It’s a start, Jake, but google the number of voter precincts we have in the US. And remember, we have state governments actively trying to cover up their vote counting and voter rolls.
Pew Research put out a 52% item - # of Americans that view Facebook daily…..Zuckerberg and Silicon commie-for-the-peeps Billionaire buds just need to chip in a few $100 (million to them) into Dark-PACs a rustle up enough homeless ‘provisional’ voters….
Seems like Elon has more $$ than Zuck and others. And Elon is investing in the mid terms, as he sees the consequences for him if Dems win and communism/socialism is enacted nationwide.
Love this - postal service can choke off the Covid-Era ballot grab. The Commie/Dems have been going kinetic on Trump and Charlie Kirk, surely with chips All-In on this one, things are going to escalate more. BLM, US Palestinian rallies, Iranian/Chinese/Cuban/WhoKnowsElse illegals are going to ‘bring out some more ‘Mainly peaceful acts on the Bourgeoise’…
The one thing that disturbs me is Jared Kushner's meeting with Hakeem Jeffries. That tells me that Trump thinks there is a good chance they will lose the House.
Trump has done everything but use the Army to get the GOP majority to act and save themselves. Yet John Kennedy is still crying for campaign cash even though his coffers are full. John Thune doesn't care about voting enough to keep the Senate in DC until he gets a vote. The party can’t come up with an original talking point to save their own lives nor can they campaign on their accomplishments which are few. So let Trump run the country on his own and if he wants to make a deal with the Dems, maybe someone should ask John Thune why?
Whys is that exactly? I am not sure what Jared's role is except son in law who is very rich and probably trustworthy. I thought Hakeem was not a threat UNTIL I read his background and education, now I'm a little afraid of him. The name Hakeem is a little worrisome for me also. Thoughts?
I'm convinced Hakeem is a hard-core commie, and the worst thing about the Democrats taking the House is that Hakeem would become 3rd in line for the Presidency after Trump and Vance. You think the ass*ssination threats are high now, imagine it then.
So sad that we just can’t trust our elections to be honest. Has there ever been a Republican candidate that “won” like so many democrats have e.g. JFK. As Stalin is supposed to have said it’s not the votes that count but who counts the votes that count.
This midterm election will depend entirely upon turnout. Both parties constituencies are not thrilled about it, but Democrats would vote for Ghengis Khan if they had to, because, Trump.
Our choices is between life and death. Choose life. Get out and Vote and vote Republican.
I keep hearing a bunch of bashing of Paxton but I'm not sure why. What is he accused of/ what has been proven?? I've heard some personal smears regarding a divorce or something but IDK details.
Personally I LOVE PAXTON because he's a FIGHTER (for all the right things, as far as I'm aware of) like Trump!
Pretty much ALL of those are 'features', not 'bugs' in my view.
Until there is any kind of level playing field, IMO we have to fight fire with fire. We're in this predicament because GOP insisted upon playing by Marquess of Queensbury rules while the left has been engaged in a knife fight.
Personal failings. I don't care about his marital problems. The GOPe and dems went after him on the other legal stuff, got torched and many lost their seats in the process. He is no cleaner or dirtier than any other pol. But he hates the DC swamp, so I'm good with him.
Observing Paxton's campaign thus far in Texas, it doesn't play as particularly strong. He should be running more on his accomplishments as AG and immigration issues.
The personal bashing is all politically motivated and b*llsh*t.
Politics and politicians are generally speaking all filthy. I fear this rino-streak runs deeper than we know.
Current crop has a HUGE advantage but are they stepping up to take charge? I think not and that bothers me. It's a true uni-party and that doesn't work.
At talking and putting people on the spot but what has he done to sway his peers into getting something done? Talks cheap, accomplishments are what matters. Too early to start getting on that bandwagon right now. By my count Mr Gill has a lot of empty prison cells to fill before I jump on his wagon. Just keep count of his accomplishments.
First term rep doesn't have much juice. Most are never noticed. Gill is a player and will get more done as he rises in the ranks. He's like a second lieutenant right now. Smart but a lot of room to grow.
