Wow! Hard to decide on your excellent poll choices!

Jake's avatar

There is no wrong answer today. I'd really like to go after Omar and have her deported for immigration fraud. Pretty obvious she married her brother. That piece of work should not be in America's Congress. It's hard to soil the reputation of Congress cause it's a very low bar but she does it every time she opens her mouth.

Reddog's avatar

The gang are going to eliminate themselves I believe. They have nothing but what lost them the last election to run on and, true to form, they are continuing to fight for the same things that people are sick and tired of having thrown in their faces. They can’t help themselves because they don’t know anything else and they’re quite ignorant of how most people live. They are done. AOC and Omar are hollow people who crave their fame. They have already lost and Trump’s successes will make them immaterial.

I'll have impeaching judges with a Milley court martial chaser.

VICKI's avatar

I was thinking get rid of the squad as my second choice.

David Thompson's avatar

Impeaching (and convicting or they won't be removed) judges requires a 2/3 vote from the Senate. Not going to happen. The next easier thing to do is have Congress pass legislation to eliminate their benches. Jefferson managed that in 1802 but it seems unlikely today given how the courts are overwhelmed with cases.

Shrugged's avatar

Is impeachment the ONLY alternative to removing a corrupt judge?

I can't accept that conclusion.

If a judge clearly violates existing law with an order, isn't that a criminal offense?

An illegal alien - especially one with a violent criminal history - has NO rights in our country. A judge can't artificially assign rights to that individual through a court order. Any attempt to do that is (or should be) a criminal offense subject to prosecution under the law.

At the very least, a higher court should overrule that judge's order within hours - or a day - to keep it from executing.

We need statistical process control for the judicial branch. When judges issue orders that fall outside the tolerance limits of their authority, the process must be stopped until it can be corrected.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Agree, Shrugged. We need to be firm, but we need to watch carefully that we not go unnecessarily hardball on things until there's no alternative. Then, yes, go full hardball. But as you said the other day, we are still cementing the allegiance of the independent and formerly-Democratic voters who have opened their mind enough to move to Trump.

There will be NO problem cementing these voters if everything fraudulent about the Democratic party continues to be very clearly EXPOSED and explained, and broadly publicized. Each clear explanation of the evil the Dems have done is CRUCIAL. We do need to be aware of the rate at which people in the center can absorb and assimilate things, though. It would be best if we pair each new exposure of Democratic corruption with a new hardball action. Of course, events are happening so quickly right now, you can't literally do this, but we need to overall keep it somewhat in balance.

And often, we seem forced into "hardball" actions because other people, or another branch of the government (like the Supreme Court) , is not carrying their weight and doing their job.

Subvet's avatar

I've been searching for the answer to your question and so far all I have come up with is,"Yes, Impeaching a federal judge is the only to get rid of them."

David Thompson's avatar

Therevare existing opinions that even many criminal convictions are insufficient to remove a judge from the bench.

Playswithneedles's avatar

Maybe not but, as the saying goes, the process is the punishment. Bleed them dry financially with attorney fees and let them destroy their own reputations when they testify before congress live on national television.

David Thompson's avatar

The problem is that they know how to manipulate (and are embedded in) the process quite well.

Jake's avatar

The way the Dems are going, the chances of having a two thirds majority in the Senate after the midterms are growing every day. Three Dem senators are currently retiring. There will be more and it probably won't be pretty.

Reddog's avatar

A two thirds majority is a dream we all have but I doubt we will ever see it. More likely, enough Dem Senators will see what is happening at the polls and moderate their behavior. There are quite a number of Dems who come from increasingly red states and nothing changes voters minds like prosperity and public safety.

Lawsy0's avatar

Truman popularized the phrase, “If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.” Nowadays, that includes microwaves.

Reddog's avatar

Spot on. Trump will use the power of the pulpit to marginalize these rogue judges and the higher courts will continue to repudiate their actions. They will find that the public and the legal profession will turn their backs on them.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

The legal profession is not going to turn their backs on them, they are more likely to double down in supporting the liberals. The legal profession, bar associations, etc, have been captured by the Left and needs a top to bottom cleansing.

