The redistricting fight is opening a lot of eyes as many didn't realize how biased and distorted it became. I don't know how to set districts so they are "color blind", but I do know that if we fix all the cheating in elections that has been going on for generations the effect of districting would be less impactful. Still, it needs to be made 'color blind' if possible. I just don't know of a metric that can be used to guide the boundaries of each district.

In legal terms, this straight woman is required to meet a "higher standard of proof" than a member of a minority group to prove discrimination. Specifically citing the Civil Rights Act, the lower court ruled "Ames must make an "additional showing of background circumstances to support the suspicion that the defendant is that unusual employer who discriminated against the majority.” In a unanimous decision, SCOTUS held that the additional circumstances language was unconstitutional. My state is/was trying for 6 types of HS diplomas, 3 of which were basically the students made it to the school most days. I am not sure what they will settle on, other than most of the of the diplomas dont require teachers to teach or students to learn. It drives me nuts. If you dont put boundaries on kids or push them, they will never do more than drool on themselves. And that is any kind of kid, black or white or green.
As an observer of racial prejudice since I was a boy and trained by my mother to think outside the box, I of course have a different view. Black women are some of the most fearsome and fearless creatures on the planet. We as a white society share some of the blame or perhaps a better word would be responsibility. They were not only abused by the men of their race, many of whom were not raised by fathers have used their poverty as an excuse to participate in every type of questionable fundraising such as drug dealing, prostitution, gambling, and extortion, they were treated by the white people as slaves, servants, and sex toys, deliberately keeping their wages as low as possible. Many black women through intelligence and perseverance still succeeded wildly.
My warning is to those who think if black women become conservative that that will solve the competition problem but you are absolutely wrong. They will take their percentage care and More just like black coaches now represent more than 10 to 12% of the black population and Athletics. I realize being a privileged white man that both male and female blacks, and hard-working orientals, will steal some of my market share, but my loving God has trained me to be defferential. So relax, white privileged men and women and let the rise of conservative black women kick in and reform these bunch of lazy ass slobs that are soaking up funds through greed and graft.

As they used to say to girls in "the old days" keep your legs crossed. Plus, birth control is readily available everywhere. IT's a sickness in that strata of society with no thought that having multiple babies by various men is ok. A badge of courage to be a "single mother" which rarely turns out well for the children.
I have some black women in my circle and they are not ever like that. I believe that the more outrageous the behavior, the more likely it's featured online and in the news. Any attention is better than no attention, even for supposedly educated congress people and judges.
