I was watching a couple of PragerU’s 5 minute videos on some of the 20th century’s most heinous people- Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro (Hitler was a piker compared to them) & in every case they (& their god, Marx) all came from a pretty good/decent background. Meaning that their real motivation was not betterment for all but just them. Of course, we all saw what it did to Gollum in the Lord of the Rings.
Because the so-called buyout came with strings. It would result in a break in service so it affected their pension. It basically was designed to make sure no one could go back to work for the feds if they took it. Smart idea actually if you are truly trying to cut government.