Lawsy0's avatar

Watched a segment of a pod cast with Harriet Hageman this morning. She focused on DOGE and the department of “education”.

Seems the DOE gets about 268 BILLION a year but only 25% of the 268 BILLION makes its way back to the schools.

So where does the rest go?

I can see why Democrats are apoplectic. They own most of the graft and corruption of all this misspent money and the laundering operation to keep it going.

Will be interesting to see the next shoe that hits the floor.

Would be interesting to see just how high on the hog Judge Boasbeg is living. Beyond his logical means? Who knows until you check. Any trips to the Cayman Islands?

Reddog's avatar

I saw that segment too. The problem would go away if congress stopped these huge omnibus spending bills and approved each agencies budget on a singular up or down vote. No way can congressional committees look at agency budget submissions closely the way it now works. Both sides of the aisle use this failing to get stuff approved without scrutiny. Congress is the problem, the bloated agencies are just the result.

LuAnn's avatar

I don't think it matters where you live because this is a trend in Western liberal democracies -- elected politicans don't want to make hard decisions that might stop their personal enrichment and they throw these decisions over to unelected bureaucrats and judges.

I think they will get to single subject bills. Now’s the time to start pushing for that.

QUOTE: "What didn't the president know and when did he not know it?"

One eminently reliable witness to this is extremely sober House Speaker Mike Johnson, who related how in January he had asked Biden why he had halted LNG exports to Europe, a move reversed by the incoming Trump administration soon after:

“He looks at me stunned … and he said, ‘I didn’t do that.’ And I said, ‘Mr. President, yes, you did. It was an executive order like three weeks ago.’ And he goes, ‘No, I didn’t do that.’ … He was not lying to me. He genuinely did not know what he had signed. And I walked out of that meeting with fear and loathing, because I thought, ‘ We’re in serious trouble. Who is running the country?’"

"He genuinely did not know what he had signed" I would go one tiny little step further: either he signed that order and forgot all about it, OR he had never even been ASKED to sign it, and some deep-state intern, frantic about saving "the climate", had simply activated the auto-pen. Whatever turns out to be the truth, this will make the Dems look like criminals -- and utterly irresponsible ones, the only kind that exists.

Reddog's avatar

Agreed. Get rid of auto pens. Biden may have been told part of the orders purpose but not all. The people around him were evil and clearly using him for partisan purposes.

Jim Nelson's avatar

Auto pens should only be used for non-governmental purposes such as signing letters to constituents. No piece of legislation or executive action should be signed by a non-human device.

VICKI's avatar

Absolutely,,,,letters to constituents and that is all. ALL EO should be hand signed and witnessed by the President!!!

Cookie McCall's avatar

I love that Our Man in the WH, revels in signing his orders, with a flourish after receiving a brief description, in front of the cameras with an audience!

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Given that visual evidence, I suppose we can overlook that those signatures look quite illegible.

Speaking of CNN. Guess Kasie Hunt drew the short straw yesterday in having to debate Stephen Miller. What a bloodbath. It was like Mike Tyson in his prime fighting Don Lemon. It's just not fair.

jewel's avatar

she was incredibly rude, Stephen Miller rocks

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

Read somewhere that they thought she was being coached via earpiece. That would explain her aloofness. CNN thinking they could do a "gotcha" with this guy is pretty dumb... but then again...

Reddog's avatar

I find Miller a very unlikeable guy but he knows his stuff and he is an excellent debater or should I say teacher. He is always better prepared than the people who try to trip him up.

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

Like Trump I really don't think Miller cares a whole lot about being liked. He cares about the Constitution and what's right for the American people.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

I adore Stephen Miller!

VICKI's avatar

I think he is GREAT...what' s not to like? As if he probably cares.

Shrugged's avatar

We need Miller. With a legacy media still having great sway over a large segment of the voting population, the alternative (conservative) sources are more intellectual and analytical in messaging as opposed to harping lies about stuff (ie Nicolle Wallace). Miller puts the truth out there in concise, easy-to-understand terms.

Conservative media is the 'AP' course in news.

Legacy media is the 'easy-to-pass' course in news.

Miller teaches the latter

Why I read Surber Suzie.

