That’s good, but MAGA supporters gotta do more than that!

We all have to do whatever we can in each of our respective states and counties to GET OUT EVERY OTHER MAGA voter for EVERY election we can, ( county councils, school boards, etc) — AND TO VOTE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, until or unless early voting is eliminated!!

When Rs eschew early voting, that gives the Ds a huge advantage whereby it’s IMPOSSIBLE to make up the vote deficit on the ONE day of Election Day! Charlie Kirk was HUGELY ALL OVER THIS, (chasing ballots) in the ‘24 election!

We may not deserve him--but we need him.

Yes, we do. He can speak without a teleprompter

The so called UN is nothing more than an Islamic/Marxist enterprise dedicated to the destruction of Israel and Christianity and using American taxpayer money to do it. It is high time for the US to withdraw from the UN and form a U.N. of democracies where the citizens of each nation determine who governs them not the Islamic or Marxist dictators that rule them. DJT told it like it is as he always does!

Ronnie T.'s avatar

U.S. out of the U.N. U.N. out of the U.S.

dts3204's avatar

Move the UN HQ to Dafur, site of it is greatest achievement, with sub HQ in Rwanda.

glindarayepix's avatar

No we don’t need to withdraw from the UN any more than we needed to withdraw from Washington DC. The lesson of the Trump era is that we need to take it over and replace all the nonsense with common sense. And yesterday was an excellent start.

Birmingham's avatar

Once we let in all the countries that we did, that toothpaste is not going back in the tube. There is no way to reconstruct the United Nations to make it what its mission was originally.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

But for the US to just walk away is to surrender, and would make things worse, because these dysfunctional countries would just continue to fester in their self-reinforcing bubble. So long as we stay engaged, they have to do things like sit and listen to Trump yesterday for an hour.

I would be in favor of significant cuts in our financial support though, such as (IIRC) we pulled funding and /or withdrew from WHO because of it's COVID behavior.

Marilyn Brinley's avatar

I think the UN needs the USA more than the USA needs the UN.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Move U.N. hdqtrs. to Amsterdam so all the perverted leaders feel at home .

glindarayepix's avatar

Yes, let’s do a DOGE there. Instead of a few massive checks, let’s start paying by the program.

Ross's avatar

As someone else commented recently, the UN in New York can be closely monitored, and ritually chastised and humiliated when necessary as President Trump did yesterday.

The UN in Brussels would be much more mischievous.

No one can believe that yesterday was the end.

It was the beginning.

Bless xx

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

It has become plainly what was hidden pre PDJT. the redistribution center for U.S. taxpayer monies, to peoples who hate AMERICA !!

Shrugged's avatar

Thinking we can change other countries’ opinions (we can’t fire them), is like joining the KKK thinking we can change racist, violent members to stop lynchings. The purpose of the UN is too far beyond its original mission and its current mission is not in our best interest.

glindarayepix's avatar

The original mission was to prevent or mediate wars. The rest has all been added piecemeal, with the US nearly always picking up the tab. Some programs no doubt serve a useful purpose, but what they all have in common is that they would vanish without our financial support or at least forbearance. Among American leaders, Trump alone seems to understand that it’s time to get picky about the details.

LuAnn's avatar

Good luck with that though.

Ronnie T.'s avatar

A guy’s gotta have a dream…LOL

Ross's avatar

Precisely.

RINOS became MAGA.

the organisation is there.

Use it.

LuAnn's avatar

UN is totally and completely useless and corrupt.

Stephen Fitzmaurice's avatar

I'm so happy that someone (DJT) finally called out the UN for their BS. Not sure how it happened but the s-hole nations of the world somehow got control of this institution. Predictably, the results have ranged from total inaction on serious conflicts to aiding and abetting terrorists. This is a waste of our money and I believe we are by far the largest financial contributor to the bureaucratic disaster. Time to go!

darrell's avatar

History repeats its self over and over. If its not Christian based it turns to garbage because of the nature of man.

Gail W's avatar

I would respectfully say “Judeo-Christian based” 😇

LuAnn's avatar

Yes, Western civilization is based on Judeo-Christian values. We are lost without these values.

darrell's avatar

I would not. I would simply say Christian. Christ has only one Bride.