You might be right here but always give a critical eye to the Rep or Senator making the most noise early in a career. The list is long and their individual accomplishments are thin.
I live in SC and Trump has endorsed Darline "I don't know anything about Taiwan" Graham (Lindsey's sister)for Senator. And this is after he endorsed Pamela Evette the Lt. Governor (DEI) for Governor- who lost thank goodness! His bad endorsements have made people question him.
You are correct. No one in America is going to change their voting pattern and it is always about how many people are energized about issues enough to vote. This will be an election for the ages because if the issues this mid-term don't motivate you to vote, nothing ever will.
Even with a massive GOP turn out we need those Independents and likely some of the disenchanted Dems. The “aisle” separating the two party’s is getting a bit blurred.
The story the media refuses to report. Capitalism is based on supply and demand. When you import 20 million illegals, you increase the demand for everything by 20 million. Get it? Increased demand raises prices. Twenty million more beds, more mouths to feed, more bodies to clothe, more bodies to transport via whatever means, more mail-in ballots to print. Those increased demands and profligate Biden administration spending created the "affordability crisis." The Democratic Party intentionally designed and implemented those policies to depress the ordinary American family's faith in our country. Aside from Team Trump, the contemptable squishy GOP establishment refuses to clearly educate the public by stating these obvious facts. Oh no, their solution is another government regulatory program. Hey, Stupid! You solve the affordability problem by reducing demand. Get out there and repeatedly tell the public what happens when you deport the illegals. Affordability increases. Safety on the streets increases. Quality of life increases. Then watch the support for ICE increase.
The NAHB (National Assoc of Home Builders) announced on June 10 that "Home Building Regulatory Cost Burdens Increased 40% from 2021 to 2026". That happened largely during the unlamented FJB's single term; and it's due to all kinds of government-created burdens, from ever-more-restrictive zoning to ever-more-demanding construction standards.
But the unlamented FJB orchestrated yet another factor to increase housing costs: the unvetted, illegal importation of up to 20 million aliens. They wanted roofs over their heads too, but simple economics say that if demand for anything --- in this case, housing --- rapidly exceeds the supply, prices will shoot up even more than is justified by construction costs alone, and they have.
All this accounts for an unprecedented "affordability crisis" that affects especially young families; and that, in turn, bodes ill for domestic population growth.
The Dems like to describe their policies as "Social Injustice", which may have some credibility, as long as we ignore that THEY were the main culprits who orchestrated this mess.
Well said, Sir. SF Bay Area. Government fees, e.g., school, sewer, utility hookup, city & county building fees, environmental mitigation fees, etc., add more than $150,000 to the cost of building a single family home. Those costs do not include the more expensive materials you mention. It also excludes the additional cost requirement that tract builders provide "affordable units" (under market priced) to "low" income buyers. In Bay Area terms, low income means buyers with less than $125,000/year household income.
I'm 100% for putting roofs over the heads of these aliens, but I want that roof attached to a south bound bus that is speeding and I want them packed to the max.
I know I keep saying this, but although the media has frightening power, we must remember that there are 100 million -150 million or more of US. US!!!!!! And NOTHING can stop US from TALKING to the individuals that make up the American public. This DIRECT communication is powerful and can undercut the Left Media.
If WE get out there relentlessly and talk to our neighbors and everyone in every circle we circulate in, and with an attitude of kindness and respect relentlessly strengthen Republicans to turn out, and reach some chunks of the not-completely-insane Democrats, the power of US will be the deciding factor in the election.
Fishing yesterday with a young lady who told me she was raised in a union/democrat household that were voting republican because of the insanity taking over but staying dem registered. There is hope if we talk to others as T.P.G. preaches with kindness and gentle nudging into reality.
What words do we use to make Americans understand that Democrats championing “affordability” really means championing making Americans dependent, on the gov’t check kind of affordability. And American citizens can’t afford that kind of bondage.
I think more taxes are their plan. If you're not paying taxes, that's a good idea. I wonder where the majority of the unaffordable areas of the country are?? Asking for a friend.
