Cat is slipping-100% FAFO-MT answered my ? late-it's important enough to repost it:

Short answer "No". Pope Leo XIV looks to the Bible for answers. He is opposed to gay marriage and transgender LGBTQWXYZ ...or ..whatever. His most liberal stance is the sympathy toward "immigration"...I have read a few X posts, where he states immigration is a problem to many and "we" must find a remedy...or words to that effect.

Most dismiss his past critiques of President Trump and VP Vance...So, we will see.

From my perspective Pope Francis was born and raised in a Socialist Country, that was his foundation. Pope Leo XIV was born and raised in the Constitutional Republic of the USA, very big foundational difference. Time will tell.

But I don't care all that much because I can communicate with God anywhere, anytime and anyplace. The Pope is not going to have an affect on my relationship with God.

Ex-CBS News "anchor" Norah O’Donnell made MILLIONS of dollars pretending that she was anything other than a "news actress."

Her family now runs a restaurant (in, of course, WDC). And restaurants thrive on easily replaceable illegal-aliens to do the dirty work. OOPS, RAIDED!

"We were, of course, all Social-Democrats [in Austria in the 1920s-30s]... few of [the party's top officials were from] working class background[s]. Most of them came from well-to-do middle-class homes.

"They were idealists, do-gooders many of them... Their conscious motives were absolutely sincere. Their subconscious ones were guilt and fear.

"The guilt that drove them was the same that motivates so many middle-class people today, who ... turn to 'progressive' causes, SO LONG AS THEY CAN FORM AN ÉLITE OF THE LEFT AND ENJOY MORE EQUALITY THAN THE OTHERS."

A century later, the O'Donnell's Social-Democrat bistro-empire finds out that Trump isn't [euphemism] fooling around.

"ITEM 10: George Bush refused to attend the unveiling at the White House of a postage stamp honoring his mother."

George Bush has become a real P.O.S. He refuse to make eye-contact or shake Trump's hand at the Jimmy Carter funeral, despite being within arm's reach of the president of the United States, and now will be a "no-show" apparently to avoid Trump once again. They'd have to meet and shake hands.

GWB has chosen to be a very small human being.

#31 just a story about an unlicensed illegal alien. So you have to hear my unlicensed illegal alien rant.

Director Bob Clark, who brought us A Christmas Story, and his son were killed by an illegal alien drunk driver in 2007.

Police determined that the SUV's driver, Héctor Manuel Velázquez-Nava, had a blood alcohol level of three times the legal limit and was driving without a license.[15] Velazquez-Nava was described by federal authorities as being in the U.S. illegally.[16] The driver initially pleaded not guilty to two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter,[17] but changed his plea … and was sentenced to six years.
He served 3 before being released and deported. Velazquez-Nava was later caught re-entering the US.

The White House has fired shots at Minnesota Democrats following the tragic death of a mother allegedly caused by an illegal immigrant charged with driving under the influence. In a pointed statement, the administration condemned local officials for their refusal to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, accusing them of prioritizing political ideology over public safety.

An illegal immigrant from Ecuador, German Adriano Llangari Inga, is facing several felony and misdemeanor charges for drunk driving last year, which resulted in a crash killing Victoria Eileen Harwell, and hurting her teenage daughter and sister.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Llangari Inga was arrested for criminal vehicular homicide in Minnesota in August 2024. ICE placed a detainer request with the Hennepin County Jail, but the jail released him without ICE notifying him. Llangari Inga, who was unlawfully present in the U.S. at the time of the crash, originally entered the country in 2016 and was already undergoing removal proceedings.

Don, another comment on Item 31: Per Matt Walsh a couple of days ago the "college student" in question also was unable to communicate with the officers, as she could not speak English. Nor could her mother, the car's owner. No big deal, we could say. Lots of immigrants don't. However, this particular illegal immigrant has been here for 15 YEARS!! Anyone with an IQ above 90 or so can learn a new language at least at a rudimentary level within 6 months, if they just want to. Even Mandarin.

So, we are just a rent-a-country then, except we pay them for being here and not learning our language.

I find this insulting to our country and to us. If you move to a new country for purposes of remaining and working or studying there, it would seem necessary if not compulsory to communicate in the business language of the nation.