Gail W's avatar

Without Judaism Darrell there IS NO Christianity. So there's that.

darrell's avatar

Gail, Yes He was a Jew. Who is Christ? He is God so it's more like there wouldn't be Judaism without God or Christ. Christ has told his Church that they are to have nothing to do with the unbelieving Jews who rejected Him that they are the synagogue of Satan. Christ has only one Bride that he is coming back for. One can hold faith in Christ as an American, a Canadian, a Frenchman or an Chinaman or even an Israeli but not as a Synagog OT Jew that clings to the Talmud. There is one way, one God, One faith.

Gail W's avatar

Darrell, Let's just agree to disagree. As a secular Jewish American I find your statements abhorrent and virulently antisemitic, but I acknowledge your right in American to have them. Lucky you.

Jeremy R's avatar

Even things that start out with a good Judeo-Christian foundation get corrupted when man forgets GOD.

Fear of GOD is the beginning of wisdom.

N.Wallace's avatar

That is great. Would you mind if I used it? Not only is the first line a hilarious Yogi Bara ish zinger (deja vu all over again) but the second is the proof of God that we all need reminded of constantly.

RevMikeyMac's avatar

Jeremy R's avatar

Not only do we finance it way too much, we borrow the money we give to it and others.

The UN is Greatest Swindle Ever! You are some bureaucratic petit dictateur and some rich-ass fabulous wealthy Countries extort money from their not-willing-to-fight-to-keep-Their-money serfs….and you get 100s of Millions of dollars from them to spend, squander and waste All over the World…Every Stinkin Year!!! How great is that!! Who could Ever Imagine that????

In 2016 when Trump threw in his hat to run for the presidency I laughed at him. I'm not laughing anymore. I'm thanking my God for bringing him into the mix.

Alice Ball's avatar

Why did you laugh? I’m just curious. I was pro-Trump the minute he said the health insurance racket is bankrupting and killing people. He has been right about everything so far.

Playswithneedles's avatar

The line that brought me on board was when he was asked what he would do about ISIS and he replied, “Bomb the shit out of them.”

And he did.

LuAnn's avatar

I am Canadian but I was pro-Trump when he took on illegal immigration back in 2015 -- when it was barely allowed to be publicly talked about.

darrell's avatar

Because I thought he was a rich PLAYBOY from NY. Turns out he is the first man to set foot in DC in a loooooong time.

steph_gray's avatar

Same question, also just curious - and glad you hopped on the train.

I was on board since the first golden escalator trip.

Now we have to distinguish that great one from yesterday's, which my inner cynic simply assumes was a failed attempt to freeze our President and First Lady as potential targets.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

I liked him instantly having seen clips of him on Oprah from years before and he spoke to the common voter.

Greg's avatar

As the FBI peels back the layers of funding, they're going to find a very troubling fact. Money that went to the UN and NGOs has been used against us in this death and other violence interactions in America.

The UN is nothing more than a money laundering operation for socialists and anti America. We pay 22% of the operating expenses and 26% of special UN funds. NO LONGER.

Pull the money, quit the UN and expel them from our shores.

Gail W's avatar

Orrrr, CHARGE THEM RENT in the precise amount of what the U.S. taxpayers pay them! 🤣🤣🤣

Greg's avatar

Perhaps, but that would still support this communist enterprise. It's a socialist machine aimed at destroying the US.

Gail W's avatar

I can't disagree but if we STAY on the inside we have a chance to pull them back from the gates of hell. At least if we charge rent then it won't 'cost' us anything by being on the inside.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

And I would imagine having them on our soil makes it easier to do some electronic and other spying as they all hob-knob with eachother.

It's a rather convenient way to keep tabs on them all. "Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer."

And, it might even protect New York from a certain degree of terrorist or military attacks.

Ross's avatar

Precisely.

Looking at history great institutions that endure for centuries and millennia have periods of decay and renewal.

Look at the Catholic Church.

The British Monarchy.

The US Senate…

tzed's avatar

The UN outlived its usefulness years ago. Tear it down and turn the area into a park.

My one memory of the UN was on a class trip over sixty years ago. After our tour we went to an area across the street to have lunch. We got to witness some poor homeless person going through the trash looking for food.

steph_gray's avatar

Just goes to show it all started in the big Dim cities. At that age I never saw that.

Damn the torpedoes's avatar

We called them bums back then.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

The UN doesn't solve problems - it causes problems wherever they send their "peacekeepers".

