12/24/25: Just fought my way out of the family Christmas Eve kitchen after doing battle with pots and suds and pans and this arrived just in time to put me in a better mood. Thank you Don Surber, as always, and thanks to all his readers whose quips, jests and dead-on comments liven up my mail box!

"Hillary is not a fun person. Donald Trump is. People like fun. Winning is fun.

"I finally figured out why Trump The Press is my best book. It was fun to write.

"It had a wicked stepmother (Bill Kristol). It had a magic funhouse mirror (the Fox all-stars). It had Prince Charming (Donald Trump). It had a happy ending.

"If I come up with another fun idea, I will write another book but for now, nyah.

Luke 2:13-14: "Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying, “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”

I wonder what that looked like? Imagine a very dark sky (no streetlights or city lights) filled end to end with angels proclaiming God's glory.

Had to be a heck of s sight.

The Trumpenstein continues on! Had to say W in the poll. When he came out during Trump 1.0 slinging mud after he had the gall to support HRC well that was it for me (especially after the egregious actions of Barak His Own Self - not a peep!) & - not only the Bushes - but the Rep party. Buch of establishment goons.

Here’s the subtext: NEVER listen to “the experts”. They’re partisan hacks & on the take from somebody. Even those pollsters on the right I tend to take with an eye askance; give me the straight dope not Rep spin/talking points.

Wasn't peak Trump also reached when Trump insulted Rosie O'Donnell during an August 2015 debate? During the debate, Megyn Kelly asked him about having called women fat pigs, slobs, etc., and he said was only referring to Rosie O'Donnell. I burst out laughing and was sold on Turmp from that moment on. There has never been enough peak Trump for me. Bring it on! I will now add "experts" to my list along with the MSM and economists (I put economists on that list earlier today): We don't hate them enough! Merry Christmas, everyone!

I've been with President Trump since golden escalator. Sometimes he says things make me wince but, I have always kept the faith. Look at him and his cabinet. Federal judges try to stop him but he just keeps going. I'm sure as a real estate developer in New York he ran into and overcame lots of obstacles. I'm looking for another peak moment when Republicans keep the house and Senate.

Bill Kristol never disappointed me because I never liked the guy in the first place. He did, however, in all likelihood disappoint his father, Irving for being a massive putz. Regarding Peak Trump, it will probably never be reached because the guy never fails to amaze. I doubt that we have reached Peak Washington, or Peak Lincoln, or Peak Reagan, so Peak Trump will be something like a satellite in geosynchronous orbit watching over us like a benevolent uncle. Regarding the press's prediction of Peak Trump throughout time, it reminds of Mark Twain's quip after hearing that a newspaper had declared him dead. "Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated".

There will never be “Peak Trump”. The man is a machine. There however is “Peak Media”, and it’s been reached. Big Media writes for itself and other big media, and as we all know, *hit flows down hill, straight to the local media, all a collection of parrots squawking to each other with their current cycle of gossip.

I can get more news from scanning my favorite aggregator than I can reading our “experts”, ( there’s that damn word again 🤣), analogies of the current events.
