They PRETEND they’re different, but the media are still the lazy-corrupt-amoral-greedy-gullible-dumbasasackofrocks-lying liars they have always been. Happy Friday to all!!!!!

(That’s dumb-as-a-sack-of-rocks above, my long time favorite insult😂)

AZCACTUSPETE's avatar

And a lot of them are "Uglier Than A Mud Fence"... another favorite saying of mine.

Jeremy R's avatar

When their daddy told them they was different, he meant " not right".

James Wills's avatar

I'm rather partial to "Worthless as a whistle on a piss-pot."

RevMikeyMac's avatar

Or "box of rocks" ... "same-same"

Douglas Baringer's avatar

I am more enamored with thw alliteration of box and rocks than sack and rocks. Box is smoother.

Jeremy R's avatar

Agreed, when it's sack, it's -o-shit.

Lawsy0's avatar

That'll work, so to speak. If I said that, Mom would stuff a bar of Lifebuoy soap in my mouth.

Lawsy0's avatar

My dearly departed sister would have loved that remark. Thanks for the memory.

NNTX's avatar

A favorite of mine is the (supposedly real) name, "Shithead" pronounced "shiheed".

LOL

Please do not offend the rocks…

08/22/25: Thank you, Alice. "Hell No!" was the only possible choice.

"Tish James should be powder when all this is over."

Yes, but which landfill can handle a 39,000-pound shipment of powder?

I'd settle for James and Fani Willis, post-conviction, making license plates together...

("DJT SUX7" will get them another ten years each).

darrell's avatar

Don't hold back Alice, let it all out.

Brian LeMay's avatar

As the Gunny use to say , " They can't find their a*s with both hands " .

I believe Tish listed her father as her spouse on one of the mortgages

“Politics is ‘show business’ for ugly people.”

I first heard that phrase on Rush Limbaugh’s nationally syndicated radio show and, I think, he attributed it to leftist-loser Paul “the Forehead” Bengala.

TinselTown celebutards, political grifters & the bottom-feeding legal p’fession are incestuously intertwined, so it’s best to keep them All in the Same Family.

Lawsy0's avatar

And preferably, Off Planet. Hope Musk can build a penal colony on Mars or some such. I thought Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a cautionary tale, not a blueprint!!

Don Reed's avatar

08/22/25: Lawsy0, given Trump's successful fake comments about the bombers to Iran being sent from Guam, is it possible that the Mush-Trump dust up in June was "staged" to divert the asinine media's attention from something else?

Brian LeMay's avatar

Agree , and probably not the first " diversion " .

Lawsy0's avatar

My son offered a witty remark about politics in general: "This ain't my circus, and them ain't my monkeys." Of course when I was his age, politics wasn't my main concern. He's got teenagers to raise to maturity now. He'll catch on soon enough.

Jeremy R's avatar

If it was in Rhode Island it's fine.

Don Reed's avatar

08/22/25: Loved that R.I. Asst D.A. getting busted!

Jeremy R's avatar

New Jersey allows incest between consenting adults. Rhode Island allows it at age 16, hence my snide remark.

And they have the audacity to blame that behavior on rednecks. There are too many jokes about Georgians arKansans, Okies etc having sex with siblings or offspring.

The left just doesn't get that GOD fearing folks don't do that! Have a great weekend Don.

Don Reed's avatar

08/22/25: This explains some of the physical faces I've never gotten used to seeing since moving to NJ in 1986. A splendid weekend to you as well, sir.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Her soy-boy husband just watched it all. He was clothed but doesn't wear the pants at home.

Don Reed's avatar

You are correct in principle, sir, but Dan Hannan was the husband of Devon Flanagan's friend Veronica Hannon.

Flanagan, apparently single, was the assistant D.A.

Veronica, Flanagan's friend and also drunk, badgered the cops with "She's a f*cking layer, so she knows."

Both harridans were busted. God bless the Newport police!

What a shame that the whole thing wasn't on the same rock concert Love-Cam that blew up that assh*le's CEO job and marriage...

It could be true. Who knows?! 😎

The communist left has corrupted elements of each branch of government, their hooks able to circumvent Constitutional procedure in many ways. They achieved this, in part, with deeply placed election fraud strategies that have worked for decades. Soros helped too with maybe a dozen corrupt AG's.

