Obama said that he could calm the rise of the oceans, that if you liked your plan you could keep your plan, if you liked your doctor you could keep your doctor, we are the ones we have been waiting for, we will fundamentally transform America, the police acted stupidly, and so on and so on. Could there be any more anti-American and divisive force? DJT is the total antithesis trying to reverse the evil transformation of this country. How fortunate are we to have him as President.

Sam Prentice's avatar

Joe the Plumber also pointed out to Obama the absurdity of increasing the tax rate on capital gains because that was proven to reduce revenues to the treasury. Obama admitted he knew this, but ridiculously said they needed to do it as a matter of fairness.

Obama is a freaking catastrophe, but we are the blame for ever allowing him and his Democrats to attempt to destroy us as they continue doing to this day. We should never accept any of this, and these people should have stopped breathing years ago already.

Dave Slough's avatar

Obama is a wolf in sheep’s clothing as is Spamburger in Va

Why is it Lefty can never campaign on their actions once in office

Their bedrock reason to govern is unelectable to John Q Piblic

DeniseVB's avatar

I'm a former Dem, it was never this bad. I left the party not because of Obama, but the people who supported him were really nasty. I supported John Edwards in 2004 and 2008, Obama was barely registering on the radar, until he was then I was told either you're with us or the hell with you. I left.

Dave Slough's avatar

Hochul said it too “you’re not one of us get outta town”!!

Welcome!

Been there, though I left them more than forty years ago.

Sam Prentice's avatar

My first time voting was for Jimmy in 1976. Although raised in a Republican family, college and Vietnam turned me into a Democrat. Carter's four years turned me back into a Republican. His aborted hostage rescue and boycott of the 1980 Moscow Olympics in response to their invasion of Afghanistan were the final straws for me. I changed my registration to Republican to vote against Ronald Reagan in the primary. He won and went on to change my life and I still love the man.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

And then the lefties really went after Joe the Plumber - looking in every nook & cranny.

DeniseVB's avatar

They tried to destroy the Cambridge Cop and anyone else enforcing the law against black people after that, even Hispanic George Zimmerman and Obama's "If I had a Son", Trayvon Martin.

Very slick but we weren't paying attention (well, I'm not a Dem anyway but THEY didn't pay attention) his so called wife should have clued everyone in...what a .......................................not enough room for all the names I have in mind.

Joe committed the unspeakable and unforgiveable act of making the "Lightbringer" look like a fool. He had to be destroyed as a warning to others daring to have the temerity to doubt Dear Leader.

Jake's avatar

Don't forget the rodeo clown who wore an Obama mask. They went after him too.

steph_gray's avatar

> Obama admitted he knew this, but ridiculously said they needed to do it as a matter of fairness.

Forgot about his inane response (I was enjoying memories of Joe the Plumber - he should be running for office and winning about now....

But now we have CommDami trying to excuse his insane tax ideas on those same grounds.

These people wouldn't know fairness if it drowned in a pond on their property.

Can someone keep “big ears” out of the news? He truly makes me ill when I see him. What fools Americans were to vote for him. I want him to go away. Transfer that woman Secret Service agent who was at Butler, PA with DJT to Obama’s Details. In fact put her in charge!

William Robinette's avatar

Before Barry, I was always willing to look at ALL candidates in a race because everyone had a possible contribution. After all the contorted perversions that came to fruition under his tenure I’m unwilling to consider anything that has to do with that religious sect, which includes democrats, socialists, communists, progressives, DEI, sexually confused deviants, thespians, jesters, minstrels . . . well, I’m sure you get the picture .

RevMikeyMac's avatar

And just think: Obama himself was/is everything on that list you just mentioned...

NNTX's avatar

That’s a good comprehensive list.

Can we add, pls, NGO officials, MSM folks (Or politicians married to same), judges/lawyers that release criminals, immigration and amnesty advocates?

Just spit balling…sure there are others that this great community can name.

Shrugged's avatar

Obama led a treasonous conspiracy against DJT to seal his eight year reign where he and Valerie Jarrett orchestrated treasonous acts against America that are still activated and functional.

The DOJ can't move fast enough to expose this man, Obama, as America's biggest enemy of state.

