Trump is building back more better!

Alan's avatar

What the Guardians of Decay are really upset about: they cannot skim tens if not hundreds of millions off the project like they did with Obama's $370 million basketball court and renovations, compliments of the U.S. taxpayer.

DeniseVB's avatar

All taxpayer funded. I'd like to see an audit of that. Other than Michelle's "WH Kitchen Garden" and a plaque to honor herself, some playground equipment for the girls, where did that 370 million go? Not to mention maintaining all of them by the NPS.

Didn't the White House require maintenance, carpet replacement (dogs were never house broken) and fumigation after the Obamas moved out. I think 6 months worth before the Trump family could move in.

Retirednottired's avatar

“Where did that 370 million go?” Indeed. Even at the WH, you could build a full size basketball court for under 1 million, so who got the rest? The Obama’s suddenly became rich after being in the WH, so maybe we need to audit their funds….

Gail W's avatar

SO true!! I cannot love this president enough. 🫶🫶🫶

VICKI's avatar

Just when you think he can't top himself, HE DOES!!!! The left is going apoplectic hour by hour.

Gail W's avatar

And the left has earned 100000x the misery they are experiencing!!

Suzie's avatar

Hah! Sticking Bill and Monica in there along with some other hideous Democrat Whitehouse antics was chef’s kiss!

Deb Hill's avatar

The Muslim Brotherhood visit.🎯

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

See the op-ed by Chelsea [ Hubble face ] Clinton for a few laughs.

VICKI's avatar

Where was that? That poor girl got her mothers and fathers looks and not the good parts.

Shrugged's avatar

Mostly her father’s looks - and it wasn’t Bill.

Amy's avatar

Awesome! And hilarious!

While I love the idea of reporters in the dungeon, I think that a shooting range would be the ultimate FU to the left. The sound of gunfire blasting out over the streets of DC would give the lefties apoplexy. Plus, it would give the Secret Service an on site place to practice. Win-win-win.

The Outsider's avatar

At night, it just might sound like the usual background noise in DC.

Sam Prentice's avatar

The dungeon will only serve as a holding area where the journalists are stored until they are needed upstairs at the shooting range's "Running Turkey Range" to just act naturally.

Greg's avatar

And a place to move the dungeon inhabitants to make room for new inhabitants.

DeniseVB's avatar

That was my pick. It was a practical one too. Staff training for concealed carry which should be legal for them. Also save money for the SS going to (I think) Maryland for training. Put a whole mini facility in the basement.

Gail W's avatar

Me too!! It got my vote!

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Exactly what occurred to me.

WTPuck's avatar

That's why it's my choice.

Chef R.T.'s avatar

If/when the Democrats return to power they will certainly hold a state ball in the big, beautiful ballroom to celebrate. And on that night “You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.”

Jake's avatar

Bill and Hillary will steal the silverware and chandeliers on their way out like last time.

CactusMatt32's avatar

Trump’s agreement on the BallRoom w/b if the President is not a MAGA supporter, the Facility Access License of the Trump Annex is $10 million a day, and a $50 million bond must be paid so the BallRoom is not damaged.

Gail W's avatar

I would LOVE IT if DJT somehow indelibly included his name or initials into the ballroom that the POS leftists couldn't remove w/o demolishing the entire thing which I doubt they'd do as they couldn't get it built in less than their term and wouldn't want to hear all the construction for the duration. They are such despicable morons.

Suzie's avatar

Hopefully the Democrats ever returning to power will never happen. Hope springs eternal.

Chef R.T.'s avatar

Your terms are acceptable.

VICKI's avatar

Dems return? Bite your tongue....gross. But those low lifes should be forced to use a tent since they don't approve of the ballroom.

UncleWiggly's avatar

It's past time to stop repeating lies, "Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot by his supporters". And start telling the truth, "Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot by the FBI"..

William Coulter's avatar

His next project should be helping those in both the Hawaiian fires and the Palisades fires rebuild.

Get both Hawaii and Clownifornia into the toss up catagory for future elections.

Denver Gregg's avatar

provide them with assistance in temporarily moving to places that are less insane and assistance is suing the living daylights out of the apparatchiks who stand in the way of rebuilding. civil RICO to get around official immunity.

