“The mission was to open the borders to punish Trump voters without a glimpse of a thought about the consequences.”

I beg to differ. They hoped and planned to flood the country with democrat voters and to pad the census roles with illegals to increase Congressional Marxist/Democrat/Hate America Party representation even if the illegals didn’t or couldn’t vote.

Jim's avatar

And we are beginning to understand that our enemies used that porous border to attack us through drugs, and worse. The revelations coming from the increased confrontation with Venezuela demonstrate that stupid democrat politicians in their quest for political power opened up our country to attack.

I appreciate that "traitor" is a loaded word, and legally its meaning is much different than what most of us believe it to mean. However, no matter how misguided I think some of the democrat political leadership is, I do not believe them to be complete idiots.

They knew.

Robert Brusca's avatar

Yes...and they also ARE. complete idiots.

Jeremy R's avatar

If idiot Omar underwent FGM that would mean she is no longer a complete idiot.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

I'm puzzled: Just what exactly was it that you believe they "knew", when you already knew they were "stupid"?

Julie's avatar

They knew they were destroying our country. Creating chaos was the point. Hope that helps.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Thanks, but not entirely; it begs the question of how people can be stupid AND conniving at the same time.

Jim's avatar

Which was the point of my turn of the phrase in the last sentence. I never believe my opponents are idiots until they demonstrate to me that they are. Kamala Harris is an idiot, she showed us that on the campaign trail.

But as to the border, they knew full well what was possible, and what was happening. I don't believe they opened the border to support what Venezuela was doing, or attempting to do to us. It was all for domestic political advantage - or so they thought. We now not even hispanics approved. But they knew what vulnerabilities they created and were fine with it as long as they could get elected.

Steve Boggs's avatar

I take Don to mean “no matter what the consequences might be” that would come after their desired goals, as in ‘hang the expense’.

Remember, these are children.

Stanley Yelnats's avatar

I’ve decided that the reason they opened the borders was not, primarily, to make a bunch of New Democrat voters. It was all about money. Graft. The NGOs and USAID spread trillions of dollars to every mid-level Democrat right up to the top. Plus it funded campaigns from dog catcher to president. It made millionaires of people running Catholic charities and kept all the pedos flush in both kiddies and cash. It was big business, all paid for by you and me.

MT's avatar

In other words; it’s Organized Crime and all players, both sides, get kickbacks from around the world.

And…. That is what President Trump is facing every day while exposing it, along with his A Team, and tearing it apart one snake’s head at a time.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

Dorothy Scanlan's avatar

didn't or couldn't vote YET.

Jeremy R's avatar

Not exactly democrat voters, just a head count in districts that regularly vote Democrat and thus multiply like a bacterial infection.

James Taylor's avatar

Absolutely. They knew they couldn't steal TWO elections... so they padded the books, or tried to... but underestimated the efficacy of election reform when people were sick and bloody tired of Biden's shenanigans.

A bus pulled up near the U.S. Capitol. It was carrying 12 Venezuelans, four Colombians, four Cubans and four Nicaraguans…

Don. Where’s the punchline??? 🤔

Playswithneedles's avatar

That may have been the beginning but I think that the most damaging thing Abbott did was sending those 50 illegals to Martha’s Vineyard and the way the far left compassionate local residents managed to get them deported off the island within hours.

It showed the entire country what a complete fraud the left is and it angered millions.

Damn the torpedoes's avatar

That was DeSantis that did that. Now he wants to get rid of property taxes for full-time residents of Florida. Brilliant!

Grumpy Oldman's avatar

Hmmm, ‘damaging?’ To whom and how?

Their LYING, FALSE narrative peddled by political grifters and parroted by the FAKE NEWS media? Oh, please…

Governor Abbott just exposed the Hampton’s virtue-signaling jacka$$ communists for their hypocrisy?

Laughing at, mocking & ridiculing self-centered, self-important jacka$$e$ is fun because they take themselves so seriously and when they get offended, I find that even funnier, too.

Alice Ball's avatar

And equally as vital, to kick the Republican Congress’ ass to codify his agenda.

They’ve barely accomplished anything since August in that vein, and after the shutdown they are in the process of extending the ACA subsidies that the Democrats wanted all along.

As I repeatedly say, they are our Achilles heel when it comes to saving this country’s future. .

Joe LaGreca's avatar

It's been difficult for DJT to make appointments in blue states like NJ due to the Senate's "blue slip" tradition. I don't recall states with GOP senators blocking appts by a DEM president - but the DEM's, led by Chuckie Cheese, are only too happy to block Trump. Grassley has to get off his ass & this BS has to end.

Suzie's avatar

Vance needs to spend waaay more time over there herding those cats.

They are slow walking everything we need to get accomplished and it is beyond infuriating.

Reddog's avatar

It’s called “controlled laziness”. But you’re right, Vance needs to stop campaigning for his next job and do what he was paid to do in this one. Trump went out on a limb to pick him from a bunch of good people. Payback time. Incidentally, the person who never gets any credit for her role in keeping things going is Wiles, Trumps CoS. She’s earning her salary for sure.

Valoree Dowell's avatar

Amen to that. He is the reason I voted.

Sam Prentice's avatar

Oh, and then President Trump hurt poor little Grassley's feelings by calling him out for his stupidity on the Blue Slips. Senate traditions and good old boy favors are more important to Grassley than saving our freaking republic. And many other senators called Trump out for being mean to the grand old dame of the Senate, Chuck Grassley.