Shrugged's avatar

We have three branches of government. Two of the three are in Trump's favor because of voters. The only one that has unelected, radicalized anti-American terrorists is the judicial branch in the form of judges. There should be oversight of their behavior before they can do much damage - which should be the SCOTUS - but we can't count on them for much anymore.

Still keeping my fingers crossed that John Roberts will be disgraced enough from the Epstein evidence to resign under Trump's watch. Yeah, a really, really long shot, but miracles HAVE happened in this administration.

Reddog's avatar

Going to buck the group here probably but Roberts is not our enemy. He is far from our idea of a good conservative true. But he is very cautious of too much change too quickly and sees himself as a steading influence between right and left. Don’t have to like it but I don’t see him as the boogeyman others do. He is just extremely cautious of his court rulings. He does not want his court to be radicalized. If our side cannot make an argument with sufficient weight to convince him, not sure that can be his fault. I see him as very moderate, not a right leaning conservative but he is no left winger either.

Shrugged's avatar

Have to disagree with you on this. Nothing was more radical than Obamacare, destroying the private insurance sector and shifting to the first single-payer system. Roberts bent over backwards so far to support it, he could have kissed the rubber tag on the back of his keds.

Obamacare was a tax? That's why we have to include a 1095-B or 1095-C with our tax return documentation. Forced coverage or we pay a penalty. That's John Robert's contribution.

Roberts single-handedly changed - and ruined - the health insurance industry.

I don't know where his loyalties reside, but they they aren't vested in the good or the righteous of society. Same with Coney-Barrett. She's as untrustworthy - and as wacko - as the Pope.

Epstein Did Not Kill Himself's avatar

I was going to remind Dog of the same thing but glad you did. You did it much more precisely and completely than I would have.

Brian LeMay's avatar

Agree , his voting record speaks for itself . He has done nothing to inspire trust among the conservative movement .

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

We really have four branches. The IC which pretty much control the other three.

Shrugged's avatar

Thanks for the reminder.

I'd like to think Trump has the Executive branch cut off from the IC influence with his cabinet. Not so for the other two . . . yet.

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

Yup. Trump is trying hard. The IC has their tentacles everywhere. I think part of this administrations strategy is to cut off the incestuousness. Sundance goes deep on this.

I’m looking forward to Judge Boasberg entering the FO stage having F’d Around. Nobody mentioned this was the dirtbag judge in charge of the FISA Court during the lead up to Russiagate in what seems like long-past history. I so do hope PDJT is in a vengeful mood where that POS is concerned. I bet Kash Patel is. I bet Kash already has a dossier and a legitimate angle of attack. As is likely the case with the newest member of the FBI, one Daniel J. Bongino, sworn in yesterday if I’m not mistaken (didn’t see it mentioned at all, anywhere). He might have written a book or two back in the day. Depending on which side one chose to be on the next four years are either likely to be something to behold, or excruciating. Quite a spectacle of Karma, either way.

Cookie McCall's avatar

There was a picture of Bongino & Kash in an article on CFP last night mentioning his swearing in yesterday

MartyB's avatar

Must have been where I saw it. If Kane didn’t see it then it didn’t happen.

Alice Ball's avatar

Impeach judges for sure. They got away with it in his first term, but no more. The Deep State is weakened, the neocons are either quiet or jumped ship, the Dems are in the lowest ditch I’ve ever seen. Get rid of these activist judges, and do it as quickly as possible. And be sure one of these cases is sent to the SC for a snack-down so we don’t have to listen to their self-aggrandizing speeches/rulings ever again. Overturn them on appeal. Weaken them to the point of either resignation, impeachment or eye-opening to their actual role.

Reddog's avatar

I have a good friend who works on the Hill and interfaces with members daily. She told me the Dems are increasingly wary of how the public is reacting to party members comments and statements. In the Army, we called this being in a “hull defilade” position where you and your vehicle stayed well below line of sight. Hope it continues.

Alice Ball's avatar

I cannot fathom how they think their positions would resonate positively with the public. It's time for the Dems to wake up to the destruction they allowed by the Left under the "wise leadership" of HRC (ringleader)/Obama/Biden(puppet) and all of their minions. They are so far Left on every issue & don't see how exposed they are. Perhaps the moderates will wake up, but they've had a lot of years to do so & have not.