Gail W's avatar

Except the left would immediately blackhole the stories. 🫤

WTPuck's avatar

But the affected people there on the ground would spread the word far and wide. Can't beat a citizen reporter.

Steve (recovering lawyer)'s avatar

Sadly, this is an impossibility because both states are controlled by democrat politicians and are completely moribund economically because of the massive overregulation and interference by their current governments. One simply cannot build anything in California or Hawaii without government interference.

John Wiles's avatar

Sorry, I hit "Dungeons for Reporters" before I thought it through. The American people, one of whom is me, don't want the Reporters in jail; we just want them fired and people who actually "report" the news (and let us draw our own opinions) put in their place. Is that too much to ask? Having someone tell me what happened without prejudice or trying to explain it from one viewpoint or another? I don't care what some athlete says, or some actor, or most of the stupid politicians ('stupid' being a limiting word to include AOC, Schumer, Schiff, Newsome, and the rest). I just need to know what happened - Trump is building a ballroom; Trump is sending rockets to Ukraine; OR Trump is not sending rockets to Ukraine; the US agrees with Russia on this, or China, or North or South Korea, or England, or we don't. I can read and obviously write, so there are still enough brain cells left to have my own opinion once given the facts. Again, is that too much to ask - "Just the facts, ma'am," Friday would say, and draw his own conclusions. That's me. I bet it's you, too. I know it's Don.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

I jumped on that choice right away. I pictured reporters getting out of line at briefings & being sent down to do some time in the dungeon depending on the severity of the infraction.

No's avatar

I want them sent to Cuba, or at least halfway.

John Wiles's avatar

The communists there are always looking for media that supports them.

Jeremy R's avatar

Half way works! But to be safe, let's send them halfway to Liberia or halfway to China.

Steve (recovering lawyer)'s avatar

Your problem, dear sir, is your confusion about there being any "reporters" left in the field formerly known as "the news." They are all "journalists" now and as such they are burdened with the duty to shape the national cousciousness rather than merely telling us poor, illiterate, slobbering masses what is happening. They believe with all their hearts (as well as what little amount of mind they possess) that it is their duty and destiny to shape and mold us into their enlightened vision of proper thought, word and deed.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

This is why I call them urinalists as they piss on your leg while telling you it is raining.

Jeremy R's avatar

Many of them are journo lists who colude to frame things so as to shine the best light on their communist plots, or barring that option, to bury the story as long as possible then frame it as "old news".

John Wiles's avatar

Hmmmmm, good point. However, a journalist is, by definition, a person who writes for newspapers, magazines, or news websites or prepares news to be broadcast. It does not say they are permitted to give their opinions or perspectives or those of their editors or others. That's just something they have chosen to do and hide behind some name so they can be a**h***s.

Retirednottired's avatar

Agree with all you say, but my heart still yearns to hear the wails and moans of hack journalists suffering in a cold, dank, rat infested dungeon deep under the sub-basements of the White House. The thought warms me.

Jeremy R's avatar

If they were in the swankiest accomodations, it would be rat infested. As for the real rodents, don't they deserve better than to be caged with those liberal vermin?

John Wiles's avatar

Maybe, just maybe, without a job and certainly no REAL life skills, they would most likely wind up in a dungeon-like setting, sub-basement. If your only skill is slinging s***, and you fail at that, you don't have much further to fall.

Jeremy R's avatar

I had to refresh my memory this evening and read the comment you were replying to. Why?

I saw "without a job and certainly no REAL life skills... Sub-basement... Slinging shit, and all I could think of was the crop of keyboard commandos spending time playing games and chatting on discord, and I thought how is this a conversation about Tyler Robinson?

Sad that your comment exactly describes so many people on the left.

Jeremy R's avatar

Don doesn't have a "just the facts" Friday, and while he does compile just the facts ON Friday, he releases it at 0600 on Saturday as highlights. (With Saturday snark at no extra charge.)

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

If Donald Trump can come with a tariff on boxed wines shipped interstate maybe the AWFLS would exchange protesting for relief lol.