Playswithneedles's avatar

“Somewhere in heaven, Corey Comperatore laughed and high-fived Charlie Kirk.”

That one line brought tears to my eyes. Sadness and joy combined.

Jim Murray's avatar

The escalator and teleprompter incidents are perfect metaphors for the UN. Weak and ineffective efforts generating consequences opposite to the intent of UN personnel. They generated a masterful dissertation on world affairs delivered by the man threatening everything the Left, the terrorists, and the cartels hold dear. Macron having to walk was the cherry on top of a delicious sundae of a day.

Shrugged's avatar

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but the escalator and teleprompter were intentional - and symbolic to the globalists. That is, the stopped escalator represented the globalists un-doing Trumps triumphant entrance down the escalator in 2015 and the teleprompter outage represented their shutting him up. Both were to humiliate him.

God had a better plan.

LuAnn's avatar

Amen to that, Shrugged.

Puddintaine's avatar

He always does We just have to pay attention to recognize His handiwork & respond in kind.

William Coulter's avatar

Like the League of Nations that never was the United Nations is worthless as a force for peace in the world. The corruption there is on a level that is unbelievable.

If we revalue our funding at the same levels of other countries it folds up shop.

As for a new location put it in Iceland. Remote enough to make no one want to go there and the shopping there, unlike New York, is limited.

Mike Smyth's avatar

St. Helena, Napoleon's final exile. Wind swept, cold, not fit for man. Perfect for the U.N.

Playswithneedles's avatar

Iceland is lovely. I’d prefer a really awful shiitehole country. Say, Chad or Zimbabwe.

RevMikeyMac's avatar

How about northern Greenland?

Douglas Baringer's avatar

No! We need Greenland. Don't condem Greenlanders to multi-lateral slavery.

William Coulter's avatar

My other thought was the Falkland Islands. Let Britain and Argentina duke it out over the exact location.

Gail W's avatar

Or, KEEP the UN HQ where it is, BUT START CHARGING THEM RENT!!

Shrugged's avatar

I suggest the North Pole. Santa’s a generous man and the elves will make cocoa and cookies.

Alice Ball's avatar

Hahaha, Museum of Terrazzo!!! Don, you’re almost as good as Trump himself! Every morning I think what will he do today, and laugh to myself😂🤣🔥

The Ruthless Podcast had an interview with our great Sec'y of Energy, Chris Wright yesterday. It was a terrific discussion and highlighted how LUCKY we are to have those with business backgrounds in the free market in government. Pres. Trump chief among them, but many others in his cabinet. They work fast, demand results and aren't afraid of risk...

We are blessed despite the predations of Satan (i.e. the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk and many other Antifa and criminal thugs).

N.Wallace's avatar

What ever happened to the John Birch Society? They've been saying "Get U.S. Out of the U.N." for how many years now? 50? 60?

Douglas Baringer's avatar

And they were right too. The USA must leave this sham. When we do the whole kettle of fish will just collapse of it's own corruption.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Or, China will step up and finance them and dominate/influence them easier without our interference.

Suzie's avatar

They already are.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

True, but if we leave, we give the UN on a platter to them. Like Biden did with Bagram Air Force Base.

(PS I'm super glad Trump is recently pushing to get Bagram back.)

Suzie's avatar

As for Bagram that’s just a not-so-veiled threat to China re: their nuclear sites, a’la what we did to Iran’s.

Suzie's avatar

If we leave then we shut it down here. They can go set up shop elsewhere.

In the grand scheme of life no one will even notice they’re gone. Except that life may improve for everyone everywhere exponentially.

Jim Nelson's avatar

I watched much of PDJT's speech at the UN and loved every minute of it. He is a one-man truth machine who cannot be ignored or laughed at any longer. The UN is a cess pool of corrupt tinpot dictators and globists who couldn't organize a two car funeral much less solve world crises. Trump was right to call them out for being unable to negotiate peace deals or dealing with the Gaza mess. Hopefully, some sane folks in Europe will elect new leaders and emulate the success Trump has brought to America. France, Germany, and the U.K. are beginning to reach a tipping point from which there is no return.

Regarding the escalator, teleprompter, and microphone nonsense, Trump brushed them off and turned it around to his advantage. What a disgrace the UN has become.

Birmingham's avatar

I wish Europe had not reached the tipping point yet, but I’m afraid we’re past that.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Last paragraph nails it Jim !!