Our biggest hurdle is possibly insurmountable. Almost one-half of all of our Republicans in congress are NOT on OUR side. They are quislings and are always on the ready to shiv us.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Grassley needs to axe the blue slip/ then retire and enjoy life on the taxpayers .

Reddog's avatar

Grassley is older than me and one of a few who are actually doing something besides fund raise. Give the old guy a break, he’s trying.

Joe LaGreca's avatar

Not trying hard enough - needs to get PDJT's appointments through - if it takes ditching the "blue slip" - then just do it already. I don't see any other path as Chuckie will hold PDJT hostage to his demands just to green light any appts.

Reddog's avatar

Problem with GOP majority is they are splintered and not pulling together. That isn’t Grassleys fault. The speaker of the House sucks in my opinion. He is resting on his success getting One Beautiful Bill through. Not up to job. Need a Tom Homan type now.

Sam Prentice's avatar

You have to be kidding. Mike Johnson is doing a phenomenal job. He has a one or two vote majority and has an almost impossible gauntlet to run through every day. Tell me any other Republican in the House who could have even done as well as Johnson let alone better.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

No blue slip for him Reddog, he needs to let a new MAGA Sen. take his place but no more 20+ years in a seat [12 ?] .

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Now Suzie these pubbies are in a wait and wave goodby to your freedoms mode so as not to hurt any more feelz.

Reddog's avatar

Good one. I hope the GOP members all get a puppy for Christmas. Someone has to like them.

Brian LeMay's avatar

Not sure if that will help ; dogs have incredible instincts .

From the Beach...🌞🇧🇷🏖️🌊🐬🌎😎's avatar

Amen, Suzie. You nailed it once again. Thank you.

Reddog's avatar

I second that! Without their help, this will all come to an end in three years or less.

Robert Brusca's avatar

Too many reversible executive orders

Reddog's avatar

That requires help from congress and the SCOTUS so don’t expect too much from the Hill. Let’s face it, Trump is doing this on his own with help of friends in DOJ and FBI.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

I have a fair amount of confidence we're headed that way. But in the legal business nothing happens very fast.

I was never so proud to be a Texas resident for 32 years as when Abbott started the bus rides to the North. In 1981 I decamped from working in Massachusetts to work in a Texas refinery and then spent 28 years in USAF. In 2015 Gov Rick Perry honored me with proclaiming me an honorary Texan- I framed the certificate and it is the first thing you see when you enter my house. Abbott and also DeSantis bus rides were gamechangers in pointing out hypocrisy.

Suzie's avatar

The DeSantis deportation to Martha’s Vineyard exposed the hypocrisy of the Left when it comes to NIMBY, in the sharpest relief! They couldn’t get those illegals out of there fast enough. Those images of their flagrant phony virtue signaling hypocrisy will live in infamy forever.

Biden will be remembered as the worst President ever.

Biden only “won” because of massive “irregularities “ in key districts in key states. It wasn’t a win. We know it was a cheat.

When a group goes to those lengths to get power and stay in power we the folks are just collateral damage.

We better not forget get it but I have my doubts. New York City was attacked by Muslim terrorists over 20 years ago, the electorate has changed so much since that a Communist Muslim is going to be the mayor.

dancingtime's avatar

Actually, it was better that Trump did not have a second consecutive term....All of this was exposed during Biden but a second consecutive term would have completed the impeachment process....Trump was a naive businessman who did not understand that not everyone wants to make a deal...and the actual treachery in the Deep State...he had four years to prepare...and prepare he did...the piece de resistance from the Dems was trying to kill him...a real attention getter....now to follow how far along this color revolution is and to see what happens to the Seditious Six...there must be consequences.

Reddog's avatar

Agreed. One of the most striking things that glares at us today is the level of soft and hard corruption in all facets of our government. When Doge exposed the Democrats funding apparatus in USAID, the left just shifted to other programs like Feed the Children. The level of corruption is mind bending. As this all becomes known, public trust will go in the toilet and the left will become increasingly enraged and violent. We are in a period like nothing we have ever encountered before. Our government is a house of cards.

CactusMatt32's avatar

He has already lost the argument. He and his fellow traitors know it. That’s why they keep trying to explain themselves over and over.

All of the poll choices are excellent, Don but the one that is leading at the moment is too true and too sad. We forget. FJB is thought of as the pimple between our DJTs, but should be recognized as the cancer he is. That kind of political poison should be remembered, not let to slip away with time. The Dems have kept hatred for Nixon alive lo these many years, but commiecrat villainy is forgotten. How about Ted Kennedy killing an innocent woman? How about Carter giving away the Panama canal? I could go on and on about the muslim slime dog Obummer, but it probably wouldn't help, just make me more incredulous. Wake up people this is more serious than we give it credit for.

I don't believe the country will ever recover from the damage caused by the tag team of Obama and Biden. Obama chose Minneapolis as the repository for thousands of Somali refugees, and the entire country is learning how that worked out. But wherever they were to go, could he have selected a more inhospitable place for East Africans to settle? Yesterday I went grocery shopping and parked next to a van with the engine running and a Somali couple looking miserable in the front seat. It was 6° with light snow falling. I pitied them. Right now it's a balmy 25° in Minneapolis and there's only about 3-4 inches of snow on the ground, but more is on the way today, and sub-zero temps are in the forecast for later this week. It's just one example of a stupidly cruel, inhumane and destructive policy from one of the two worst Presidents in my 72 plus years. Don't get me started on ObamaCare, open borders or vaccine mandates.