MartyB's avatar

I’d like to suggest combining the proposed shooting range and the press dungeon into the same facility. You could reduce the National debt, if ever so slightly, by charging the public for range time. That’s one of the only reasons I’d ever return to the District of Criminals. Who says I don’t hate the press enough?

Albert P. Sweeney's avatar

President Donald J.. Trump could add a wing to St. Jude’s and the liberals would cry about it.

I have found out in the past few days just how willfully ignorant some of my liberal friends are.

I just don’t care anymore what the left has to say. They have doubled down on violent rhetoric since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. They will not be happy until …. Well, let’s be honest, the “Karens” of the world, regardless of which of 85 genders they think they are, will never be happy.

James Wills's avatar

Funny you should say that. I have completely quit talking to them and so has everybody I know. It's a waste of good breath. I just tell them, "We tried to work with you and you don't want it. Fine. We'll just do it by force."

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Totally understandable frustration; but we're not going to solve anything by cutting off communication. It is also a form of surrender to the Left.

The liberals are at a breaking point. So they are descending into maximum offensiveness. This can drive us away, OR we can recognize "the darkest time is just before the dawn". More than ever, they need to feel our steady, patient, love and respect for them (their true, God-created selves)--this is holding the door open and building a bridge (whatever metaphor you like) for them to become red-pilled and walk away from the disastrous Left.

No one is beyond redemption.

There is grief and sorrow, and there is also redeeming love.

We must always stand firm in our beliefs and resolute in the defence of our families, neighbours, fellow citizens and nation.

We must never compromise with evil for the sake of expediency, but neither must we forget the injunction that while hating the sin we must love the sinner.

In the end there abide three things only: Faith that we are doing the right thing, Hope that we are doing it well, and Love, without which we would not be doing it at all.

Wow. God granted me the desires of my heart, by giving our nation a president with deep financial understanding, is causing an explosion in the mental health trade. At the same time, beyond my specific request, I am getting MAHA, which I greatly desired, because I've been irritated ever since Dr Dobson pushed McDonald's to switch the seed oils instead of beef tallow. I just took my family out for a mental health trip and ate at Popeyes, which has the world's best fries, the world's best fried chicken, and the second best biscuit in the world, behind the cheddar baked biscuits of Red lobster. In addition, I am in love with clarity and God granted my desires with the artificial intelligence boys of DOGE, Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard.

Is our future bright and Rosy? That's a mixed message, for the wheat and the tears are growing up together and won't be separated till judgment Day. Thank you for allowing me to speak my mind. Blessings on all of you.

You can readily understand Trump-haters complaining about destroying a historic part of the White House. I mean these are the same people who demonstrated their love of history by tearing down statues of historic figures all over the country.

Suzie's avatar

That would be a great video showing the rampage they went on all over the country destroying historical monuments.

Catherine Kasparian's avatar

Obama spent more when the basketball courts were added and we paid for it.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Now now, ozero was SPECIAL needs Catherine.

Catherine Kasparian's avatar

Special is one choice of words . . .

Laurie's avatar

I voted shooting range because I live surrounded by liberal nut jobs. The thought of them running around so outraged (again!) makes me smile. Imagine their 'hair hair on fire' rants!

These people are so delusional that when I showed Cousin video of Obama construction she told me it was a deep fake lol.

donald b welch's avatar

i am enjoying this ride more every day because i know that soon, the left will cause a climactic event or series of events that will shock the world.

beware and be aware.

James Wills's avatar

Ballroom blitz. Easter egg! Sweet! I'm sure of two things: Big Balls will be pleased.

Tmitsss's avatar

About that lawsuit there is a small problem https://x.com/tmitsss/status/1981497984119435737?s=46

Suzie's avatar

Well, under a normal judicial system that complaint would be thrown out for a number of those reasons. But we no longer have a normal judicial system, so we’ll see how far it gets.

Tmitsss's avatar

One simple trick! Ha! they can’t throw out our Complaint if we don’t file one! Genius !

WTPuck's avatar

The word "non-frivolous" jumped out at me before I even read the post. Case closed. (Nothwithstanding Suzie's corollary)

Tmitsss's avatar

Step one for there to be a Case and Controversy is the filing of a Complaint. No Complaint No Case. (Judicial power is limited by the Constitution. “The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity…” Article III Section 2)