The Senate map is winnable if Republicans treat mechanics as seriously as messaging. Iowa, Texas, Michigan, Alaska, Maine, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina — every close race turns on turnout, custody, rules, litigation, and who controls the count after the speeches end. The SAVE Act failure was malpractice. Polling panic is useless. Ballot discipline wins. Republicans need observers, lawsuits, chain-of-custody demands, voter-roll scrutiny, mail-ballot challenges, and issue warfare that reminds voters what Democrats actually believe: border surrender, gender madness, anti-Zionist poison, and bureaucratic rule. Election Night is not enough. Win the machinery.
All that is required to analyze the democrat party's electoral appeal is to observe the assemblage of lunatic white women standing outside the courthouse where the filicide Clancy is currently awaiting her verdict. Hannah Arendt once wrote a book about the "banality of evil," and if ever there was a case study of such a phenomenon, that is it. Those women look normal, like your mother, sister or even grandma, but their hearts are black as midnight, suffused with hatred of everything once considered normal, including a mother's love of her children, twisted by a campaign of mailcious propaganda that has no parallel in human history, the deconstruction of Christian morality. We see it as well in the deceptively-named "Womens" NBA, where the demand is for biological men who masquerade as women to be given recognition as such. We see it in the faces of the "trans rights" deviants, the "abolish ICE/defund the police" crowd, the black-clac and masked antifa rioters and the politicians who allow them to burn and loot in the name of "social justice" and "equity" and certainly, in the crowd of racist haters demanding "justice for Karmelo" after he premeditedly murdered another high school student. They are all the result of the breeder reactor of democrat politics, the deadly radiation from the glowing nuclear heart of hate that democrat party leadership, from Hillary Clinton through the current crop like Ossof, el Sayad, Piker, Mamdani, et al. It is their desire to throw off any pretext of societal norms and self-restraint and replace it with a hedonistic, solipsistic narcissism that demands more, MORE, MORE and never thinks about the consequences. The question remains: are they sufficient in numbers to ascend to political dominance, or are there yet enough traditional Americans who are willing to take the time and effort to become educated about their intentions if elected and then go out and vote in opposition to their destructive platform? Time will certainly tell, but I am not sanguine about the prospects.
Dems take abortion at any time seriously. Clancy is a mental case. I just read there's a copy cat in North Dakota. The couple is separating so the wife kills two kids and wounds a third. We're living in a Bizarro world right now.
True enough, Suzie. This midterm election will depend entirely upon turnout. Just a stab in the dark, but I think that is always the deciding factor. Republicans need to get off their dead asses and VOTE!
The number one issue is to stop late election night ballot dumps that ALWAYS give the Dem candidate just enough votes to win. THAT is our biggest obstacle.
There are more of us than them, yet we continue to lose elections that matter. Too many of us just don’t get up and go vote. We have met the enemy and he is us.
Sucks when you have the GOP majority in the three places that matter plus the right leaning court and you still can’t pass the SAVE act. Tell me again about all those GOP bills that they passed that made life better for us and all those investigations that put bad actors in prison and why the voters still dont give a damn?
Occam's Razor tells us that the reason Republicans failed to pass the SAVE Act, or even put it up for a vote, is that they DON'T want it to pass. So what does that tell us?
Several surveys said that a large majority of voters supported the SAVE act. Maybe it tells us we are supporting a party that does not care what their voters want.
I really don't know what Republicans actually stand for. If not for Trump, what do Republicans even publicly claim to be for? Vote for us because we're not them! That's about it. And when you can't even pretend to be for election integrity what the frick are you there for other than to enrich yourselves?
It's very tempting to lump all Republicans in the Senate together, but that is just causing us to be terminally discouraged. There are quite a few excellent and active Republicans in the Senate, and another chunk that are "OK" and have the potential to be more active/effective--for example, Ashley Moody, the Florida AG whom DeSantis recently appointed to replace Rubio. We know she's solid MAGA, and solidly-capable; but is yet to "hit-her-stride" as a leader.
Another is the freshman Senator from Montana--Tim Sheehy. He's a former Navy Seal and I'm convinced he's hardcore MAGA and will become a force to reckon with.
