More winning! Anybody tired of it yet?

I hope the prescriptions thing works because my insurance won’t cover my eyedrops and I would prefer not to cough up $600 a month for them. That’s an insane price for a few ml’s of liquid, but I pay it because, otherwise, my chronic dry eyes affect every minute of my day.

Oh, my! I just checked one of my meds on goodrx and the most expensive price was at Costco for $705. Every other pharmacy listed was over $600. Looks like President Trump is my only hope.

I have begun getting some of my meds at Amazon. Things that Medicare was supposed to cover but didn’t. It is just easier and quicker and cheaper to get them from Amazon. My Dr sends them directly. Some things with my GP go thru my Medicare Rx plan. Overall, I find the gubment insurance to be a pain! They keep pressuring me to use their mail order pharmacy but I would rather pay a bit more and have more control. Somehow, I just do not trust anything to do with Medicare. My GP of 22 years doesn’t take Medicare so for now I just pay a flat fee to her. I have some chronic issues. I cannot work up the faith to believe there are any good doctors out there.

My son's don't, so we just got eye-patches to wear at night to keep the lids closed so his eyes don't dry out.

Obviously, during day that won't work, but...

05/12/25: Not me! Will Larry Sabato (below) ever get tired of losing?

"Nevertheless NYT persisted, complaining, 'The plan raises substantial ethical issues, given the immense value of the lavishly appointed plane...' "

The newspaper that glories in its fraudulent Pulitzer "Russiagate" prizes is worried about other people's ethics...

Don S: "The plane would be used by the next president, returned to Qatar or sent to the presidential library... Larry Sabato ... tweeted, 'The Trump Administration is drowning in corruption ... another sign of a dying Republic.'

"Well, Hunter selling million-dollar paintings did not bother the media. What really bothers the media is that Trump is a billionaire who cannot be bought... To be fair, Sabato may just be angry about getting his prediction about Trump wrong again."

Reminder (11/05/24 Election Results):

Sabato Predicted: Dem. Elec. College 276 Republicans 262.

Actual Results: Republicans 312 (+50) Democrats 226 (-50)

IF Sabato did call the 2020 presidential election correctly, here's his track record for the past 3 elections: Blew two of them (2016, 2024) and did victory laps in 2020 for having correctly predicted the outcome of ... a rigged election.

P.S.: Given the arc of Sabato's career, it would have been more logical for him to blow calling an election, even though (unbeknownst to him), it had been rigged in his favor.

Because He's Larry.

Trump should start trolling Boasberg and the circuit and district courts. With every successful trade deal, hostage release, reduction of prescription drug prices, he should have troll those traitors.

The whole point of China tariffs is to create an aura of uncertainty about investment in China. Ambiguity works to Trump and America’s benefit.

Open ended handshake deals that can be rewritten on a whim means a multibillion expansion of high tech production of consumer goods to be exported to US is no longer the sure thing it was in 2015.

Reshoring good manufacturing jobs and reestablishing tech dominance are strategically necessary, but also pushing whatever is not brought back to friendlier countries like India or Mexico works.

China’s economy is fragile right now, and Xi will trade short term tariff relief for losing the strategic high ground because the American trade deficit is their economic lifeline.

Producers of big ticket items sold internationally should be run by people who understand world political affairs and trade policy. Boeing is not. The once mighty Boeing is now DEI Boeing, a Woke board and executive team run company that sees itself as aligned with China rather than America. It adopted China's practice of sacrificing quality for low cost. Don reminds us of the stranded astronauts. But there is another set of events that serve to perfectly demonstrate Boeing's inept management. When Trump started the trade war with China, the CCP immediately canceled orders for a slew of Boeing aircraft. Boeing's response was to proclaim doom and gloom and issue lamentations against Trump. Within weeks, Boeing received more new orders than those canceled by China. They came from friendlier trading partners eager to please Trump. The question remains if DEI Boeing can fulfil those new orders with reliable aircraft. (See the failed multi-billion Dollar Air Force One project for more.) Footnote: Do you remember the celebrations and thank you messages from Boeing upon Musk's return of the astronauts it stranded? Me neither.

People who still watch the "news" on TV are the most misinformed people in the United States of America. Not sure how to educate the millions. Kind of like, "Masks don't work. You can wear one, but it means you are either an idiot or a bank robber." Well, duh! Truth Social, X, some others actually have the people in the 'know' telling you what they, uh, "know". If they are wrong, you get to write, "You're wrong", and tell them why. The best thing that could happen would be that all the current TV media outlets were shut down (kind of like education), and we start over again with people who tell the truth, or at least give the opinion and reasons for both sides. Ahhhhh, to dream and hope. It is what keeps some of us going.