The conservatives' list of 'wants' is long, but the list of conservative 'needs' must start with removing election fraud in all its forms and surgically removing the administrative/deep state as much as possible by 2026. If we do the first, the second will be much easier to accomplish. Both are essential to our success. We have 15 months until the mid-terms.

Suzie's avatar

The Elections Claise in the Constitution is very clear that, while States primarily have jurisdiction over election regulations, CONGRESS has the authority to make or alter those state laws.

Call Or write your Senators and Representatives to OUTLAW mass mail-in balloting NOW!!

Article I Legislative Branch

Section 4 Congress

Clause 1 Elections Clause

“The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations,..”

VICKI's avatar

which hear/here do you actually mean, darrell?

darrell's avatar

I'm not really sure Vicki. I'm not that erudite. Is hear hear the correct grammar?

Spell check doesn't help that.

tj's avatar

your keyboard, Gods' ears and hopefully he will help with knocking sense into the GOP. They are beginning but damn are they moving slow on some stuff.

MLR's avatar

New York and Washington, d.c. both the epicenters of the lawfare waged against DJT are finally getting a taste of what true justice is all about. The impending election of the communist as the next mayor of NYC should finally put the nail in the coffin that is the Marxist/Democrat/Hate America Party which because it’s so full of Schiff does not deserve to be a political movement in this country.

Jeremy R's avatar

All the sane people left years ago. Put up a fence, top it with concertina wire then electrify it. Build a buffer zone of mine fields for added security and a moat with sharks.

Lawsy0's avatar

Add to with sharks, "and a water moccasin or two." The sharks might take their mind off the task; moccasin will attack a shark--they say. I have no direct knowledge.

Lawsy0's avatar

I have seen no mention anywhere in print or on TV that anyone is aware of the pending doom to NYC when they finally elect their dream-mayor in all his Communist Glory. Communist Gory, more likely. 😆

VICKI's avatar

Maybe he and AoC will marry, Bernie will be officiating.

Think NY State now owes Trump about $275 million in interest charges. Not that Trump doesn't deserve it and I hope he gets it but do we see how everything always seems to come out of our pockets?

Albert P. Sweeney's avatar

That is one of the reasons I left Western NY State.

Jim Nelson's avatar

I grew up in Jamestown which was a wonderful area to growth up in. Great schools, good jobs, respect for law and order. I would no sooner move back there than shoot off my big toe. I feel sorry for my relatives who still live there and put up with the Democrat politics that brought apathy and decay to the area.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

It's a good point, about the interest charges, but I doubt that legally NY state owes him -- unfortunately.

Suzie's avatar

MS NOW =

Me See: No One Watching

(h/t Sarah Huckabee Sanders)

Lawsy0's avatar

Love that gal! Miss her Dad who is now in Israel being Trump's ambassador. Remember the flap when 'Sarah was gov. of Arkansas and let her kids draw on the sidewalk with chalk?'

RevMikeyMac's avatar

Don't forget, Don: the process is/was the punishment. These lying deceitful criminals pretending to be our legal system accomplished most of what they wanted simply by dragging Trump into court and tying him up with frivolous lawsuits for years.

That gave the slimeballs in the media fodder to use to brainwash the idiots and politicians (but I repeat myself) who wanted some reason - ANY reason, to hate Trump and keep him out of the presidency.

But - God is good - and their lawfare backfired, bigtime! Sadly, there are still plenty of others (Trump supporters, former staff and colleagues), like John Eastman and Rudy Giuliani, who are still bogged down in these messes!

Valoree Dowell's avatar

“That gave the slimeballs in the media fodder to use to brainwash the idiots and politicians (but I repeat myself) who wanted some reason - ANY reason, to hate Trump and keep him out of the presidency.” Perfect explanation. I’ve been beating my head against some of the brainwashed to help them see the truth. Fool’s errand. But at least I tried. I’ll let my forehead heal, now.

VICKI's avatar

It has been my experience that any anti=Trumpers get enraged and cannot even discuss politics in any way, They are brain dead sadly.

Sheila Barkofske's avatar

I think a good case could be made that this along with Jack Smith along with Fani Willis they actually endured Trump would be president again. Jackals who couldn’t leave well enough alone.

