We now find out FJB's Executive Orders and laws were signed with an Autopen? Does that render them all null and void? Good God. It gets worse and worse.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

If it nullifies everything Biden did, including his "preemptive pardons", that would be "better and better".

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

But SCOTUS will probably twist it like a pretzel and side with the Autopen.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

At some point, it would really be nice if we could get the Name (or Names) of who was really "operating the Autopen"/"running the country" those 4 years. You know, us being a "democracy" and all.

Jeremy R's avatar

Jill, Susan, Barry and George are the first four who come to mind.

Gail W's avatar

I don't think Jill is that smart. Frankly I don't think Barry is that smart either! I think he was just a more coherent sock puppet like FJB was!

I'm thinking it was more like Soros, Klaus Schwab, Ron Klain (sp?), Podesta. Something like that.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Valjar is ozeros brain spine and ambition !!

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Yes, and I don't think Susan Rice is smart either. She just blindly takes orders. So it definitely wasn't her "running the country".

Jeremy R's avatar

All you need to do is place the document, position the pen and push a button.....

I see your point.

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

Yeah, kinda like a tag team. They probably took turns babysitting while the others were jet setting around the world.

JT's avatar

Samantha Powers, Victoria Nuland, Blinken and Sullivan.... at the direction of Obama and all owned by Soros. I'm pretty sure there was some nudging by Schumer and Pelosi as well.

Reddog's avatar

I don’t think it is a constitutional issue yet. Right now we need to know who was running the country during those four years. Then it will become a criminal issue. It needs daylight and we have almost no investigative journalist left.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Totally agree, this is a gigantic issue and it's outrageous that we don't know the answer. Someone(s) WAS (were) running the most powerful country on Earth, and WE DON'T KNOW WHO !!!!!!

And the idiot Left media was part of the fraud.

Roaring Chicken's avatar

Where have the whistleblowers and leakers been? I can't believe a patriotic person who knew the answers didn't speak up. Maybe they were afraid of being Arkancided.

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

It will be investigated for 10 years. Maybe even countless Senate Committees where we will hear the usual bloviating bull shit. Then it will just fade away like everything else.

The Swamp is really good at this.

Subvet's avatar

Actually we do have some investigative journalist. Tucker Carlson, and all the blog sites like PJ Media, Town Hall, etc. Even the FBI has one in Kash Patel.

Suzie's avatar

But we now have the FBI, which is better.

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

Don't be counting on the FBI just yet.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Kash will beat the money/power hungry parasites in the fibbee office.please be patient as fhe shit is deep.

Cookie McCall's avatar

Another job for Catherine Herridge!

BubblePuppy7's avatar

So, SCOTUS will probably rule against POTUS on the use of AOTUS to enact legislation for US. “Oh, what a tangled web we weave…”

Gail W's avatar

How much do we think - and hope- the evildoers are FREAKING OUT right about now!!?? 🤣

Cookie McCall's avatar

their document shredders are running overtime

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

So amen and praying !!

Jeremy R's avatar

His mental state should render everything he did null and void with the exception of soiling his depends.

And his inappropriate touching of children.

Reddog's avatar

Once AI takes over, everything will be signed that way. ……….including our death certificates.

VICKI's avatar

I am against AI because a decade from now, robots will be running the world and humans will be in pens like farm animals. No, I"m not crazy, it's how I see it.

Don Reed's avatar

03/08/25: Pre-emptively.

Don Reed's avatar

03/08/25: Call Biden. Ask him if he can name (remember) ten of the orders that he signed.

"ITEM 6: ... “Alberta lawyer Jeffrey Rath says a delegation is planning to travel to D.C. to pitch President Trump on Alberta statehood.”

Don Surber: "Fine but they still have to change their name to Gay North Dakota. OK, maybe Gay Montana since they share a border."

DPR: "More Gay Than Montana." Can we get all that on a license plate? "GayMore"?

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Great idea to ask Biden "if he can name (remember) ten of the orders that he signed". He might vaguely recall one or two, but 10 would be beyond his capacity.

