Damn, Don. As clearly as you see things, I’m surprised you need cataract surgery.

Dear Lord, please give Don the best cataract surgery ever, but don’t let him see things too differently.’

I propose we simply refer to that Democrat Drone hiding in a robe as BARFBERG.

Don, you and I are the same age. I had cataract surgery 9 months ago. Went well, but one result was more "floaters" in my eyes. Getting used to that.

Lawsy0's avatar

I had mine "done" two weeks apart. My doctor is within walking distance of my home. He said, "I'd better not hear of you walking over to the office." He asked if he could pray with me at each surgery. Sweet fellow and staff.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

For me they come and go; I haven't seen any for some time now. But when one returns it's a very minor nuisance.

He will love the results of cataract surgery assuming he has a great surgeon. It's really pretty easy and the results are exciting. I wouldn't do both eyes at the same time. Take a break in between. You may even throw away your glasses if you have any and get mono surgery!!! Good luck.

Playswithneedles's avatar

Best of luck with your surgery this morning, Don! Prayers are with you.

As to the judge - we have a brand new FJB.

Don Surber's avatar

Thanks

And we don't change the initials!

Wim de Vriend's avatar

No, just the spelling of that lousy legalist's name: BARFBERG.

Eric Sowers's avatar

One more evolution? BarfBAG (a readily disposable container of vomitus).

Judges need a report card. If they are overturned on appeal more than 9.9%, they are immediately discharged from office. No 1st, 2nd, or 3rd order family member may be involved in the legal system (same for politicians). Penalty for corruption on the bench is capital. Since people walked away from God's wrath and eternity in Hell for their sins, we need to bring it to them on Earth quickly.

For me, the good days keep repeating and it never gets old unlike me. God placed his protecting hand upon you early on probably before you were born, and we are the grateful recipients of your epic clarity. Thank you Jesus, for Don is blessed and a blessing.

Sodom on Potomac is nothing more than a RICO model. La Cosa Nostra has more honor.

revmaddog1948's avatar

That's a little harsh. Absolutely true. But hopefully God's judgement will allow the righteous to escape. I'll keep my thoughts to myself about when and how that will happen.

Most of the corrupt Blue judges were appointed by Obama, some by Biden. We should check who appointed every Judge that comes up in the news to confirm who appointed them. Then we should ALWAYS refer to them as Obama-Judge Boasberg, Obama-Judge Chutkan, etc.

If we label them this way and use it every time we refer to them, it will soon become clear to the public what the problem is. Too many Americans start with a presumption that judges have integrity and support the Constitution, and thereby deserve respect and deference. So they are initially inclined to think the judge is right and Trump is in the wrong. When we DON'T state who appointed them, these judges can get away with hiding behind the general high reputation of an American Judge.

Words matter, and if we did this, the words "Obama-appointed" and "Biden-appointed" would be dominating the news these days.

Excellent recommendation!

Reminds me of the way Enemedia leaves off the D for those who get their hands caught in the cookie jar and of how Rush would always say “Democrat, Louisiana” when talking about Congressman William Jefferson (cash in the freezer) because, of course, the media would leave it out of the story.

Rob Olsen Elder's avatar

Excellent idea! The Marxist media does it with Republican appointed judges. They call Republicans in general right wing and worse.

Robert Rivera's avatar

Yes TPG, the Left has been labeling Conservative judges far right for years signaling to their Marxist fellow travelers who to support.

PM's avatar

Profound, TPG❤️

Wim de Vriend's avatar

I've proposed referring to the first one as Judge Barfberg. As to the second one, changing the C into an S and the U into an I will do.

Lawsy0's avatar

Preach it, Sistah!

Jeremy R's avatar

Love your idea, BUT shouldn't we refer to judges appointed during 46's tenure as Otto Penn's judge Xxxx?

I doubt Zhou had a clue who they were, what they stood for and why they were selected.

Soros Judge?

I'm surprised that, with your excellent view of what's happening in America and the world, you need cataract surgery. That being so, may your surgeon be steady and sure, and the surgery a success. And may your healing be swift and complete.

Sigmund Freud dies and goes to Heaven, where he is met by a frantic Saint Peter.

“Dr. Freud, we desperately need your help!”

“Why?” asks Freud. “What’s the problem?”

“It’s God. He’s having delusions of grandeur,” Peter replies. “He thinks He’s a federal judge!”

This is from George Parry's article, SHOOTING BLANKS FROM THE BENCH, in The American Spectator today. I don't subscribe to TAS (due to budget restraints, I chose Surber over TAS) but I can still read the beginning of their articles.

I’ve had Cadillac sturgery on both eyes. Miraculous! Hope your procedure goes as well as mine did. Absolutely life-changing. I’m 70 and don’t need glasses.

You must have paid extra for a Cadillac sturgeon. I hear they are pricey.

Shoveltusker, I hope you get that I'm trying to laugh with you, not at you. I'm the king of typos myself. half of my keys stick and I type most comments at least three times before I get them half right. cheers!

Dear Chief Justice Roberts,

You have often expressed your desire that your court adhere to the highest rigors of judicial integrity, and to do so by being careful not to overstep the strict guardrails set out for it according to the Constitution.

If that is the true legacy you desire for this Court, then it should be more than apparent that this case now coming before you exemplifies the very antithesis of that effort.

The efforts of this Judge, and the plaintiffs in this case have not just stepped well beyond the parameters of their legal jurisdiction, they have doubled down, and as a result threaten the entirety of the very Constitutional order that has enabled this country to hold together for nearly 250 years.

If you desire the legacy of your court to be one that most deliberately and lawfully is dedicated and determined to uphold and adhere to the powers vested in the Separation of Powers, as sharply and clearly defined in our Constitution, you should not only put an end to this obstructionist and, dare I say, insurrectionist effort by this judge and the plaintiffs, but do so in the most resounding and pronounced manner possible, to the extent that this judge, or others who might dare to do likewise, be held in the utmost grievous contempt, having so egregiously and willfully disregarded his lawful duties, all the law, and his oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

To do otherwise, Chief Justice, will result in your legacy in history to be that of the man who aided in bringing about the ruin of this great nation, by permitting the very destruction of the Constitutional guardrails that alone have preserved it for the last 250 years.

Sincerely,

Suzie

Hope all goes smoothly with your cataract surgery. Thanks for keeping me sane. And, God bless the U.S.A.

Skinnydip's avatar

Best of luck with the cataract surgery, Don. My wife and I have both had it done, and it's life enhancing.

I don't think these rogue judges actually expect to have their decisions upheld. Their goal is to be a thorn in Trump's side and just delay as long as possible him carrying out his lawful duties. Hope SCOTUS slaps them down hard and ends this once and for all.