I don't lump all of them together. I correctly point out that there are always the required handfull of them necessary to scuttle our agenda. They have always fooled us into believing they are on our side, yet they never can get a win for us even when they are in charge, can they. And most of the time they are our Leadership! I'm a realist and am not just a cheerleader for them. We need to find a way to purge and expunge these Deep State plants from our party or we will never win. How can you dispute this when you see we can't/won't even pass the SAVE Act?
But the number of RINO's IS being significantly reduced, mainly by Trump exposing them and hammering on them. And it is also up to US to get involved in the state Republican Party apparatuses, where the decision is made as to which candidates for Congress they want to push and support.
And if we can simultaneously increase our margin in the Senate and House, that also would dis-empower the recalcitrant jerks.
I don't dispute this at all. We DO need to change the balance of power within in the Republicans in the Senate.
I'm just saying that when times are rough it is not helpful to paint things as even worse by dismissing those Republicans who ARE working for MAGA and/or have the near-term potential to be. It's emotionally tempting to hate the whole Congress but is more accurate to recognize there is a dedicated segment that IS working for MAGA.
There are some strong leaders but they dont have much clout yet. But you don’t win elections unless the team has accomplished enough things that the voters are energized. And that is where we currently are setting. Some good folks for sure but right now too many duds working against us.
It is impossible to solve a problem before you actually understand what it is. To get the right answer you have to ask the right questions. I'm tired of the Deep State controlling our party and always having the ability to derail our agenda whenever they choose.
It really is depressing isn't it? I'd say flush all the Rinos down the d@mn toilet, but they'd just clog up the whole system! Oh, wait; they're doing that now!
It is both depressing and disgusting. It always comes down to having to hold our noses and choose between the insane progressives or the utterly worthless RINOs. The most we get out of voting for Republicans is to slow down the agenda of the collectivist left who want to destroy our country and political/economical systems. We never move the ball over the goal line. The Deep State and RINOs only let us move it between the 20 yard lines. Whenever Republicans have the temerity to enter the RED zone, there will always be a McCain, or a Thune, or a McConnell...Murkowski...Tillis.... you get the drift. The Deep State always has their agents on the ready to scuttle any true win Republicans could have. Yeah, depressing, but necessary to vote for the slugs so we can deter the snakes.
Xi doesn't own anyone. Well, maybe the Turtle and his wife and Fang Fang's disgraced lover. But the "beauty" of the Deep State is that there is no single boss. Even if those whom we despise (like Soros) were jailed tomorrow, the Deep State would merrily continue. It's a hive, like the Borg only less attractive, and everyone knows what the marching orders are without those orders being formally issued.
It's an incredibly stacked deck with probably no solution except revolution. Which with the makeup of our populace today would likely resemble 1789 France instead of 1776 America.
I heard Xi was in dire need of more money as the Chinese economy is collapsing - so he has upped the price for fake ballots, DNC is out of money and cannot purchase ballots at the going rate - this will be why Republicans hold the Senate. Xi is likely to just buy more Senators, same as he did to prevent the Save Act from passing so he can continue to sell mail in ballots.
Sounds good but any actual facts or proof of that? I suspect some truth to your comment but we lose elections because not enough of a bade majority gets up and votes. And too many states refuse to clean up their voter rolls. China is a problem for sure but it likely doesn't decide elections. We do by not voting.
First off, impeachments come from the House. They go to the Senate to die. While there are some Rinos there, Xi does not have enough to convict. Also, it would be insane for the Dems to actually get rid of Trump. They would have Vance for less than two years which means he could run for two terms against them and in 2032 would have the advantage of more electoral votes because of the upcoming census. Add to that, a group of Dems are now starting to maneuver for a run for President and things should get fun. And who knows what will happen in the election? Most of the races and the nasty ads have not even begun.
If the Dem's impeached Trump, there would then be heavy ass*ss*nation pressure on JD Vance. (Because Hakeem Jeffries would be 3rd in line for Presidency.) Vance would have to immediate get a new Vice President in place that would be very strong (like Rubio).
