Yesterday, Forrest Gump wrote it may mark the beginning of the end of the Uniparty. So, I unglued myself from the computer, popped some corn, and sat down to watch the sausage being made. I would watch them censure Tlaib, fail to expel Santos and censure MTG. Two out of three ain't bad? Sorry, this isn’t baseball, where .666 would be phenomenal.

Today, I feel like Charlie Brown, betrayed by Lucy and the football. 23 'Republicans' voted NOT to censure Tlaib. If 21 of them had not voted or voted present, she would have been censured, 200 to 199. And it was such an easy call, it must be considered as Johnson's first failure.

The next may be passing an Israel Aid package of 14 Billion separately, offset by a 14 Billion cut of IRS (the 80,000 new agents authorized by the Income Reduction Act). The ’non partisan’ CBO(the definition of an oxymoron), just came out and said it would cost close to 27 Billion, not a simple tradeoff. I don’t have the skills to do the math on that. 'The Hill' has the list of the spineless. To their credit,13 Democrats did not vote.

'A wide array of members from the GOP Conference voted to table the resolution, from House Freedom Caucus Chairman Chip Roy, R-Texas!!, to moderate Rep. John Duarte, R-Calif'.

‘Some of the “conservatives” on this list are claiming they couldn’t vote to censure Tlaib because my resolution called Oct 18th an insurrection. These same “conservatives” have never lifted a finger to help Jan6 defendants. They could care less that they are rotting in jail. This is why Republicans NEVER do anything to stop the communists, Democrats, or ever hold anyone accountable’.!!!' MTG wrote that on X. Profundity, thy name is MTG.