Don Reed's avatar

03/09/25: "Joe, this is a gallon of --- HEY! Hands off, don't touch!!! --- of the finest ice cream known to mankind. How would you like to have some? You would, wouldn't you? I thought so. All you have to do now is improve your recall of ----"

At which point, he'll recite the exact title of every speech and oration and book that he's ever plagiarized, before identifying every executive order that his Chiefs of Staff signed for him, the contents of which he's only found out about since January, when he was re-potted head-first into the sands of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Suzie's avatar

It’s really not that cut and dried, if he was in favor of what was being signed in his name, which he mostly was. There are all sorts of legal and illegal angles at play in this revelation, so don’t get your hopes up. But it’s not nothing.

Jeremy R's avatar

A good liar could make the case, given how his positions have vasilated over the years that he was in favor of everything he was against for a price.

Err lawyer.

Frank houck's avatar

Another great week. Thanks Don.

Jake's avatar

I think you missed a big one this week. An AG is questioning the legality of FJB signing all those EO's at the end and disbursing funds like the 20 billion slush fund into a bank. That might be a hinting of a storm ahead. If they can prove he wasn't signing the docs but a staffer was, all those actions are illegal and unconstitutional.

I also like the one where the Trumpster is questioning the location of the Canadian border line. He's got Trudeau crying at press conferences. This will really put his panties in a wad...

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

Andrew Bailey. AG of Missouri. Really smart guy.

Think the argument is everything was signed with an "Autopen". I would guess when and if it gets to SCOTUS Roberts and Barrett will side with the Autopen.

geraldsd's avatar

She’s afraid. Robert’s visited Epstein.

Subvet's avatar

That's my take. She's worried about her 6 (?) children. I think Roberts is being blackmailed. Either way they can'r be counted on.

Adorable Deplorable's avatar

That would explain things.

Stanley Yelnats's avatar

Do you think there’s a “ thing” going on between Barrett and Roberts?

geraldsd's avatar

I couldn’t say. Roberts has always been a squishy bastard and Barrett never a shining star…by any definition…

Gail W's avatar

I know. This is such a great time to be alive!!!

I'm not tired of WINNING yet!

🎉🎉🎉

Cookie McCall's avatar

add to that all FJB's pardons as he was exiting the stage - those were some really bad dudes he gave the get out of jail free card to

Alice Ball's avatar

I wake up every day and think, what will they find today?! It’s a whirlwind, and a great one at that. Thank God for DJT and his ability to see the issues, not fall for the DC BS, and pick the right people to clean out the filthy nasty swamp. As he said, you’re going to get tired of winning!!——never!! Great polls Don, happy weekend to all.

William Coulter's avatar

I saw that 86% of toilet paper in Canada comes from the US. This situation with Canada could get smelly very quickly.

Gail W's avatar

OMG if that is accurate that is HILARIOUS!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 THANKS for that tidbit!

Jeremy R's avatar

The irony is that we also imported toilet paper from Canada. Slightly more in fact.

The crazy thing is that most of the world doesn't use toilet paper. A Biden is the most common way.

Err bidet. My bad.

Douglas Baringer's avatar

While discussing the political musings on our phones this morning, my wonderful wife mentioned that "they may need to buy more brooms for Trump, he will wear them out cleaning up the government so fast"!

Jeremy R's avatar

Or just borrow them from HiLlARy, Nasty Pelosi and Horizontal Harris. They don't need to travel.

Great "Good Fellas" gif.

Petula Clark’s Don’t Sleep in the Subway was once a love song, Now it’s a Public Service Announcement....and should be broadcast as background music in the Subway.

I'm starting to wake up early on Saturday mornings just to read Don's "Highlights of the Week" and now I can go back to bed and savor The Good News.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Loved the police who brought donuts to the toddler!

Subvet's avatar

One of my best friends is now a retired cop. When we used to get together I would bring a donut. He would swear at me then throw the donut in the trash.

Jeremy R's avatar

Years ago I stopped for donuts as I was taking my boys to school. My youngest picked a cherry donut, but after taking a bite, set it aside.

Several days later I got stopped by the PD. As I leaned across to retrieve my insurance card, I spotted that donut on the floor, picked it up and exclaimed, " damn your nose is good. "

The officer let out a laugh, returned to his car and left.