Maybe Republicans should actually try doing something for a change? Give voters a reason to vote Republican other than that they're not Democrats. Why should anyone vote for any of them?
I remain hopelessly optimistic about the house on two counts:
1) cleaned up voter roles
2) commies chasing democrats out of the party
Number three: USPS shortstopping fraudulent mail in ballots.
I forgot number four: USAID et al are gone. DNC is broke. RNC is flush with access to money.
the rnc is corrupt. example...it supports thune.
Don, mc?
RNC, it looked like MC on my screen too . MC works too, morons in Congress.
now that's funny jr.
Plus DJT has his OWN PAC.👍
Maybe money no longer matters. Maybe the newest voting currency is how many stupid, ignorant, and selfish voters you can reach.
Number five: The Trumpster is putting 1000 poll watchers on station.
It’s a start, Jake, but google the number of voter precincts we have in the US. And remember, we have state governments actively trying to cover up their vote counting and voter rolls.
Don't need to watch all polling places. There are key places for key races.
I like the way you count, Jake!

Plus Act Blue has had its fraud and corruption exposed; hence fewer “small dollar” donations.

Number 5.
ActBlue under multiple investigations.
No celebration till incarceration.
I never give up hope.
Pray without ceasing. It really does become a habit. Think Tevye in "Fiddler On The Roof."
The one thing that disturbs me is Jared Kushner's meeting with Hakeem Jeffries. That tells me that Trump thinks there is a good chance they will lose the House.

So let Trump run the country on his own and if he wants to make a deal with the Dems, maybe someone should ask John Thune why?
Trump has the guts to be wise enough to try and set up back-up plans.
Trump has to deal with reality, and if the Dems get the House, we will all be glad for any cooperation he can get, no matter how small.
Nobody knows what the Trumpster thinks. Dems have tried and failed every time.
One of his greatest assets, both domestically and internationally.
Whys is that exactly? I am not sure what Jared's role is except son in law who is very rich and probably trustworthy. I thought Hakeem was not a threat UNTIL I read his background and education, now I'm a little afraid of him. The name Hakeem is a little worrisome for me also. Thoughts?

Isn't that a horrifying thought??? We need to be sure that news is out front for voters to think about!!!
08/24/26: Speaking of Stephen Furst (“Flounder!”), let’s sashay over to…
Dean Wormer in Animal House (1978):
Stage name: John Keith Vernon (1932-2005)
Real name: Adolphus Agopsowicz
Only needed 50,000 CCP votes to legally change his name in California.
So sad that we just can’t trust our elections to be honest. Has there ever been a Republican candidate that “won” like so many democrats have e.g. JFK. As Stalin is supposed to have said it’s not the votes that count but who counts the votes that count.
It's sad that most of us picked "Xi simply buys more GOP senators." I did.
This midterm election will depend entirely upon turnout. Both parties constituencies are not thrilled about it, but Democrats would vote for Ghengis Khan if they had to, because, Trump.
Our choices is between life and death. Choose life. Get out and Vote and vote Republican.
Paxton is not squeaky clean but he'll do until Brandon Gill is ready for the Senate....
Smart guy, ego driven, morally flawed, ethically flawed, gets results, thick skinned. Better than the alternative by a mile.
Thanks for that input.
But the rules are about all that separate us from them.
I know. And therein lies the conundrum.
You want to keep playing by the rules and be right and dead or be a little morally ambiguous and alive for another day to right the ship?
I'm all for 'bending the arc' back in the direction of sanity ASAP because imo we do not have much before our ruination becomes inevitable.
If it is even retrievable at this point. It's far from certain.
Personal failings. I don't care about his marital problems. The GOPe and dems went after him on the other legal stuff, got torched and many lost their seats in the process. He is no cleaner or dirtier than any other pol. But he hates the DC swamp, so I'm good with him.

The personal bashing is all politically motivated and b*llsh*t.
Do you live in TX W.?? Hopefully after Labor Day (when campaigns truly start) he'll tune up his campaign. 🙏
I swear that Republicans are such political MORONS, it amazes me that ANY of them EVER win anywhere. (Other than DJT) 🤦♀️
Comment of the day. Gunfights start after labor day.