WTPuck's avatar

Even if it doesn't happen in my lifetime, I hope they're compiling irrefutable evidence against Obama et al. Evidence that will stand up in court.

NNTX's avatar

It is hopeful with Joe DeGenova now sworn in to help in the FL prosecutions.

I wonder if any will express shock/surprise when more of their perfidy and conspiratorial treasons are exposed? So far all the left and Dems express crickets only.

Shrugged's avatar

Joe DegGenova is a good man and has done good things in this regard.

I think the Dems (the Obama inner circle) are scared sh*tless.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

DeGenova once was a helluva prosecutor but I fear the congressional committees strongly worded letter syndrome is viral in pursuit of democrat traitors and seditionists.

Richard Luthmann's avatar

At some point, you have to call it what it is—results versus resentment. When policies start landing, when outcomes become visible, the opposition doesn’t recalibrate—it doubles down. That’s what you’re seeing. It’s not analysis, it’s reaction. Donald Trump is stacking measurable wins, and the response isn’t “let’s reassess,” it’s “let’s spin.” That tells you everything. Because when the scoreboard is real, the only move left is narrative. But narrative has limits. You can argue perception all day, but you can’t fake outcomes forever. And the more those outcomes pile up, the harder it gets to explain them away.

Shrugged's avatar

"You can argue perception all day, but you can’t fake outcomes forever."

Excellent point. The left has had almost total control over perception with help from the media, but if we don't force the end of that perception with undeniable outcomes (i.e. undeniable reality) in the next several months, the mid terms will reset the entire puzzle that Trump is assembling before the eyes of the world.

RevMikeyMac's avatar

Obviously the markets aren't "buying" the media's narrative. That causes anyone else with half a brain to eventually wake up, too.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

They're brain-dead - so, they'll never wake up - but they are woke.

NNTX's avatar

But will they wake up before Nov?

I honestly shake my head at the delusions that so many not only believe, but support/vote for.

Shrugged's avatar

It's hard to fix stupid and clueless which is about 50+% of our population. It's probably only 30% of likely voters.

NNTX's avatar

We can pray and continue to advocate for our position. Sometimes, if rarely, the deluded will see the light.

tj's avatar

Thankfully stupid and clueless are also lazy. Which is why they fall for everydang thing that the Dims say will be free, and so vote for them.

Alice Ball's avatar

How can any thinking American be a Dem in today’s world?? Obama is such a total loser in every way and has done immeasurable damage to their brand. Yet they loved him bc they thought he’s cool, he’s friends with celebrities, and yippee he’s black!! A trifecta in progressives’ group think. This blending of Marxist + Islamist ideology is a marvel to behold, and it’s currently in charge in NYC with Mamdani, Obama’s second cousin. Ugh.

Amy's avatar

I think lots of Democrat voters in their 60’s and 70’s have a picture in their heads of Oblahma like the black male models they saw modeling three piece suits in the 1985 JC Penny catalog or a Hart Schrafner & Marx print ad. And they congratulate themselves on being so accepting and open minded. Bdn is a perfect example of their racist patronizing which they’re too full of themselves to recognize - clean, articulate (all Bdn meant, and Democrat voters understood, was he could speak non-Ebonic English because we all know Bdn couldn’t define the word articulate), storybook. Idiots.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

"Congratulating themselves" is maybe the biggest achievement of the Democratic Party--they convinced their voters that "being a Democrat" was the most noble, intelligent, and "advanced" thing they could be on Earth.

And they chiefly congratulate themselves that they are NOT US--those "stupid, racist Republicans".

That's why it's so hard to try to get them to change--their fundamental sense of identity and self-worth is totally entwined with being a "virtuous Democrat". This is "the elephant in the room" when you are trying to talk with most Democrats. So you're not just challenging their thought about various political policies--you're threatening their ROOT BELIEF that they are good people. And that is something people psychologically defend to the utmost.

That's why we have to approach them with supportive respect, helping them to shift their sense of self-worth from "affiliation with the Democratic Party" to a healthier basis for self-worth. They are mostly not open to a spiritual sense of self-worth, but one can recognize and affirm their love for their children (I know, I know, except the ones they abort), their aspiration for goodness in life, their individual skills and talents, the times when they are funny or kind, etc. Maybe it sounds too "nice", but only sincere Love and respect are going to reach past their defenses.

