Harvard: 55% fear socialism, 45% fear MAGA
Biden's attempt to isolate and demonize Trump supporters failed miserably -- even among the Trump-obsessed communists in his party.
The Harvard-Harris poll asked, "Right now, which is your greatest concern?"
Only 11% said, "Donald Trump and MAGA movement."
That is pretty telling given roughly half the respondents were either Democrats or Democrat sympathizers.
The No. 1 concern was inflation at 38%.
It asked, "Which is your second greatest concern?"
Only 6% said Trump and MAGA.
To put that in perspective, 55% said inflation was either their top or second concern.
24% said crime.
21% said immigration.
19% said energy prices.
But only 17% said Trump and MAGA.
That is despite a 24/7 stream of lies, disinformation and misinformation about nuclear codes, Russiagate, racism and the like.
In fact, the poll asked, "Are you more concerned about the Socialist left in America and the power they are gaining or more afraid of MAGA Republicans and the power they are getting?"
55% said they fear socialism. Only 45% fear MAGA.
Biden struck out. His dark night of Nazi-inspired demonization of Trump supporters failed to persuade Americans of any danger from people who just want to Make America Great Again.
Cision reported, "After the DOJ raided Mar-a-Lago, Trump is still the 2024 favorite: 6 in 10 GOP voters would pick Trump if the Republican presidential primary were held today. Trump would win the presidential election against Biden or Kamala Harris if it were held today.
"The raid is dividing Americans: Voters are evenly split on whether the Mar-a-Lago search was required by DOJ protocols or a politically motivated use of force, and whether the DOJ took more documents than the warrant allowed.
"Americans want the DOJ to use other methods: 60% think that if the DOJ wanted Trump's documents, it should have asked a judge to order it through open court rather than use a search warrant to seize them. 58% think the appointment of a special master to assess what the DOJ took is reasonable."
The raid on Mar-a-Lago backfired.
Cision also said, "Biden's September 1 speech in Philadelphia, in which he called Trump and MAGA Republicans a threat to the country, is viewed as divisive: 56% of voters, including 62% of Independents, opposed it."
The poll was sobering but not without its moments.
It asked, "Who did you vote for in the 2020 presidential election?"
41% said Biden.
42% said Trump.
Hmm. Maybe the election was stolen. More likely, many Biden voters are too ashamed to admit they voted for the crooked old pedo.