I am not native but got here as quick as I could.
Politics and politicians are generally speaking all filthy. I fear this rino-streak runs deeper than we know.
Current crop has a HUGE advantage but are they stepping up to take charge? I think not and that bothers me. It's a true uni-party and that doesn't work.
Stay the course.
🙏
Especially compared to the (im)moral lives of Dem politicians...could they be any more disgusting?
The pure dem candidates are whack-a-moles. Batsh*t crazy and they keep popping up.
I think Brandon Gill is excellent!
Maturing nicely. Should be great when the time is right. He is and should be considerate of his Family.

As in Gowdy ?
the bulldog had no teeth, all bark, no bite, a pathetic excuse for a man.
Among others. Lots of barkers with no teeth.
I’m actually seeing a tad of hate-Trump fatigue where I live. It’s so exhausting and gets them nothing.
It may come down to how bad the weather is on election day whether the Dims scrape up the turnout.
She will be hard to push across the finish line I believe. Nice lady, no experience.
AOC anyone? Experience doesn't seem to matter nowadays unless you're a Republican.
I also question this endorsement, though I think she may have made a couple promises, specifically dumping the filibuster, which satisfied him.
But questioning some PDJT decisions _never_ makes me question him as President.
You are correct. No one in America is going to change their voting pattern and it is always about how many people are energized about issues enough to vote. This will be an election for the ages because if the issues this mid-term don't motivate you to vote, nothing ever will.
We need the independents to swing our way a little. Too big to rig worked in 2024.

I personally know two life long Democrats who will be voting Republican in Michigan. Between the Akbars and sleezy Nessel, they're done.
Fishing yesterday with a young lady who told me she was raised in a union/democrat household that were voting republican because of the insanity taking over but staying dem registered. There is hope if we talk to others as T.P.G. preaches with kindness and gentle nudging into reality.
No, you can’t have an original message or thought in the GOP. Everyone has to say the same inane thing. Sarc/
"This is the way"....
Very well put J.M. !
What words do we use to make Americans understand that Democrats championing “affordability” really means championing making Americans dependent, on the gov’t check kind of affordability. And American citizens can’t afford that kind of bondage.
They still haven't come up with a plan to make things affordable. If California and other blue states are their blueprint, they're screwed.....
Correction: "WE're screwed" (if they win)
Agreed. Dems are all about slogans with no details. You don’t need details when preaching to the ignorant or close minded.
I think more taxes are their plan. If you're not paying taxes, that's a good idea. I wonder where the majority of the unaffordable areas of the country are?? Asking for a friend.
There are no words. Turnout will make the difference, especially among Independents.
Well said. But you forgot the AWFLs for Luigi.
To overcome the cheat!
“eleventy million” ! 🤣
MurCowski's gotta go.. Damn hard to do with Alaska's nutty voting system.
This is also true.
Too many to flush because we keep electing duds to replace them. See a pattern here?
We are all asking ourselves those questions, Sam.
And those of us who do care are still waiting for all of what you mention to occur.
The solution is our Constitution. Pledge allegiance and fight like hell to protect and preserve it.
We do by not voting.
is trade surplus is $1 trillion
hope for the best
plan for the worst
Good advice at all times.
my grandmother's favorite advice even in 1958 when i was 10 years old.
And besides, there's a history of the establishment media predicting a Democrat election landslide that never comes.
If the Dem's impeached Trump, there would then be heavy ass*ss*nation pressure on JD Vance. (Because Hakeem Jeffries would be 3rd in line for Presidency.) Vance would have to immediate get a new Vice President in place that would be very strong (like Rubio).
I was enjoying my coffee with this column until........
Flounder. Thank you Don
Sip. Swallow. Read.
Easier said than done. Thanks again
When Obama needed votes he gave out cell phones. Maybe Republicans should come up with a gimmick
Maybe Republicans should actually try doing something for a change? Give voters a reason to vote Republican other than that they're not Democrats. Why should anyone vote for any of them?
And end up just like them?