W.'s avatar

First the poll. Do I detect a shift in the media? The short answer is #4. No. NOT #5 *e** no. Since I quit regular or fanatical media attention and focus in 2016, it is a challenge to detect any significant changes.

However I confess to taking the occasional peek and notice some trends worth sharing.

The corporate media are starting to mention names and more details. But barely. Like it may hurt their pride.

That said, when I look criticality the propaganda, dis- , mal-, misinformation, lies AND ai-generated 'funnies', THAT is laughable. It is so sad that so many sop and gobble it all up unable to sort out what's really going on.

I just continue to pray.

Common sense is returning. The despicables should be worried and are scurrying to cover themselves.

As my Mom used to tell us ... not to worry. God was going to take care of it.

It feels like a Friday.

Cheers to Fearless Leader and the Surber Nation.

NNTX's avatar

Like you I have exited the "legacy" media. Much prefer to READ even before listening. Seems to me that the video/audio are more susceptible to propaganda.

Still, I deem the so-called "Fourth Estate" to be just as criminally liable as the deep state actors in other branches of government. Witness that 40% of our population believed the Russiagate hoax.

The fine grind of justice needs continuation, to include, as lawfully possible, the creeps in the "MSM/legacy" media.

W.'s avatar

This is from a little book I have that is now old. Unwritten Rule 28

Remember ⅓ of what you read, ½ of what people tell you but 100% of what you feel.

If it sounds like a duck, walks like a duck and smells like a duck, it's probably a duck.

No charge today. Have a great weekend. Bill

[Short for William. Signing off letters and memos with initials bs ... lacks credibility. WS]

NNTX's avatar

Interesting stats. I guess I am lucky to be a young boomer/Gen X and escaped the worst of the education apocalypse. Reading has always worked best for me, and even the annoying pop up ads and videos don't prevent me from reading text and remembering.

Brian LeMay's avatar

Interesting concept that " young boomer " ; I were one quite a while ago .

W.'s avatar

Yes. I think the 'young' is relative and subjective. It's only a state of mind.

NNTX's avatar

Actually on the cusp. My older sister was more of the hippie cohort. We graduated into job dearth and high interest rates. Changed our perspective quite a bit from the Vietnam vets and others of the Woodstock era...

marbucks's avatar

The legacy media (is that what we’re calling them now?) is going broke. It’s a wonderful thing to see.

Lawsy0's avatar

That is like a hot-dog with whipped cream and a cherry on top. That combo ain't gonna make no money at all!

James Sturdevant's avatar

These Democrat muttonheads who are incapable of walking and chewing gum at the same time, do not realize that with these actions, they are systematically destroying New York as the financial capital of the world.

revmaddog1948's avatar

James, I think this is a good thing. And I love your comment. Which I am savoring like a fine French wine although admittedly my daughter gets all of her wine from all these all these ALDI'S.

Lawsy0's avatar

Your daughter not only has good taste, she is thoughtful, thrifty and brave. I love me some Winking Owl!!

Jack's avatar

The combined corrosive effect of legal monkeyshines will cast a pall over NY for years to come.

Active volcanoes often have a cloud of smoke.

dbobway's avatar

Just as I was about to write this comment, I got a notification on my phone that the FBI just raided John Bolton's house. The shoe is on the other foot, officially. The difference is that John Bolton may have actually committed a crime. We are in a war where evil money is fighting against the lives of American human beings. The media are the peddlers of this evil money. It is a cancer attacking the truth. Good thing the truth is immortal.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

I hope they looked what's behind that mustache. A lot of nastiness, I suspect.

Playswithneedles's avatar

Hell no on the poll. The enemedia may be giving an occasional nod to the truth in preparation for the midterms but, as soon as they are over, no matter what the results, the enemedia will be right back to their usual tricks.

Michael Davis's avatar

They are like the Democrat leaning moderate during the campaign only to turn on the woke afterburner when elected.

Greg's avatar

Poll: WHO CARES?!?!?!?!?

Don, i realize you're a journalist. But really, who gives a crap what the "media" has to say. They're as useful as tofu at Cracker Barrel.

Don Surber's avatar

That's now on the menu

TeaPartyGal's avatar

We have to care ALOT because this corrupt media still is very effectively poisoning the minds of half the country.