Jake's avatar

I think our terrorist loving judge got over his skis. This is probably one of the most blatant abuses of the judicial system yet. The threat of impeachment should cause him to back down. If he's dumb enough to continue he will be impeached and set a new tone for other like minded liberal judges. At the very least it will keep Dems undies in a wad until the Trumpster drops something new and bigger to cry about.

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

The pure arrogance of a two-bit hack judge thinking he can turn around an aircraft full of terrorists is remarkable. Did he know how much fuel was left? The flight hours of crew members? The security and physical risks to crew members? No. He did it because he thought he could. And of course to be lauded by the Lame Stream Media. Unbelievable.

RevMikeyMac's avatar

Look what he did to innocent Americans - the J6'rs (and I do believe almost everyone of them was innocent, provoked into self defense by police and undercover FBI, etc.); of course the 'judge' is arrogant...thinks he's above the law, or gets to make it up as he goes along!

Reddog's avatar

His five minutes of fame.

Steve Boggs's avatar

Don’t forget his role in using the malicious powers of the “justice” system against J6ers

Stanley Yelnats's avatar

He knows how unlikely impeachment is. However, I think there may be money and/or collusion involved. Examine his phone records and the bank records of his nearest and dearest. If he’s having conversations with Mark Elias or getting large deposits, he could end up in Leavenworth. Just one dirty judge exposed could straighten out the entire judiciary.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

You nailed it-- this is a good approach and the public would broadly support it.

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

Like the theory but I don't think anyone could be this dumb... even an Ivy league educated lawyer.

Stanley Yelnats's avatar

Ha. Especially an Ivy League educated lawyer.😂 They’re bloviated, narcissistic idiots who are good at academics, or have rich parents. Critical thinking is not their strong suit. They win by giving out Benjamins and name dropping. The evidence is there, it just needs to be found.

Reddog's avatar

You know an action by a judge is corrupt when they cite no case law or statute that governs. These people are out of control and have been for a very long time.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Impeaching him would require a sizable number of Dem votes. Don't count on it.

Another outstanding effort Don. Trump is wearing me out! Leavitt is a national treasure! El Salvadore ascending! Commicrats scurrying as the barn door opens and light floods in! So much happening to Make America Great Again! My wife says that these judges should be removed for acting against the oath they took to uphold the Constitution. I think she is right.

VICKI's avatar

I'm loving this WINNING and more WINNING and once we figure out the judges and dealing with them, we could be almost home free. WTG PDJT! etal.

Estelle Chisholm's avatar

Swearing an oath to protect us via the Constitution and failing to do so is an impeachable offense. Thus both Obama and Biden are liable for impeachment under the law as well as the many corrupt judges Biden got on board. I am, by the way, beyond disappointed by Amy Comey Barrett. She has swung Left after promising to be fair etc. in her judgements. She seemed brilliant in her interview before the Senate, but I wonder what has corrupted her to change direction too many times in favor for the "other" side?

Douglas Baringer's avatar

Like many of the over educated, she thinks she is much wiser than we who operate by common sense.

Wow! PDJT and company are quickly destroying the strongholds of the Far Left. Now, the activist judiciary is under the microscope. These miscreants in black robes have been abusing the Constitution with crazy opinions and abetting lawfare for quite some time. Now they being shown to be nothing more than partisan tools of the Left to thwart the MAGA agenda. The most obvious stronghold is the Deep State which is under attack by DOGE and Elon's Merry Men. This will be on ongoing battle for some time, but so far, the results have been encouraging. Academia is now in the cross hairs with DEI being abolished and grants for questionable projects being denied. The Federal gravy train, which supports these bastions of Leftist thought, has left the station. Lastly, a major stronghold of Leftism, the legacy media is and has been on the ropes for some time. Of course, their downfall has, for the most part, been self-inflicted due to their continued lies and misinformation. However, with the combination of new media and the new Trump administration's truth squad taking it to Margaret Brennan et al., their ability to gaslight the public is becoming harder and harder. No wonder the Dems are in a panic and fighting amongst themselves.
