries.'

The opposition to the invasion of the illegals has NOTHING to do with race or white supremacy.

RFK - pro-abortion, no thanks.

Vivek - ties to big pharma, no thanks.

Noem - was a swamp-dweller in Congress, no thanks.

that fat f*** (as Tony Soprano would call him) - you've got to be kidding!

A Florida neighbor owns a charter bus company. Nicaraguans have just purchased 4 of his buses to shuttle illegals from Central America to the American border. No more long, dangerous trips by foot. It's now scheduled service.

Abbott is making the Democrat virtue signalers walk it like they talk it. They can’t. And it’s a good lesson to all - Dems are all hat and no cattle. Stand up to them. They will fold faster than you think.

But here’s the other side off this. If Abbott had Trump sized cojones, if any of the RINO governors, who are all bought off by the donor class, actually cared, they’d call out the national guard and prevent entry to the USA. This is an illegal invasion. And none of our “leaders “will do a thing to stop it. They are all in on it. Abbott included. Losers.

Trump 2024.

"'Woburn mayor Scott Galvin said by Friday there were about 150 families living in the city’s hotels, an arrangement he called unsustainable for his 40,000 constituents.'"

Boo-freakin'-hoo.

"Mayor Bass said, 'It is evil to endanger the lives of vulnerable migrants by sending a bus with families and toddlers on board to a city that at the time was under an unprecedented tropical storm warning.'"

How the hell would she know from evil? By the way, it isn't - doesn't everyone dream of living in California, just like the song by The Mamas & the Papas?

"Amnesty International reported, 'An estimated 6 out of 10 migrant women and girls experience sexual violence, allegedly prompting some people smugglers to demand that women receive contraceptive injections ahead of the journey...'"

What gentlemen they are...as Mary Clayton sang on that song by the Rolling Stones:

"Rape, murder, it's just a shot away

It's just a shot away"

"Mayor Eric Adams claimed in stark terms that New York City was being destroyed by an influx of 110,000 asylum seekers from the southern border and said that he did not see a way to fix the issue."

WAH!

"[He] said, 'Let me tell you something New Yorkers, never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to — I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City.'"

It sounds like what the mayor needs is a wahmbulance.

"Barely 1% of the city’s population is illegal aliens."

Eric Adams is a pussy.

"But the hero in all this is Governor Abbott."

It's nice that there is, at least, one achievement of the Abbott administration of which we, in Texas, can be proud. God knows there is precious little else.

I opted for Noem the last time her name was an option, but I'll choose Vivek this time because he's the "ideoligical" heir to Trump's MAGA - his candidacy could force a fissure so great in the GOPe that history repeats itself, and a new party displaces the Democrat-lite Republican Party of old.

Imagine these politically homeless RINOs having to go up against genuinely blue Democrats, and losing primary elections in spectacular fashion.

Yes, Vivek has made it clear he has no interest in serving as veep - but only because he hasn't been asked. It's tough to turn down the opportunity to be one heartbeat - or one bullet - away from the office of the president.

Lefties never, ever like paying a personal cost for the evils they create. Lefties have been virtue signaling with their sanctuary city declarations because that was not supposed to have a real cost attached. The brilliance of Abbott's tactic is that he is delivering the border and the problem they created into the laps of those virtue signalers. They are crying foul because they are being held responsible for their creation. OMG reality has bitten.

It surely is amazing the contortions libs go through to blame anyone but themselves for after wish hangovers. They praise the illegals as brave and courageous for making the journey but then demand they stay at your house.I have actually called out some libs I worked with on the homeless and migrant problems asking how many they took in to their homes.Response is always none but we must do more as a society to which my reply is put up or shut the piehole.Great post on hypocrisy from libs and rinos .Poll needed a nota option. We are winning thanks to you and fellow clarions ablare.
