Up until January 20th of this year our FBI was busy monitoring school board meetings and Catholic congregations who pray in Latin rather than protecting us from criminals. In Britain, they chose more self hating Marxists to rule their nation who are only dedicated to keeping their Islamic citizens happy. How far has England fallen and how fortunate we are that DJT and MAGA are in charge here now!

Good luck with your recovery. I had both of mine replaced in the summer of 2019- 2 months apart. Old baseball injuries fixed. And my recovery went very well. One hip is 100% better- no issues; the other about 97% with only minor pain from time to time sleeping on that side. Very manageable. One suggestion... do EXACTLY what the doctors and PT people say you should do; no more; no less. I have a buddy who had both of his done and he felt so good that he was walking miles in just a few days. BAD MOVE. He had to have both of those hips replaced a couple of years later. Word to the wise from someone who has gone through this.

Great advice! I know a woman who had a hip replacement and did the opposite - she never did the PT. Now, two years later, she can barely walk and is desperately trying to catch up by exercising.

PT is not a suggestion. IT is imperative. I had a shoulder replacement and had an appt with Dr. to have a colonoscopy. We were talking and he said he had had a shoulder replacement and he couldn't even scratch his nose. I started showing off what I could do BECAUSE I did the PT. Cancelled the colonoscopy. :)

Stolen Valor Blumenthal, hands down, claiming he was deployed in Vietnam while in the Reserves. Walz comes close, also a liar. I wonder if there’s a list of modern politicians who claimed military service who exaggerated or lied about their role, and how many are Dems versus Republicans. Kerry is one.

The Brits have been digging a hole for themselves ever since Thatcher left the political scene and they’re still digging. Despite the fact that we here in NA have bailed their ass out twice, they are among the first to criticize us when things get crazy. Though I’m Canadian it still bugs my ass the way they respond to President Trump, and this goes back to his first term.

Too bad about losing control of their Immigration thing. I’m in the process of storing up enough popcorn to watch the European Civil War kick off fairly soon. It’ll start in Germany , spread to the British Island and finally get to France. I bet this thing in Iran accelerates that. Whatever, as long as we don’t send any of our kids over there to bail those creeps out again, and by again, I mean ever again!

“the Brits have never been much of a fighting force.”

They’ve never gotten over losing 60,000 men in one day during The Somme Offensive in World War I. The Germans kicked them out of Europe three times in 1940 - Dunkirk, Norway, & Greece - & then once again in 1942 at Dieppe. Britain has a particular talent for duping the U.S. to do the heavy fighting of its wars & American politicos have been too stupid to realize it.

The war was totally needless to begin with; it was a family feud on a bloody scale: England’s Queen Victoria’s two nephews were Czar Nicholas II of Russia & Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. The British only got their knickers in a twist about Germany in the early 20th Century when the Kaiser had the audacity to begin building a blue water navy (“Britannia Rules the Waves!” don’t ’ya know!). That said, the war started out in 1914 somewhat akin to the Napoleonic Wars of the previous century, however major changes had already taken place in warfare due to the advent of the machine gun & quick firing artillery. The muzzle-loading cannons of the previous century could only fire about a round a minute if that with powder & shot loaded separately. The modern French 75 artillery gun for example, could fire around 20 rounds per minute of a self-contained pre-made cartridge. This wrecked the battlefield literally & figuratively. Cavalry was now totally obsolete due to the machine gun & there was no way to break the stalemate until the advent of the tank under British auspices in 1916 & those were slow, clumsy, & mechanically unreliable.

In short Europe decided to commit suicide in 1914 & they did it again in 1939. See Europe & England today; wrecked societies living on borrowed time. It’s sad, Western Europe was once the cradle of civilization. Now they stand for & tolerate barbarism on a mass scale.
