10/05/25: What's so superb about it is its creator's sense of humor.

Hakeem is now a Looney Tunes Hollywood cartoon character in the 1940s.

--- "First, Harvard added remedial math and English for students. Now it is giving them a Drag Queen Story Hour. What’s next? Coloring books and crayons?"

No, what's next at Harvard are the remedial coloring book and crayon courses for the DEI students who flunked those courses in high school.

The same classrooms that are now part-time used for the Harvard remedial English and math courses will now be booked seven days a week.

--- "The bad people are the exceptions and that makes them newsworthy.

"Which is why 90% of the news these days is about politicians and actors."

Shush! Don't wise them up! The above is the only reason why I can ignore the first 70 pages of the NY Post before getting to the sports section.

--- 1,000 news headlines (2025): "Elon Musk & Tesla Are Doomed!"

Didn't happen. Another reason why I zip right to the sports section, where --- for some strange reason --- reporters are prohibited from stating, "Yesterday, the NY Giants won a game scheduled to be played on this coming Sunday."

--- "This would not have happened if my mean old wife..."

Now, now! Let's show her some respect, shall we? "Mean Old Wife..."

--- Is there anything more age-old rancid / senile / faux-WASPy obnoxious than the utterly and quietly deranged Peggy Noonan?

Yes. 60 Minutes fraudster Leslie Stahl.

I don't care how many limos they get into and out of --- these are the fruits of the 1950 pool rooms glamorized by Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason. Thanks, guys!

The SPLC really are vermin. They fundraise by scaring wealthy and dimwitted Good White People™, making them believe that down south and throughout the hinterlands, in Donald Trump's America, armies of white supremacists are gathering and lurking, and at any moment could descend upon communities of color to murder and enslave the darkies.

And all that stands between the helpless colored people and the resurgent KKK are Morris Dees's cadre of selfless, valiant lawyers, who desperately need their dollars to fight the good fight.

Item 2: Late on Friday, Hamas accepted the offer it couldn’t refuse.

Hamas response did not sound anything like an acceptance to me, but rather a requirement to continue further negotiations, and a fairly blanket statement that they choose to remain a part of any new Palestinian framework governing Gaza.

How Trump spins this into a “win”, I do not understand. The plan was sold as “take it or leave it”, and they clearly did not take it. This is extremely disturbing.

The hostages are their only card to play and they know it. They know they’re done for without them. They’ll never give them up until they get what they want, which is totally unacceptable. Surrender is not a word in the Islamic vocabulary.

Hamas is merely exercising the traditional islamic method of taqquia, whereby mohammadans are allowed, in fact encouraged by their "holy book" to lie to kfirs like Trump. They will continue to do so unless they are uprooted forcibly. I do not think Trump really has the stomach for that, although he may wink at Netanyahu should Israel decide they have had enough and decide to actually take Trump up on his offer and "finish the job."

I don't get it either, Vicki. And this whole idea of "identifying as a woman", seems to be focused on a very, very, narrow concept of woman--i.e., a stereotype of fashion and make-up. They don't seem to want to express themselves as a woman by finding a baby to nurture, or by being a housewife, etc. And fashion-wise, they never want to dress up as a hippie woman, or an executive woman, etc. They are exclusively interested in dressing up as an exaggerated "glamour girl".