LuAnn's avatar

You are a noble and understanding warrior, TPG.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Alice and LuAnn, there are many Dem voters in my family, too, and it is love for them that makes me want to find a real healing for them, and not just "write them off". There is much good in them, and you have to build on that foundation to get through to them.

You phrased it well, Alice--"we need to rescue regular Dems from their clutches and give them a political home, and hopefully a spiritual one too."

Each one we can reach will make America safer going forward.

And there are millions and millions of us who have family in this situation.

We should not give up!

God-based Love is not a weak thing by any means, 2 Cor. 10:4--"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds".

This is a "strong hold" we can pierce.

tj's avatar

I recently found out that a reasonable cousin leans left. I dont talk politics to anyone but here and hubby. I will be making an exception as she is reasonable. And her and I can discuss a lot of stuff, even agreeing to disagree with no hard feelings. I just need to expand the subjects a little.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Go for it! Be kind, humorous, supportive. She might not warm up on the first few tries, but being "gently available" will make an impression on her and can start the redpilling process.

Alice Ball's avatar

Gal, I agree with you on this. I have several Dem voters in my family and they're lied to so frequently and don't know it. And they truly believe they're moral people who place value on only good things. The endless empathy has driven them half-crazy. I will celebrate the downfall of Progressives and their Marxist-Islamist kin, but we need to rescue regular Dems from their clutches & give them a political home, and hopefully a spiritual one too.

Jim Nelson's avatar

Alice, the key word in your first sentence is "thinking". Most Dems today are sheep just going along with the flock.

Alice Ball's avatar

They are also shielded from many many facts and truths by the media. Obama could never have so fundamentally changed the party without willing support from the Leftist media. How on earth can Dem voters change if they truly don't know what's going on? I saw this over & over during Covid---the Dem screeching about the things that all were true (Ivermectin works & is a Nobel-prize winning antiviral; hydroxychloroquine works and is NOT "drinking bleach") and realized that every single lie from Dem leadership re Covid was endlessly parroted by the idiots called journalists 24/7 and their voters mindlessly follow along. It might be hopeless.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

I truly believe that if most Dems saw the same news we see, unshielded by the corrupt Left Media, that they would be on our side.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

DEM's are incapable of rational thought, so thinking is a foreign concept to these sheep.

BJ54's avatar

Look at how irrelevant Bill Clinton is now. The democrats tried to sell even that perjurer and disbarred lawyer as a leader after his two terms. And when that didn't work they pivoted to Obama and (of all people) Hillary, the Queen of mean.

Alice Ball's avatar

Queen of Mean and of Murder.

Obama was a good president except for being: condescending, arrogant, lazy and not all that bright.

Jeremy R's avatar

He was a liar, a communist, and a puppet. His only contribution to history was unseating Carter as the worst president and later moving him to the #3 slot by way of installing the brain dead incompetent money grubbing Zhou Xiden.

UncleWiggly's avatar

He is still all those things and a traitor. There is no past tense here.

William Coulter's avatar

You forget to mention he was an asshole as well. Not the kind of guy you would want to have a beer with.

Not really, without his teleprompter, he became a stuttering clusterfuck of a miserable failure or SCoaMF for short.

When asked questions, he resembled a fawn in the headlights while waiting for his controllers to print up a response.

While giving his lectures, he looked like he was watching a tennis match as he looked back and forth at the teleprompters.

China had dear leader, we were stuck with deer reader.

WTPuck's avatar

I never forget his needing a teleprompter to speak to a kindergarten class. Heck, all you have to do is get one 5 year old started and the conversation flows by itself.

I'm sure Bill Ayers can crank them out faster than democrats can read them.

Vince Gallo's avatar

Obummer doesnt know it yet but he’s past his political expiration date. Even a heck of a lot of Black men ignored him in 2024 and pulled the lever for Trump.

Maybe he should spend more time building a sea wall around his oceanfront home on Martha’s Vineyard so climate change won’t wash it away.

William Coulter's avatar

Oh I think he knows he is irrelevant. He, like others before him, fight it. About the only one who is irrelevant and knows it and shuts up, for the most part, is George Bush.