Jeremy R's avatar

And that half of the country is actively manipulating the minds of OUR children while mercilessly murdering their own.

Greg's avatar

The Internet is where the utes get their news. Tik tok. Influencers. Pod casts. The lamestream media is my father's news source. Not even mine. Ignore them. Drop their ratings. One the boomers are dead, so will ABC,NBC, CBS News.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

We can't "wait for all the boomers to die". That's way too long and very precarious. This poison needs to be eradicated NOW.

Lawsy0's avatar

I asked someone if I was a Boomer. They said no, that I was part of what was called "The Silent Generation." If the generations are so malleable, then it seems to hardly matter at all. Like Mitty's "Pocketa-pocketa."

VICKI's avatar

Why many of us no longer watch 24/7 tv is it's like water torture, keep pouring the water (same shtt) till you want to do an Elvis and shoot the tv. Even Fox!!! But then the Murdochs are in charge and what do they know or care? Zip.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

In a sense ,Greg this may be a plus as here in the socialist sanctuary of Ore. most of the young people I interact with tend to be very conservative despite the mis-education regimen.

Greg's avatar

I hope some of have sense. My sons are right thinking

W.'s avatar

Sad fact. The estimated 50% is a great debate starter.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

Now that Cracker Barrel has gone woke, you may be able to find Tofu there. Don't CEO's keep up with the news? Bud Light should have sent a msg.

Lawsy0's avatar

I am incensed that CB has a female (so she claims) as a CEO. You can't get near our local Cracker Barrel on a weekend. I am grieved that CB finds itself in this make-a-fake melee. My 90-something aunt liked to go there because she'd take home half her breakfast for the next meal or two. Generous portions.

VICKI's avatar

I like Bob Evan's better than CB any day...but sadly they haven't gone far out of Ohio from Bob's farm! But you can buy the stuff in the markets everywhere, delish.

Lawsy0's avatar

We had a Bob Evan's near Opryland. I thought it was very good. And quite similar to what became the Cracked Barrel. ;)

Brian LeMay's avatar

Agree , damn shame if this mess up this icon 😔 .

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Or a drag show at Cracker Barrel. What's with hiring these liberal women CEOs who only create disasters? Bud Light set the grand example ...

Greg's avatar

She went to a top notch business school. Ha.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Yeah, and that's why I went to business school; even though I had plenty of education, back then the corporate world insisted on it. But like every aspect of higher ed, it's been way overdone. I like to compare it to the history of the Catholic Church: for a long time everybody HAD to belong to it, until all of a sudden that was no longer so.

VICKI's avatar

The prez of CVS is also a woman, and as a woman generally FOR women, especially doctors, I am about to leave CVS forever, she has ruined it.

Jim Nelson's avatar

Liberal Marketing women should stick to their own knitting. When they venture into areas populated by normal people and especially male dominated ones, they want to feminize whatever they are selling which never ends well. Of course, Bud Light is the prime example, but look what Jaguar did to its iconic brand by rebranding itself.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Would that explain why screaming women seem to dominate all these "street protests"? Garsh, they sound worse than banshees on the rag.

Lawsy0's avatar

I'se finna SAY!! Amen and Amen.

Ronnie T.'s avatar

From what I’ve been reading, it’s likely that Cracker Barrel will be serving country-fried tofu with sausage gravy.

Greg's avatar

Air fried pork rind tofu with Tofu gravy

Lawsy0's avatar

The thought of that almost made me fwo up!

Valoree Dowell's avatar

New tshirt: “they’re as useful as tofu at Cracker Barrel.” 🤣

Lawsy0's avatar

That will preach!!

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

The remnants of the ozero-bidet just-us system are deeply entrenched, some for life and they will continue the harassment of PDJT with zealous support from the msm. A clearer picture of the media bias will be the coverage of a dem supporters sign where Winsome Sears was speaking to a school board. For the nonce let us hope that SCOTUS continues using the constitution despite 3 dei justices.

Greg's avatar

Justice. It's all about justice and keeping the mass's emotions controlled. Without an outlet, people WILL start to take vengeance on their enemies if the courts will not. It's human history. And first to go are politicians and judges.
