Lowercase triggers me. Grok: Love the thread-weaving: from Julien Blanc’s Instagram siren call on mind-trickery to your childhood Dr dropping truth bombs like they’re confetti. “Son, you are inferior”—that’s the kind of deadpan gut-punch that’d make even crocodile tears evaporate. And hoofdaphobia? Chef’s kiss on the neologism; I’m stealing that for my next roast of lowercase lurkers.

Leslie Stahl is Exhibit #1, claiming during her interview with President Trump that the Hunter Biden emails could not be verified. She is a complete HACK. It probably took the FBI less than an hour to verify both the emails and Hunter’s laptop. She only had to ask them, but she didn’t want the truth, because it conflicted with the fake news narrative that the laptop was a Russian info op to hurt Biden - see how that works? 😒

I can’t comment on the msm since I haven’t watched any of them in 2 decades. Let me qualify that by confessing that I will watch their old reruns of crime shows (Dateline, 2020, 48 Hours) when I’m bored by cable offerings. It is satisfying to see the guilty punished. Sad to say few are politicians. There are times when I wish I had been on the jury but I doubt my sometimes moniker, ‘Madame de Farge’ would have gotten me past jury selection of a savvy criminal defense lawyer. Truly she was misunderstood.

My neighbor and Trumper friend watches Fox and never misses Gutfeld so I get updates and I do find him witty and fun. Maybe I should tune in to Fox occasionally. She recently changed her Internet access and has become a YouTube junkie. I have avoided that trap so far.

As for my viewing pleasure I have been a loyal viewer of Bannon’s War Room on RAV, John Solomon and Amanda Head’s ‘Just the News’ and a live NY show, ‘Live from Studio 6’. Lately Bannon is starting to wear thin. Criticism of Israel and/or Bibi will go absolutely nowhere with me. Last night I watched JD at a TP campus meeting of approx 18k college students. The spontaneous Q&A was superb and showed him to be as knowledgeable and quick on his feet as The Boss. No doubt he and Marco will be the next ticket. DeSantis for SOS would be my wish. Such a wealth of MAGA talent on display thanks to PDJT.

It wasn't Bret Baier that made the call-- he only introduced/announced it. The guy in charge of their election coverage made the actual call. I forget his name (appearance-wise, he's mostly bald) but Bret Baier introduced him, and this guy was horrible--he COULD NOT CONCEAL his GLEE that they were calling AZ for the Dems. He was practically GLOATING. This guy, who has been the head of Fox's election coverage for many years, is a liberal snake that Fox should have fired long ago. He was clearly part of the pre-planned conspiracy to steal the 2020 election.

10/30/25: Excellent point. But why should Baier move? He gets to impersonate someone he isn't and the money ain't bad. And of course, if Bari Weiss had all her marbles (HA!!!), she would have remembered what happened to Megyn Kelly when she crossed Sixth Avenue and went to work for NBC (congrats, Megyn, on soaking VIACOM for millions and millions of dollars and making them look like what they are, total jackasses).

On the other hand, Weiss might have merely pulled a Trump and floated the suggestion of hiring Baier with absolutely no intention of actually doing it, just to see everyone at CBS with their hair igniting into flames. Personally, I think she ought to persuade the CBS owners to buy the NY Times so she can walk into their newsroom, fire EVERYONE, and put the cleaning ladies and the mail room gargoyles in charge of the paper.

Poll:: Bart Simpson for Talking Head! He would serve as a viewer discretion advisory that viewers were about to watch fiction. *** The "60 MInutes" story represents the insulated bubble in which the MSM lives. Those who live in that bubble, an alternative reality, shun facts and logical thinking as if they were heart attacks. The Bari Weiss story is illustrative. It is not the story of a new sheriff coming to town to reform it. I see her as more like a little girl watching a parade shouting, "The emperor has no clothes." She has identified the problem but she is not about to dress the emperor in truth. Nor was she hired to banish liberalism. She is a flaming liberal just like them. We can conclude that her job is to increase profits by making the propaganda less obvious, less extreme.

Although Bari Weiss seems to have admirable intentions to improve CBS News ratings, there is no personality CBS could acquire that would persuade me to watch Fox News EVER again! When it became painfully obvious that Fox News was complicit in the stolen Presidential and GA Senatorial elections of 2020, we cancelled our satellite subscription service and haven’t regretted “cutting the cord” since.

Good morning, all.

I must be a troglodyte.

I don't watch any of that stuff. Got so tired of talking heads (not all of them) that I catch up with news on X and a few other websites. Big D here is the only consistent stop on my daily check-in. I have found that between this substack and one or two conservative spots, I get what I need; being fair-minded, I also check on what's poppin' at what could be called the 'other' side. Usually a VERY short visit, as the vitriol never lets up.

I've no time for hate. If somebody can't make an argument for something they think is important, without spewing nastiness about the opposition - <CLICK> On to somewhere else. I have left folks behind, who had otherwise been a part of my life, as soon as I heard something vile spoken with great conviction. No angel am I, but personal attacks on account of race warrant an instant 'Adios' from me. Slam somebody for being from L.A., or Cleveland, well.... ;)

Have a great day, everyone!

Bari has clearly diagnosed the problem with legacy media, only they refuse to take the cure. Good. Let them continue in their slow and agonizing death spiral.

She just may turn CBS around becuase she has such strong backing from on high at the organization. It will come to a head though, with the diehards refusing to go along. But then, that’s a more entertaining show than their fake news.

I give her a ton of credit for being willing to go into the lion’s den and at least attempt to salvage it.

IMHO, FOX is vastly overrated. Outnumbered, the Five and Gutfeld are the only shows worth watching, besides keeping FOX afloat.

America really doesn't need three Marxist television stations parroting the same old LIES, so now would be good time to revoke CBS' broadcasting license, then notify CNN, ABC and NBC that if they don't start reporting the news truthfully, not THEIR truth, just the truth, then they're next to lose their license.

It's really that simple.