Suzie's avatar

Not quite. He’s been very busy working with his RINO clique both within government and without to obstruct Trump and his agenda at every turn. He just doesn’t make a personal show of it. But he is most assuredly working against the President as much as any of the other RINOs out there.

Shrugged's avatar

I submit that being president was a distraction for Obama. Now, he can work full time to focus on and destroy Christianity and the best experiment in representative government ever attempted on planet earth.

Suzie's avatar

And oh! How he enjoyed operating from the shadows via his wingman, Susan Rice in charge of domestic policy, amongst others neatly planted within the Biden administration! He’d even admitted in interview somewhere how ideal a situation it would be for him to be able to run things via a surrogate, and not have to personally deal with all the more negative and unpleasant aspects being the visible president entails.

Shrugged's avatar

That was the purpose of USAID among other such administrative money laundering anti-American agencies with cute names.

Suzie's avatar

Yup. The Dems set up systems, regulations and government entities which are able to operate autonomously regardless of the party in power. That’s how they’ve operated for decades. Trump is the first President who actually has made it a priority to dismantle as many as he possibly can.

NNTX's avatar

Yes. I smell his dirty mitts on the TX Senate race, Suzie. They were quite mad that the nephew (Jeb!’s son iirc) was defeated by Paxton a few years ago.

NNTX's avatar

I know from friends that are long time summer residents at the Vineyard that the Obamas are not well liked there, fwiw.

Vince Gallo's avatar

Obummer was the Manchurian Candidate. Packaged to bs white libs and blacks to vote for a charismatic Ivy league unifying moderate, he went full commie the minute he assumed office.

It’s true he gave us Iran’s nukes, ISIS, not the JV team but blood thirsty murderers, fractured our social fabric with illegals and criminals & made America more divided and weaker.

Let’s face it. He was groomed from an early age to be the communist messiah the left gets orgasms over. He came from the liberal commie studio system. They paid for his development into the commie con artist he is.

Is it any surprise he has no friends prior to showing up in Rev. Wright’s Antichrist church in Chicago?

Damn the torpedoes's avatar

Apparently he spent millions on lawyers hiding anything that remotely hinted of a past here in America. Barry Soetero went to Columbia. No teachers ever taught him as a child. He has no “home town.” Neighbors and friends at school are non-existent. And definitely no ex-girlfriends. He’s a creation that appeared at the Democratic convention, made a speech, and then the production moved to DC. He surrounds himself with the most ruthless communists ever. And a huge supporter of the Muslim brotherhood, born in Kenya. He’s not even very smart, but knows how to take orders.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

I think you nailed it Dtt !!

Wim de Vriend's avatar

I haven't yet seen anybody mention it, but Obama's biggest advantage was his invisible protective cloak. This cloak guaranteed that if anybody dared criticize his weird policies, his arrogant demeanor or his incompetence, half the country would rise up and scream: "Racist!!!!"

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Yes, and if you criticized Hillary Clinton, you were "Sexist!!!!".

And they're going to try to use that with (hardcore Communist) Pete Buttigieg in 2028-- if you criticize him, you're "Homophobic!!!!!!".

WTPuck's avatar

That's why all those words are now virtually meaningless.

BJ54's avatar

Not virtually meaningless. these words-- racist, sexist, homophobic, and islamophobic-- are part of the communist vocabulary meant to stifle real understanding.

Brian LeMay's avatar

So be it ; me being homophobic has nothing to do with the fact that he is utterly incompetent . I suspect he's like Bernie, never having a honest productive job in his life . An original thought and a cold glass of water would probably take him out .

tj's avatar

Not sure Buttboy will get any traction. He really really messed up South Bend and most blacks cant stand him. Not sure what the reason is. I live in Indiana but too far away to hear much but there is no Dim or President getting elected without a decent black vote percentage. In most polls I have seen, Buttigieg has NONE as in zero percent black vote.

Douglas Baringer's avatar

Dems are all for military spending, just not on our military. Just brilliant, Don! It is an astute observation.

Who is the puppet master behind the curtain pulling the strings of these morons. How did someone like Obama ever make it? He is a freaking imbecile. They say he talks real good. The end goal of Islam is world domination. Lying and deception are permissible to achieve that goal. The West's embrace of abortion plus mass migration of 3rd world Muslims has sped up the advance of Islam.
