A beautiful Methodist church I can see from my front porch went woke. It is empty now. So sad.

Destroying the living church is on the same agenda as destroying the family, the schools, children's sports, the fabric of our communities.

The church is under attack because it pulls believers together for solidarity but the PsyOp can't have that.

What scares me is what will occupy the church buildings when the true teaching fall away.

Yes. And look what homosexuality has done to the Catholic Church.

A few years ago I was on a business trip and had the opportunity and the time between gigs to drive through Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I chose to avoid the interstates and take only state roads which took me through small towns by the dozens. In almost every town I passed at least one church which was flying a rainbow flag. And this was in April, not June.

I think that it was not just about going woke, but that the churches were trying whatever they could to get more bodies into the pews. Of course, it doesn’t work because homosexuality, and especially the celebration of it, is anathema to biblical teaching. So the churches can’t have it both ways and survive.

donald b welch's avatar

another problem is that the more women take over positions of authority in these churches the more leverage gays and lesbians have because women are much more sympathetic to that group than men are...on aggregate. it's almost irreversible now.

Yeah, but in the end, a scarcity of dollars and cents will catch up with them. Any church that depends for its operation on no more than 10% of the population -- and probably a lot less -- is skating on thin ice.

that's a good point. when the donks get back in charge (and i am sure they will) i'm also sure these groups will figure out a way to get taxpayer assets redistributed to them without us even knowing it.

During the 1960's many fags, worried about being court martialed if they were drafted, sought to enter the priesthood. The Catholic Church decided that celibate was celibate whether the person was straight or queer.

Unfortunately the perverts didn't give up their perversity and began molesting young boys.

At the time, few men were wanting to become priests, and the shortage was a concern.

That sickness is spreading to more churches.

Homosexuals experience a lot of rejection in their own minds brought on by the inner knowledge that what they are doing is wrong. They project that condemnation onto others and believe that people hate them for being homosexuals when it is their own conscience condemning them.

I could never understand the thousand little troublemaking agendas that seemed to plague this nation, but now I do: it's to bring down the last surviving democratic republic on the planet, and each little sub-agenda is doing its part, especially the alphabet people. A Canadian friend - Albertan, no less - says, "Oh, they HAVE to take down the United States, by any means possible. You are the Last Man Standing, and if they lose you they lose the world. Don't give in - you are the world's last hope." Damn....

Since history has stopped being taught in schools beginning around the time of Carter's Dept. of Education was formed, people are not learning from the mistakes of those that preceded them. History was replaced by Social Studies which should have been called "Socialist Studies". And here we are today.

If you are looking for Civil Rights Leaders to rename The Harvey Milk, I will recommend former Republican Congressman

Robert Smalls. Robert Smalls was born a slave in 1839. At age 14, His master hired him out to the owner of the steamship Planter in Charleston. In the early morning hours of May 13, 1862, Smalls (aged 22) freed himself, his crew, their families and 4 Confederate harbor defense cannons by commandeering the ship, and sailing it from the Confederate-controlled waters past Fort Sumter to the U.S. blockade that surrounded the harbor. After his escape Smalls worked as a civilian with the Navy until March 1863, when he was transferred to the Army. By his own account, Smalls was present at 17 major battles and engagements in the Civil War. He was later elected to the United States Congress as a Republican.

I have a copy of the official South Carolina Public School state history textbook adopted in 1940. It does not mention Robert Smalls.

Late in his life Democrats used lawfare to end his political career.

in a way it is misogynistic. men taking advantage of weak women. in other ways perhaps not so much. the idea that women and men are equal has been being sold for fifty years and it's complete bovine scatology. billions of women now believe that and it is hurting civilization and at some point may destroy it. so as to appear strong and independent women now have stopped making babies. where that leads is easy to comprehend if one takes a minute to digest the reality.

Betsy's sewing room was incredibly small as was her house. In NJ, we got a good education in American History. Of course, there re those who are now casting doubt on the story of Betsy Ross, saying it is a myth. Having lived in the belly of the beast-so to speak-I can honestly say the lgbt+ focused community is not fun. I know many gay and lesbians that reject the flag and the community at large. Being disruptive, adversarial and agitators is not conducive to community or anyones well being. First and foremost I (we) am (are) an American. I bleed red, white and blue. No. Matter. What.

Expand full comment
TeaPartyGal's avatar

I think that "being disruptive, adversarial, and agitators" is making those people feel like they have a purpose, and a value. It is a very sad substitute for a genuine, constructive purpose, and for having value because God created you and profoundly loves you.

The fact that so many gays cling so strongly to the PRIDE/LGBT agenda, shows what a powerful, essential, innate desire it is in humans to HAVE a purpose and a value. But in the end, the PRIDE/LGBT theology will prove to have been a poor substitute for "the real thing"--a false god. Ultimately, only the living presence of the real God will satisfy these hungry hearts.
