The question is, has he been flying missions all along or was he a last minute replacement and his “rusty” combat experience was the cause of the shoot down. Pulled into a nearby closed restaurant's parking lot. I looked at it. No way could I possibly get it out without the right tools.
Young man, built like an ox, shut off his cell phone ---- who stands in the parking lot of a closed restaurant on Easter Day in the driving rain?! --- ran over to us, said hello, and then proceeded with indefatigable resolve --- with his bare hands! --- to tug and pull and finally extract the cone from where it had become tightly wedged.
And in a good humor that defies all cynicism about the human race, he waved off the offer of a generous reward and merrily went on his way.
I'm proud of our military no matter what, and grateful to GOD for delivering the airmen safely from the mouth of the enemy.

I almost feel sorry for the TDS crowd. Their whole world is built around hating Trump no matter the cost or effort. They’ve become so focused on this singular goal that they don’t seem to realize that very soon the very foundation for their house of hate will be gone. I await mondays column to get the boost I need to get me thru the week. Perspective is a wonderful thing. Don puts it all back into perspective. Trump’s refusal to lose combined with his last terms indifference to the haters is producing real clarity on who’s corrupt, who’s legitimately working for America and who’s not.