Subvet's avatar

That was a risky move. If he had been an asshat you'd have been thrown in the slammer.

It is funny though.

Jeremy R's avatar

#8. He served 61 days. To his credit, he did as much for Houston in those 61 days as Sheila Jackson Lee did in 29 years, nothing.

geraldsd's avatar

Anyone that voted for Sheila Jackson Lee for 29 years deserves nothing.

Jeremy R's avatar

Finally. My birds laid eleven eggs yesterday. In return , I fed them a pail of ground corn. That corn cost me $7 a bushel. I get nearly four days worth of feed from a bushel, so under $2 a dozen. I buy my feed in bulk, and store it in barrels in a shed beside the coop. I have about 30 hens. In summer I get about two dozen eggs per day.

Yes, it takes time and effort to take care of them. About fifteen minutes per day.

I've had two next-door neighbors that kept chickens, and been the grateful regular recipient of the best eggs I've had in my life for several years. So fresh. The contrast with grocery story eggs is stark--apparently grocery eggs are much more aged. When I made scrambled eggs on lower heat and put a lid on the pan, they fluffed up incredibly. Grocery store eggs never do that. And so much more flavor than grocery eggs.

They do need an enclosed caged area (meaning top needs to be covered as well). Then no predators. One neighbor had an 8'x12' cage enclosed on sides and top, and on rollers on the bottom, so he could move it around his yard. The chicken's droppings fertilized the soil and he got good grass wherever their cage had been.

Another neighbor had a sides-and-top cage within a much larger side-fenced area. It was an extra step of work for him, but he let them out into the bigger area during the day to range free, then shooed them into the top covered smaller area at night for safety.

Jeremy R's avatar

They free range my yard. They tend to not wander more than a few hundred feet from the coop.

Predators can be a problem. I had a bobcat that was killing quite a few. Coyotes can also destroy a flock. I only let them out of the run when I'm home in the afternoons for that reason.

We've had several times when all the local stores were out of eggs, both during covid, and recently.

My run is fairly large, bigger than some city back yards. It's got top cover to keep hawks out and I connected a wire around it to my cattle fence to deter coons from climbing.

For a typical family, six to ten birds would be more than enough.

I've got a close friend with eight kids. They go through a lot of eggs. In return he helps me with stuff on weekends and evenings.

I’d forgotten the Petula Clark song. Apt for the times.

Haitian gang bangers should be roasted on an open spit.

Jim Nelson's avatar

It's already been done in Port-au-Prince. I am told that gangbangers taste like chickens**t.

Jeremy R's avatar

Well, Jesus at one point cast out demons and sent them into a herd of pigs, so there's biblical precedent.

Cutting the bureaucracy is crucial. Cutting the head off the snake is even more important. The senior lackeys need to go, not just the noobs. We also need to start impeaching and unseating federal judges. The idea of our Constitution was not that an activist judge can stop the gears of government whenever a President signs a constitutionally correct executive order they don't like.

The Democrats are flailing. The Republicans can consolidate their gains into 2026 by getting on board with Trump's agenda. The people voted for it. They should deliver it. I'm not expecting 100% compliance, but the Democrats consistently stick together, even if it is over stupid, repulsive stuff. Republicans on the other hand form up into a circular firing squad at every opportunity. Primary the troublemakers. If we can win in 2026 we can keep this going a long time.

The existence of federal employee unions should be challenged in court. I don't believe government employees should be allowed to unionize. Create legislation if necessary to make it illegal. It's unfair to the taxpayers who pay their salaries that we are not represented in any negotiation with these unions.

Do you not wonder what everybody in government did all day long before Trump? If it wasn't for Trump, nothing good would be happening. That includes Republicans. They did nothing for the citizens for decades. And they are still in many cases trying to protect the status quo. If you like being ripped off and lied to, keep voting for the same bums.

MUSH ON DOGE! The atrocious $ waste has been ongoing in the midst of both Republican and Democrat presence in DC for years. Bureaucrat waste took a team of total outsiders to expose. The value of our currency, and what you can buy for a dollar compared to 1960, is a reflection of the waste and overprinting of money. DOGE, please continue to forge ahead through the bureaucrat blizzard of resistance!
