Look no further than our supposedly-free allies in Canada and the UK to see what happens without one.
Hopefully, when Alleged Governor Abigail Spankbottom signs all the unconstitutional gun laws making their way through the Virginia General Assembly, we'll once again see that Bill in action.

Northern VA is overall very wealthy and they decide who gets elected in the state for the most part. But right now, all of these red turning blue cities have one thing in common: floods of illegals going to sanctuary regions where the government looks the other way and allows illegals to get ID and obtain government assistance. I agree here. We are the most prosperous country on earth even with our problems yet the countries on our northern and southern borders struggle to match us. Canada is stable but hopelessly socialist oriented. Mexico should be a flourishing country with lots of trade with us but it’s hopelessly corrupt and very poor. If it were not for our companies that located there, they would be third world. You have to ask yourself why would a country like Mexico or Canada not adopt more American like economies and share in the wealth it offers? The same comparison could be made regarding blue vs red states. Why does CA pay over $5 for a gallon of gas? Why are people moving from CA and Chicago and NYC to Texas and Florida? It isn’t because of the weather. Some states want people to prosper and some states want to control the prosperity. They want to control who succeeds and who doesn’t. There has to be a reason for the disparity and the reason is largely one of political ideology and indifference to the rights of fellow citizens. Red states largely care about their fellow citizens and blue state’s don’t.
I’ve always said that US national statistics should be provided both with and without California. Maybe New York also. The country must be roaring along right now to be carrying these basket cases.
